Sovereign manifestations of life - an elemental part of life or a miracle?

Esta comunicación concluye que a causa de los fenómenos fundamentales éticos el ser humano está entregado mutua- y fundamentalmente. Y que de esto surge una exigencia ética. Las manifestaciones soberanas de vida son suspendidas en la situación de guerra, pero también están bajo presión en nuestra sociedad globalizada, donde constantemente tenemos que reservarnos y protegernos en contra de abusos. Sin embargo, la comunicación también concluye que la confianza fundamental todavía está en vigor como un elemento fundamental en la existencia y no sólo como un milagro que raramente aparece en la vida del individuo. La comunicación esta estructurada de la siguiente manera: Primero se explicará el análisis de Løgstrup sobre las manifestaciones soberanas de vida, con la mirada puesta especialmente en la confianza, así como también en la exigencia ética que acompaña a la existencia. A continuación se demostrará como las manifestaciones soberanas de vida son afectadas en la situación agravada, en la cual en la mayoría de los casos son suspendidas y la vida se convierte en algo insoportable. Después la comunicación implicará la interpretación que Bauman hace del análisis de Løgstrup para demostrar, como la suspensión de confianza no sólo ocurre en la situación agravada, en situación de guerra, sino que también ocurre en nuestro día a día en un mundo globalizado. Y como último se valorará la interpretación de Bauman y se cuestionará.It is important to understand the implications that a critical situation has in a human life. This paper focuses on what happens with the fundamental ethical conditions of a human life in a critical situation, here the situation of war. The paper will defend the following four thesis’: Firstly, The ethical demand and the sovereign manifestations of life – that is, the human life demands that we take care of the life of the other and this is the fact from which ethical demand arises – is a reality to which we have to react to. Secondly, the sovereign manifestations of life – e.g. the trust, veracity and mercy – are suspended en the critical situation. Thirdly, Zygmunt Bauman underestimates the fundamental character of the sovereign manifestations of life in his interpretation of the analysis that Knud Løgstrup makes on the critical situation. And finally, the fundamental trust still exists in a globalized world and therefore it is not a miracle when it appears. The paper is structured thusly: first, Løgstrup’s analysis of the sovereign manifestations of life is presented which a special focus on the fundamental ethical phenomenon of trust. Secondly, it is demonstrated how the sovereign manifestations of life are affected in the critical situation, and how they are almost always suspended and life is turned into something insufferable. Thirdly, the paper will present Bauman’s interpretation of Løgstrup in which Bauman makes clear that he thinks that the sovereign manifestations of life are suspended not only in the critical situation, that of war, but also in our daily life in this globalised world. Finally, this interpretation is evaluated and rejected

High cycle fatigue of ARMCO iron severely deformed by ECAP

The high-cycle fatigue behavior of ARMCO iron severely deformed by Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) at room temperature through route Bc until 8 passes, with an average grain size of ~365 nm, was studied and compared with the same material in the annealed state with an average grain size of ~72 µm. The fatigue limit of the 8 passes ECAPed sample increased with respect to the annealed material by more than 250% rising from 274 MPa to 717 MPa. Striations and dimpled relief were observed on the fracture surfaces of the fatigued ultrafine and coarse grain fatigue samples. The microstructure was characterized by Electron Backscattered Diffraction (EBSD) before and after the fatigue tests and it was observed in both samples an increment in the fraction of Low Angle Grain Boundaries (LAGB) at high number of cycles to failure. A texture analysis for the materials after the fatigue failure was done. Estudio del efecto de la adición de harina de alpiste sobre la calidad de galletas sin gluten

