Evolution and research trends of inclusive museum studies: a bibliometric approach

La inclusión se define como la oportunidad que tienen las personas con discapacidad de participar plenamente en diferentes contextos: educación, trabajo, consumo, entretenimiento y otras actividades sociales diarias. Para una comprensión de esto, este estudio tiene por objeto examinar la evolución y las tendencias de investigación en el ámbito de los museos inclusivos, a fin de proponer una línea de investigación que incluya los conceptos crecientes y emergentes en esta área del conocimiento. Para ello se ha realizado una cartografía tecnológica mediante un análisis bibliométrico que ha examinado 284 publicaciones indexadas en Scopus desde 1987 hasta 2018. Los resultados indican que 47 países han realizado estudios sobre museos inclusivos, en el marco de las líneas de investigación educación inclusiva, y la educación en los museos. Investigaciones que han sido divulgadas en mayor medida a través de revistas americanas. Este estudio bibliométrico sobre los museos inclusivos permitió arrojar luz sobre la productividad, el impacto y la creación de redes de investigadores en este campo. Finalmente, este estudio constituye un punto de partida pertinente que no sólo presenta las tendencias en el ámbito de los museos inclusivos, sino que también alienta a las comunidades universitarias y a las instituciones culturales (como los museos latinoamericanos) a considerar el papel que desempeñan en esa esfera, así como la visibilidad de sus esfuerzos de investigación.Inclusion is defined as the opportunity disabled people have to fully participate in different contexts: education, work, consumption, entertainment, and other daily social activities. Entrepreneurial Intentions among Engineering Students: Applying a Theory of Planned Behavior Perspective

This research employs the Theory of Planned Behavior in an attempt to identify the factors that exert an influence on the entrepreneurial intentions of undergraduate students. The authors hope to contribute to understanding the process of entrepreneurial intentions in engineering students in the context of a developing country, taking as an example engineering students in the city of Medellín. Descriptive field and cross-sectional research was conducted using a quantitative methodological design. Data was collected using a self-administered questionnaire. The sample was made up of 636 undergraduate engineering students. Following validation, statistical Somers’ D was used to evaluate the associations between the constructs found in the Theory of Planned Behavior. It proved possible to corroborate the influence of attitudes, perceived behavioral control, current behavioral control and entrepreneurial behavior on the intention of engineering students to create a business in the future. The authors propose that current behavioral control is the most influential factor on entrepreneurial intention in engineering students. Consequently, university entrepreneurial education initiatives and efforts to motivate entrepreneurship need to be accompanied by programs that help students identify business opportunities and financial mechanisms that will allow fledgling entrepreneurs to feel confident in their personal capacities (attitudes) and their ability to access financial support to help them create businesses

Propuesta de plan de gestión ambiental del parque municipal natural La Nona, Marsella (Risaralda)

El plan de gestión ambiental es un instrumento que orienta la gestión de un área protegida para alcanzar sus objetivos de conservación de largo plazo, a partir del logro de los objetivos más específicos de mediano y corto plazo. Esta propuesta de plan de gestión ambiental es el resultado de una construcción académica y se asume como el instrumento que concreta los resultados de dicho proceso y parte del reconocimiento de diversos contextos socioculturales y dinámicas territoriales y macroregionales donde se inscribe el área protegida, así como los valores ambientales y flujos eco sistémicos que son el objeto de conservación. Así mismo determina, con base en criterios eco-sociales y ecológicos, las políticas de manejo del área protegida y la reglamentación de cada una de las zonas establecidas. Igualmente plantea las acciones relacionadas en el mediano plazo a desarrollar en el mediano plazo y que permitirán organizar la gestión de quienes ocurren en su implementación.The environmental management plan is a tool to guide the management of a protected area to achieve their conservation objectives long term, from achieving the specific objectives of short and medium term. This environmental management plan is the result of an academic building and assumed the document specific results of this process and on the recognition of different cultural contexts and macro-regional and regional dynamics which is entered the protected area and environmental values eco-system and flows that are the subject of conservation. It also determines, based on social and ecological criteria, policies protected area management and regulation of each of the established areas. Also raises the related actions in the medium term to develop in the medium term and that will organize the management of those occur in its implementation

El papel de las narrativas digitales como nueva estrategia educativa: resultados desde un análisis bibliométrico

