This study deals with the use of modern techniques means system in criminal procedures number (96) for the year 2018, that its articles are going to be displayed to illustrate their legal provisions, in view of their importance and need in practice. In order to reach the most distinctive of these provisions as well as to find the shortcomings that have been encountered and the attempt to address them through making the recommendations and proposals which are necessary to achieve the contribution of scientific methods to modern information technology in facilitating litigation procedures in the courts. Therefore, this research has been divided into two sections, the first section is under the title of the use of modern technology in criminal procedures, in this section there are two cases, the first case is under the title of the definition of the modern technologies and their use in criminal proceedings and the second case is under the title of the characteristics of the use of modern technology in litigation proceedings. The second section deals with the legal provisions governing the use of modern technology in the investigation and criminal trial procedures, in this section there are four cases have been discussed, the first case is about the scope of the use of modern technology in criminal, the second case has discussed the legal guarantees to be observed when using modern technology, The third one is about the security of information which are recorded on the means of modern technology and the tools used in it and the recognition of its legal argument and the fourth case has explained the impact of modern technologies on the implementation of legal assistance with other countries. The conclusion of this research has been included the results and recommendations which have been abstracted by the researcher

Quality Assurance Model in Enhancing the Professional Development Content

    Get PDF
The purpose of this research is to identify aspects of the quality assurance model to develop high-quality professional development content. The research reviewed relevant literature to collect major processes and procedures quality assurers used and followed to enhance the quality of the training content. In addition, the research referred to a current model that has been used by researchers in a UAE governmental organization. The results introduce a comprehensive model that includes the overall quality assurance cycle, interaction with other content experts, the characteristics of high-quality content, procedures quality assurers and involved professionals should follow. The research recommended applying the proposed procedures and actions to place professionals in a well-structured quality assurance model that considers training needs, instructional designers and learners’ feedback, content experts and other involved professionals. This would ensure information and feedback is conveyed during content development and quality assurance process to address the requirements of the learners

Assessment of exogenous application of plant growth regulators on Cress seed germination and ?-Galactosidase activity

Plant growth regulators (PGRs) were involved in several types of abiotic stress responses by means of improving seed germination and modifying the growth and development of medicinally important Lepidium sativum via alleviating the negative effects of abiotic stresses. Therefore, the present research was carried out to investigate the effects of exogenous application of PGRson seed germination, protein content and ?-galactosidase activity of L. sativum. Germination of L. sativum seeds was monitored for a short interval after the start of incubation until growth became 100%. While cytokinin treatment showed a positive effect on seed germination more than Gibberellic acid (GA), salicylic acid (SA) produced a higher negative effect than auxins. Quantifying changes in total protein content during seed germination as influenced by PGRs revealed that all PGRs have to exert a positive effect arranged in the following order: SA ? auxin ? cytokinin ? GA. Parallel to changes in germination percentage and total protein content of seed, a negative effect was attainedon ?-galactosidase specific activity in response to PGRs with the following arrangement: SA ? auxin ? cytokinin ? GA.In conclusion, the present study proposed the potential importance of the type and magnitude of exogenously applied PGRs during the germination of easily or even more difficult-to-germinate seeds

Effects of gamma irradiation on the alkaloid content in seeds of Datura stramonium and the radiosensitivity of derived seedlings

Tropane alkaloids are a group of secondary metabolites occurring naturally in Solanaceae family as Atropa belladona, Datura stramonium, Mandragora officinalis, and Hyoscyamus niger. These molecules have valuable therapeutic applications, for example, atropine and hyoscyamine are utilized as antimuscarinic besides being stomach and intestinal diseases drugs. Plants of the Solanaceae family can provide a natural yet less expensive source of these compounds. Hitherto, in order to emphasize these metabolites biosynthesis, D. stramonium seeds were irradiated using a cobalt-60 source of gamma rays of 5 to 80 Gy and germinated in vitro on MS medium in growth controlled chamber. Mutagenesis of D. stramonium seeds was attempted aiming at obtaining plants from in vitro source that are genetically variable for enhancing the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, namely alkaloids. Results indicated that D. stramonium seeds exhibited a good radiosensitivity and the mutagen damage index GR (30-50) for D. stramonium was determined at 80 Gy. The Characterization of alkaloids (Atropine and hyoscyamine) was done by infrared spectroscopy which showed that alkaloids content of the irradiated seeds is altered by irradiation as the reference bands were not found with all doses used. In addition, seedlings grown from irradiated in vitro seeds exhibited remarkable morphological variations that varied based on the employed dose of gamma rays. These findings permitted the selection of the optimal irradiation dose (80 Gy) to induce mutations that are likely to prompt changes at genetic and metabolic level of the targeted alkaloids

Using a Sprinkler Fan System for Cooling Heat-stressed Goats under Desert Conditions.

Goats' health, productivity, and behavior are drastically altered during heat stress. Heat dissipation methods become inadequate when environmental temperatures exceed an animal's internal body temperature. Recently there has been increasingly interested in strategies to reduce thermal stress on livestock. Sprinklers may help reduce accumulated heat and improve goat heat dissipation. Ten indigenous adult dry does were randomly assigned to two treatment groups, the non-cooling group as a control and the treatment group with two sprinkler and fans cooling systems. Feed and water consumption, breathing rate, rectal, external, and ambient temperatures, and relative humidity were recorded daily. For two weeks of the investigation, body weight was recorded once a week. The results showed that the control group consumed more water, and the ratio of water drunk/ dry matter intake tended to be higher than the treatment counterparts. Neither group showed significant differences in dry matter intake. Respiratory rates were greater in the control group compared to the treatment counterpart. Despite the marked difference between climatic conditions of both groups' rooms, no significant difference in rectal body temperatures was found. The temperatures of the eyes and legs were not significantly different in either group. In contrast, the calculated correlation between the rectal temperature with the highest value was found for the negative relation with rump and neck temperature. In conclusion, spraying goats and continual air movement under dry weather alleviate heat stress and improves goat welfare
