    Preferencije, navike i ovisnost mlađih adolescenata o digitalnim igrama

    The paper provides an empirically grounded innovative and unique insight into relations between digital gameplay preferences, habits and addiction. The research sample consisted of 1262 eleven-to-fifteen-year-old students from 22 Serbian schools. An adequate psychometric instrument was developed and evaluated as part of the research. The influence of socio-demographic factors on digital gameplay preferences, habits and addiction was analyzed. Research hypotheses have been proposed in accordance with research objectives. They have been confirmed since the obtained results support the existence of the relation between digital gameplay and addiction among early adolescents.U radu se daje empirijski utemeljen inovativan i jedinstven uvid u odnose između preferencija, navika i ovisnosti o digitalnim igrama. Uzorak istraživanja sastojao se od 1262 učenika iz 22 škole u Srbiji, u dobi od 11 do 15 godina. Dio istraživanja odnosio se na razvoj i evaluaciju odgovarajućeg psihometrijskog instrumenta. Analiziran je utjecaj socio-demografskih čimbenika na preferencije, navike i ovisnost o digitalnim igrama. U skladu s istraživačkim ciljevima i zadaćama formulirane su istraživačke hipoteze, koje su potvrđene.     The paper explores the relations among early adolescents’ digital gaming preferences and habits and their gender and multiple intelligences profiles. The study was conducted in 2015 with an empirical sample of 1,262 students aged 11 to 15. A vast majority of these students (86.9 %) played digital games regularly. Early adolescent females spent on average 8.7 h per week playing digital games, while males spent an average of about 17.7 h per week playing digital games. Students with higher scores in Interpersonal intelligence section spent more time playing digital games, while those with higher scores in Visual/spatial and Natural intelligences section played less. Most of the students (41.6 %) played digital games longer than five years. Early adolescent males favored Arcade and Sports games, while females preferred Logic, Online and Adventure game genres. Arcade (Action/Shooter/Platform) and Adventure games were preferably played by students with higher scores in Logical/mathematical intelligence, and Sports (Fighting) games were preferably played by students with higher scores in Bodily/kinesthetic intelligence. Strategy games were a preferred genre for students with lower scores in Musical/rhythmic intelligences. These findings support the notion that individual psychological characteristics lead to media selection and behavioral patterns construction. Vice versa, playing the preferred game genre will probably further motivate players to enhance the specific set of skills, strategies and habits.U radu se istražuju veze između preferencija i navika mlađih adolescenata u području digitalnih igara i njihovi profili s obzirom na spol i višestruke inteligencije. Istraživanje je provedeno 2015. godine na empirijskom uzorku od 1262 učenika u dobi između 11 i 15 godina. Velika većina tih učenika (86,9 %) redovno je igrala digitalne igre. Mlađe adolescentice provode prosječno 8,7 sati tjedno igrajući digitalne igre, a mlađi adolescenti u prosjeku tjedno provedu 17,7 sati igrajući digitalne igre. Učenici koji su ostvarili viši rezultat u dijelu upitnika koji se odnosi na interpersonalnu inteligenciju proveli su više vremena igrajući digitalne igre, a oni koji su ostvarili viši rezultat u vizualnoj/prostornoj i naturalističkoj inteligenciji igrali su digitalne igre u manjoj mjeri. Većina učenika (41,6 %) igrala je digitalne igre duže od pet godina. Mlađi adolescenti više su voljeli arkadne i sportske igre, a djevojke su više voljele logičke, online i avanturističke žanrove. Arkadne (akcijske/igre pucanja/platformske) i avanturističke igre pretežno su igrali učenici koji su ostvarili veći broj bodova u području logičko-matematičke inteligencije, a sportske (igre borbe) su pretežno igrali učenici koji su ostvarili veći broj bodova u tjelesno-kinestetičkoj inteligenciji. Strategijske igre bile su omiljeni žanr učenika koji su ostvarili niži rezultat u području glazbene/ritmičke inteligencije. Ti rezultati idu u prilog tvrdnji da individualna psihološka obilježja vode medijskoj selekciji i izgradnji obrazaca ponašanja. Suprotno tome, igranje igrice omiljenog žanra vjerojatno će dalje motivirati igrače za razvijanje specifične skupine vještina, strategija i navika

    The paper presents a review of literature resources that studied the effects of digital games on students\u27 learning and intelligence. The research included 5,740 scientific papers from 11 electronic repositories that presented various evidence of multidimensional impact of digital games on students. Categorization and application of multiple qualitative criteria identified 36 representative papers that presented empirical evidence. Various indicators and benchmarks used in papers were analysed, taking into account the methodological limitations. The results confirm the complex relations between digital games andlearning styles and multiple intelligences on which the recommendations and questions for future research are created.U radu se daje pregled literature koja prikazuje rezultate istraživanja o utjecaju digitalnih igara na učenje i inteligencije učenika. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo 5740 znanstvenih radova iz 11 elektroničkih repozitorija, a koji su pružili raznolike dokaze o višedimenzionalnom utjecaju digitalnih igara na učenike. Kategorizacijom i primjenom višestrukih kvalitativnih kriterija pronađeno je 36 odgovarajućih radova koji su sadržavali empirijske dokaze. U radovima su analizirani raznovrsni indikatori i referentne točke, uzimajući u obzir metodološka ograničenja. Rezultati potvrđuju kompleksne veze između digitalnih igara i stilova učenja, kao i višestrukih inteligencija, na temelju kojih se stvaraju preporuke i pitanja za buduća istraživanja

    Application of semi-selective mediums in routine diagnostic testing of Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. phaseolicola on common bean seeds