El objetivo del presente artículo es realizar un estudio exploratorio del papel de las narrativas digitales (ND) como nueva estrategia educativa. Diversos autores han demostrado que el uso de las ND fomenta diferentes capacidades en los estudiantes, lo que permite el logro de ventajas adicionales a los procesos convencionales de lectura y escritura; además, desarrollan las habilidades inherentes a los medios digitales y al uso de las tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) e incentivan una mirada reflexiva de los temas que se analizan en clase. Método: La metodología aplicada consistió en un análisis bibliométrico, desarrollado en la base de datos Scopus a través de una ecuación de búsqueda estructurada; se obtuvieron 161 artículos los cuales fueron analizados a través de indicadores bibliométricos de cantidad, calidad y estructura; también se presenta la dinámica de las palabras clave más importantes y los campos emergentes, decrecientes y nacientes en el área de estudio. Resultados: Algunos resultados importantes demuestran que hay un crecimiento en el interés por el tema, siendo el 2012 el año de mayor productividad en el periodo analizado. En la sesión de indicadores bibliométricos de calidad se encontraron los autores que generan mayor impacto en el tema y las revistas con más publicaciones: Lecture Notes in Computer Science y Digital Education Review. Además, se presentaron los indicadores de estructura que miden la conectividad entre las publicaciones, los autores y las áreas del conocimiento asociados al análisis de redes sociales; estos indicadores mostraron que las redes de autores están dispersas y poco consolidadas y que los nuevos autores que se van adhiriendo al campo lo hacen por medio de redes ya conformadas

Public communication as a guiding strategy in citizen participation processes of youth /

El presente artículo de investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el papel de los procesos de comunicación pública y participación ciudadana en la gestión que hacen las organizaciones gubernamentales, a fin de facilitar una comunicación más eficaz con los grupos de interés, que para el presente caso se enfoca en las comunidades jóvenes. La metodología planteada se basa en la indagación de fuentes secundarias de información alrededor del objetivo planteado a través de la búsqueda en bases de datos académicas y gubernamentales, las cuales se examinan con el objetivo de extraer las estrategias exitosas de comunicación y participación ciudadana de los jóvenes. Se concluye que dichos espacios generan la participación de los grupos de interés desde la toma activa de decisiones y el aprovechamiento de espacios públicos. Además, se deben buscar estrategias más allá del uso de medios masivos de comunicación; orientándose a propiciar el diálogo, la escucha y la satisfacción de necesidades de interés social en los grupos de intervención.Universidad Autónoma del Caribe

Tool for Measuring the Influence of the Field of Knowledge on Entrepreneurial Intention among University Students

This paper aims to analyze a measurement tool allowing the identification of the differences that may exist between the factors and their relationships that affect the entrepreneurial intention of undergraduate students from related and non-business-related programs. This is to know what elements motivate to create a company for each group, and their degree of association, in order to design more effective educational strategies focused on their motivations. For this, a model was proposed, which was validated through the application of a self-administered questionnaire to undergraduate students of different careers, in Instituto Tecnológico Metropolitano (Medellín). It was found that personal attitudes have a stronger relationship with entrepreneurial intention in students of business-related programs, while perceived viability, perceived convenience, and entrepreneurial behavior have greater weight in students from non-affiliated programs. Thus, the courses focused on creativity in the first group, and the courses focused on the know-how in the second group would be more efficient in increasing the entrepreneurial intention

Research trends in the field of organisational management: A bibliometric analysis

Purpose: Studies into organisational management are considered key to understanding the characteristics of the organisational fabric in general, and administrative managers’ capacity for reflection is particularly relevant to achieving a more intricate and in-depth comprehension of the organisational context. Nonetheless, despite the importance of such studies, there is a lack of alignment in the specialised literature and no review articles that allow us to identify research trends in the field. The purpose of this paper is, thus, to identify the main research trends in the literature on organisational management. Design/Methodology: We conducted a bibliometric analysis with 457 articles following the PRISMA Statement guidelines, which is why we specified the inclusion and exclusion criteria, data sources, search strategy, and the data collection and selection processes we employed. Findings: The increasingly growing amount of research done on the topic is evidence of its significance. Using quality and quantity indicators, we were able to identify the most productive authors, journals, and countries in the field. Also, by means of a keyword analysis, we identified the most relevant research trends and classified them per year. According to the results of such analysis, organisational performance and organisational culture are currently the most influential topics, and themes related to transformational leadership are likely to be increasingly used in future research. Analysis and categorization of studies of digital marketing in small and medium enterprises

Purpose: To analyze and categorize the scientific production in the field of digital marketing in small and medium enterprises. Design/methodology/approach: We retrieved the bibliographic information of 294 publications in this field indexed in Scopus and employed technology-mining techniques and cluster analysis of keywords to gain insight into the most relevant trends in this research area. We conducted a keyword cleaning process to remove ambiguity, synonyms, and obvious results and employed our own Python scripts and the Bibliometrix package in the R programming language for the calculations. Findings: Our results paint a broad picture of this research area, highlighting its most important journals, countries, researchers, and keywords, as well as their interactions. We also identified and explained five thematic clusters: electronic commerce, social media, specific social media, internationalization, and brand. We found that social media, big data, search engine optimization, advertisement, internationalization, websites, and Facebook are hot research topics in this field.  Originality/value: This study offers updated information on the trends of the scientific production in said research field, covering a time window that goes up to the year 2021. This is beyond any traditional bibliometric analysis, and it reveals the structure of the knowledge in the field. This paper can be used as a reference point to define a future research agenda in this area