El alpiste es un cereal invernal cultivado en zonas de clima templado. Su elevado valor nutricional y la ausencia de gluten en su composición, lo convierten en un cereal con un alto potencial para la elaboración o enriquecimiento de productos horneados para celiacos. En el presente trabajo se han elaborado galletas sin gluten del tipo "sugar-snap" sustituyendo harina de arroz por harina de alpiste refinada o integral en dosis del 50% y 100%, con el fin de estudiar el efecto que genera la introducción de este cereal. Se estudió el comportamiento reológico de las diferentes masas. Asimismo, se evaluaron las propiedades físicas de las distintas galletas y se realizó un análisis sensorial. Los resultados obtenidos revelaron que la introducción de alpiste reduce considerablemente la consistencia de las masas. Sin embargo, el empleo de harina integrar hizo que la masa fuese más consistente que la obtenida con harina refinada. La introducción de alpiste supuso una reducción de la dureza y un aumento del factor de propagación de las galletas. Las galletas elaboradas con harina de alpiste fueron aceptadas por los consumidores, siendo las mejor valoradas aquellas que se realizaron con harina integral. Todo ello indica que el alpiste es un ingrediente alternativo en la elaboración de galletas sin gluten. No obstante, es necesario seguir investigando sobre sus propiedades funcionales y tecnológicas con el objeto de optimizar la formulación de los productos.Máster en Calidad, Desarrollo e Innovación de Alimento

Curs: 2022/2023El presente proyecto de innovación educativa expone una propuesta didáctica centrada en el teatro barroco español, para la asignatura de Lengua Castellana y Literatura en el curso de 1º de Bachillerato en horario vespertino. El proyecto consiste en la confección de una cuenta de Instagram dedicada a la realización de actividades relacionadas con el contenido propuesto. Las actividades grupales planteadas en esta unidad formarán una cuenta de Instagram a modo de portfolio digital, las cuales se realizarán haciendo uso de las distintas posibilidades que esta red social nos ofrece. Las actividades descritas consistirán en la creación de publicaciones con texto e imágenes, videos, comentarios, información de perfiles, etc, creando un proyecto que más tarde se presentará al resto de alumnos en clase. Este trabajo propone una metodología innovadora para la enseñanza de la literatura, implementando el enfoque por proyectos, basándose en el trabajo colaborativo y el autoaprendizaje. En adición, hace uso de la didáctica basada en las nuevas tecnologías y centrándose en la competencia digital. El uso de estas tiene como objetivo fomentar la motivación y dinamizar el proceso de aprendizaje en el aspecto literario de la asignatura. The sociology of the intellectual ones: A hanging task in México

Is there a sociology of intellectuals in Mexico? Definitely not! What little has been written about this social category still does not acquire the character of sociological expertise. It is appropriate to say it, but what has been written about the intellectuals (biographies, ideologies, functions and relations with the powers that be) has corresponded to other disciplines. In México, dominated two trends on the study of intellectuals: firstly, the scrutiny of the relationship they have had with the Prince in history and political science; another trend, or cultural journalism, has privileged the biographical review of intellectuals. Social capital between family businesses and business associations in Celaya, Guanajuato

This work is part of a comprehensive study on family businesses held in Celaya, Guanajuato Mexico (year 2011) with a sample of 343 interviews with owners or managers responsible. This study examines the specific relationship capital with family businesses with various business associations, as is supposedly the social purpose of these associations. The analysis is based on the open question: Does your business communication with business associations (CCE, COPARMEX, CANACINTRA ...)and how they perceive the relationship (positive and / or negative)? With it, you want to know what they think micro, small and medium-sized family relationships If there are business associations?, Who or who have such relationships? And do you think of these relationships?. The analysis is based primarily on social capital theory of Bourdieu. The study is mixed, predominantly qualitative and exploratory. Health services, discrimination and ethnic/racial status: A case study of the problem in México and Colombia

Reflecting about and making evidence the relevance of the relationship between ethnic/racial status and use of health services motivated this academic work. We did an approach that articulates theinformation about coverage, access and use of medical services in Colombia and Mexico, and its link with the phenomenon of discrimination, differential access, and poor health conditions of specific populations groups, based on ethnic/racial characteristics that hold afrodescendant and indigenous people. For that reason, this study evaluates the relationship between ethnic/racial status, income level, and use of medical services from racialized populations incomparison to social sectors with different ethnic/racial characteristics. We carried out this task developing severalfundamental aspects, the first, is the construction of a conceptual theoretical framework that describes and poses different models and approaches that explain which are the determinants of the use of medical services. Second, we show some of the elements that integrate the current system of social security of health in Mexico and Colombia. Third, we describe the more general socio-economic, demographic and health characteristics of the population, andwe assess some patterns of health such as the probabilities of doing use or do not of the medical services in the caseof afrodescendant and indigenous people