    Halo blight, caused by Pseudomonas savastanoi pv. phaseolicola (Psp), is considered to be an important bacterial disease on common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in Serbia. Use of pathogen-free seeds is one of the most effective control measures against this disease. The aim of this study was to evaluate a detection method for Psp on untreated common bean seeds (23 genotypes) from commercial crops grown within Serbia. Detection of this pathogen was made by plating onto the modified sucrose peptone (MSP) and Milk Tween (MT) semi-selective mediums from soaked whole common bean seed. Colonies growing on the MSP medium were light yellow, convex and shiny, whereas on the MT medium, they were creamy white, flat and circular. The pathogenicity of the obtained strains was confirmed by the inoculation of germinated bean seed. The isolates recovered from the seed assay were further confirmed to be Psp by using both Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and Polymerase Chain Reaction (Nested-PCR) detection methodologies. The International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) method selected for this work was found to be effective in detecting the presence of Psp in common bean seed. The bacterium Psp was detected in only two of the 23 seed samples analyzed by this method, which shows that the bacterium is not widespread in Serbia

    Bakar citrat - defolijant u proizvodnji sadnica voćaka

    The effects of copper citrate on defoliation of one year old fruit stocks in a nursery are presented in this paper. The investigation aimed to evaluate the defoliation efficacy of copper citrate as a new formulation, compared with other compounds recommended for that purpose. Field trials were conducted in the region of Trstenik, a center of nursery production in Serbia in 2016 and 2017. Two years of investigation showed that copper citrate could be used as an efficient compound for defoliation in nursery production. A stronger defoliation effect was observed on plum stocks, compared to apple stocks. Better results were achieved with the highest concentration of copper citrate (2%), while the effectiveness decreased with lower concentrations (0.5%, 1.0% and 1.5%). Defoliation degree on nursery apple stocks after treatment with 2.0% concentration of copper citrate varied from 80.6% to 95.6%, while it reached 100% on plum stocks.U radu su prikazani efekti defolijacije sadnica jabuke i šljive, primenom različitih koncentarcija bakar citrata, kao nove formulacije, i standardnih preparata koji se koriste u ove svrhe (bordovska čorba, urea). Ogledi su sprovedeni u regionu Trstenika (Ljubava i Milutovac), koji je centar rasadničke proizvodnje u Srbiji. Tretiranja su obavljena tokom 2016. i 2017. godine. Na osnovu dobijenih rezultata zaključeno je da bakar citrat pokazuje visok potencijal za upotrebu u svrhu defolijacije sadnica jabuke i šljive. Korišćene koncentracije ovog jedinjenja su pokazale veću efikasnost u primeni na sadnicama šljive nego na sadnicama jabuke. Najbolji rezultati u oba ogleda su zabeleženi sa maksimalno primenjenom koncentracijom (2%), dok efekat defolijacije na sadnicama jabuke opada sa smanjenjem koncentracije. Stepen defolijacije jabuke primenom bakar citrata u koncentraciji od 2% kretao se od 80,6% do 95,6%, a kod šljive čak 100%. Potvrđeno je i da uspešna defolijacija sadnica jabuke i šljive značajno zavisi od vremena aplikacije kao i meteoroloških uslova

This paper describes the most important phytopathogenic fungi occur in peaches: Taphrina deformans, Podosphaera pannosa, Monilinia laxa, M. fructigena, Cladosporium carpophilum, Stigmina carpophila, Cytospora cincta, Phomopsis amygdali, Botryosphaeria spp., Chondrostereum purpureum, Colletotrichum gleosporoides, Rhizophus stolonifor and Armillaria mellea.Breskva je jedna od najznačajnijih voćnih vrsta. Parazitira je veći broj fitopatogenih mikroorganizama, prouzrokujući ekonomski štetna oboljenja.     The Industry 4.0 trend has brought significant transformation in the manufacturing process through digitalization. In Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS) there is an increase in the complexity of scheduling jobs on machines. The scheduling aims to collect data through the support of novel and emerging technologies such as: inclusion of machine sensors, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, scheduling software, etc. In this paper, we present an example of open-source job shop scheduling software (LEKIN) to solve real-time engineering problems in a manufacturing company. With using optimization algorithms and scheduling software there is likely to be a reduction of production costs and minimization of the total order completion time (make span). A test problem is running to evaluate the difference between the implementation of Shifting Bottleneck Heuristic (SBH) and some dispatching rules, such as Earliest Due Date (EDD), First Come First Served (FCFS), and Shortest Processing Time (SPT). The evaluation criteria used were the make span and the total weighted tardiness. The results have shown that the SBH outstripped the dispatching rules.Publishe

    Morfo-fiziološka proučavanja izolata Alternaria spp. poreklom sa celera

    Genus Alternaria represents one of the most important pathogens of Apiaceae family. Alternariose symptoms may develop on foliage causing leaf spot, necrosis and eventually drying and black root. Celery plants with characteristic symptoms were collected during 2012 and 2013 in Serbia. The preliminary identification was done by analysis of morphological characteristics of conidia. After identification cultural characteristics, growth rate and spore morphology were examined and compared based on influence of ecological factors such as nutrient medium, temperature, pH value of the medium and light quality.Vrste roda Alternaria predstavljaju jedne od najznačajnijih gljiva patogena familije Apiaceae. Promene koje izazivaju na biljkama domaćinima su mrka trulež korena, pegavost lišća, sušenje listova i lisnih preteljki. Tokom 2012. i 2013. godine na teritoriji Srbije, prikupljeni su uzorci celera sa karakterističnim simptomima pegavosti lišća i sušenja listova. Identifikacija izolata je izvršena analizom morfoloških karakteristika spora gljive. Nakon identifikacije izvršena su uporedna proučavanja uticaja različitih hranljivih podloga, temperatura, pH vrednosti podloga i kvaliteta svetlosti na morfološke karakteristike izolata, porast kolonija i morfologiju spora
