The current study aims to identify the effect of using the peer education strategyin learning English on the achievement of intermediate school students from their teachers’ point of view .To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, which is concerned with describing the phenomenon under study, using a questionnaire as a tool for data collection by distributing it to a sample of (60) English language teachers in Qassim region in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study revealed a high-level effect of using the peer learning strategy on the achievement of intermediate school students, and a high level of English language teachers' support for the effectiveness of using the peer education strategy in teaching English, and there are statistically significant differences in the opinion of teachers about the effectiveness of using peer learning strategy in learning English due to the gender variable in favor of females, which indicates that female teachers are more aware and understanding the effectiveness of using the peer learning strategy in teaching English. Also, the study found out that there are no statistically significant differences in the effect of using peer education in the education of intermediate school students due to the variables of gender, academic position, educational qualification, and number of years of work. The researcher recommended the need to use modern methods in the field of education in order to increase students' levels and improve their abilities and skills, and paying attention to providing programs and training courses that contribute to improving teachers' performance levels and raising their ability to use modern teaching method

Background: Psychological impacts among healthcare professionals have increased significantly due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases. This study aimed to identify stress and coping strategies among healthcare professionals in Saudi Arabia during the COVID-19 outbreak. Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional study online survey was conducted for health care professionals during a peak of COVID-19 from March to June 2020 at different healthcare institutions at KSA (n=342). Results: Sixty-five percent of responders often and always feel fears about infection and subsequent effects on themselves, the patient, and the family. 57% of them stated that they felt sometimes depressed mode and 47% anxiety during the outbreak. Eightyfour percent of the respondent always focusing on prevention as the first biosecurity measures such as hand-washing habits and using hand sanitizer, and 38.3% of them make sometimes relax and rest. While half of the responses (50%) sometimes had physical exercise. Also, thirty-eight percent joined sometimes community and/or group online chat groups, and 56.1% always keep contact with family and friends through social messaging or phone calls. Conclusion: Understanding this topic is important for healthcare organizations, effective strategies, and programs is needed to provide holistic staff care and wellbeing during outbreaks that focus on the value of mental and emotional support

This thesis investigates English language teachers' perspectives and experiences using social media technologies, particularly Instagram, to support English language teaching and learning. Little is known about using social media technologies to enhance English language learning from the perspectives of English teachers, or about the factors that could influence how these tools are used and the need for them to be used effectively. This study provides the Saudi Ministry of Education with a clear understanding of certain potential functions that social media might fulfil toward enhancing the English language teaching and learning environment. The study's participants are teachers of English. The data was collected using a qualitative approach (interviews and online observation). With a total of sixteen English language teachers, semi-structured interviews were conducted to gain an insight into their perspectives and experiences, and to enable them to express their opinions on using such technology tools to support English language teaching. This qualitative research reveals that teachers had positive experiences with Instagram. It enables them to socialise and engage with English teachers from around the world to share knowledge, helping them to support learners outside the foreign language curriculum. They stated that, because social media is a medium with which most students are already familiar, adopting it can help make teaching and learning English more enjoyable. However, a number of potential issues were highlighted, including social media and copyright literacy, as well as lack of time on the part of teachers. The teachers believed that certain teachers may find it difficult to use social media to help their English teaching because of their lack of digital literacy. They also stated that the lack of regular administrative support that they experience may act as an obstacle to utilising social media as a teaching aid. Future recommendations offered by the teachers for successfully adopting social media to help English language teaching included employing social media as a set of supportive tools in English learning and integrating some activities from social media to support the English curriculum. In general terms, the present study provides teachers with a possible model for how to use social media in their teaching and learning practices

This study investigated the effects the use of cooperative learning method in English as a second language reading comprehension performance and how it improves the students\u27 second language, their attitudes toward cooperative learning, and their motivation toward reading. Sixty ESL Saudi high school students from The Third Secondary School in Arrass City participated in this study and where divided into two groups (experimental group vs. control group). A pretest-posttest control group design was employed. Data were analyzed using a one-way analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) to test the differences between the experimental and the comparison group. The results of this analysis showed there was no significant difference between experimental and comparison groups in the level of students\u27 motivation toward reading. There were significant differences between the two groups in the reading comprehension performance and in students\u27 attitudes toward cooperative learning, which favored the experimental group. Finally, the researcher discussed educational implications for each variable and suggested several recommendations for implementation and further research

Stability scrutinization and model development for mixed convective non-Newtonian hybrid nanomaterial flow in thermal system over a vertical shrinking surface

The development of a better extremely high-efficiency coolant classified as nanofluid for numerous engineering and industrial technologies has been made possible by recent advancements in nanotechnology. In this work, we investigate the impression of an irregular heat generation or heat absorption on the improvement of heat transfer of Williamson hybrid nanoparticles composed of water-based Ag and MgO over a porous surface that is shrinking and stretching. The assisting and opposing flows are also provoked. The non-linear model based on differential equations is derived and numerically handled via a bvp4c process based on some reasonable assumptions. In an appropriate region of mixed convection, mass transpiration velocity, and shrinking surface characteristics, two dissimilar branch outcomes are discovered with the change of the influential parameters. In addition, the analysis of the temporal stability to moderate disruptions is executed on these multiple solutions. It is also discovered that whereas the lower solution is unstable with negative lowest eigenvalues, the upper solution is stable and essentially realistic. In addition, the friction factor and the rate of heat transfer rose by nearly 0.129% and 0.039% for the upper branch solution for superior nanoparticle volume fraction, respectively, and decreases by nearly 0.101% and 0.044% for the lower branch solution. Moreover, the outlines of temperature escalates due to the heat source and decelerates due to the heat sink. Finally, the present fallouts are assessed with the prior findings in a specific case to demonstrate the correctness of the existing technique. This study has a wide range of intriguing applications like heating and cooling systems, geothermal energy plants, aerodynamics, and the manufacture of gate disc valves, etc
