Evaluasi Lanskap Kebun Raya Batam Berdasarkan Preferensi dan Persepsi Masyarakat Kota Batam

The Batam Botanic Gardens (Kerabat) is a form of green open space in Batam City aimed at plant conservation activities, research, education, tourism and environmental services. The development of Kerabat until the end of 2018 has only reached around 35% and in 2019 the physical construction has been suspended. Before continuing the development so that the results are in line with expectations that serve as a place for plant conservation, research, community education, and tourism are needed to evaluate the Kerabat landscape. This study aimed to evaluate the Kerabat landscape that had been built based on the preferences and perceptions of the people in Batam City by comparing photos of Kerabat with other botanical garden photos. The results showed the Kerabat landscape based on the preferences and perceptions of the people in Batam City still did not show the character of the botanical garden landscape. Based on the analysis of the landscape preferences of the botanical garden from the photos chosen, the botanical garden character must have a landscape character that is beauty, green, beautiful, shady, organized, neat, comfortable for visitors and has good supporting facilities. Respondents preferences regarding the function of Kerabat are more for the conservation of plants and tourist attractions

Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Beasiswa Lazismu Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang Menggunakan Metode Analitycal Hierarchy Process dan TOPSIS

Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) menyelenggarakan program bantuan pendidikan melalui beberapa beasiswa yang salah satunya adalah beasiswa LAZISMU. Kriteria yang ditetapkan oleh LAZISMU diantaranya adalah, indeks prestasi akademik (IPK), jumlah saudara kandung, keaktifan organisasi, prestasi/kejuaraan, dan penghasilan orang tua. Model yang digunakan adalah Multiple Attribute Decision Making (MADM) dengan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dan Technique for Order Preference By Similarity To Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel mahasiswa UNIMUS yang menerima beasiswa LAZISMU yang berjumlah 20 mahasiswa. Sistem pendukung keputusan beasiswa LAZISMU Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang menggunakan metode AHP dan TOPSIS berbasis WEB telah berhasil dibuat dengan hasil perhitungan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) didapatkan 3 nama teratas yaitu nasiro, hasbi, syifa dengan memiliki hasil tertinggi 0.9402, 0.9366, 0.9331. Pada hasil perhitungan TOPSIS didapatkan 3 nama teratas yaitu nasiro, hasbi, devia dengan hasil tertinggi 0.7538, 0.7384, 0.6149

ANALISIS FAKTOR PENDUKUNG INVESTASI UNTUK PENINGKATAN GAIRAH INVESTASI DI KOTA SEMARANG

The research aims to identify of invesment supporting in the city of Semarang. Variabbes of this research are institutional role, zoning of city, and infrastructure. The method used to survey onidentification and respons from entrepreneurs about potential investment supporting in the city ofSemarang. The analytical methods to identified of potential investment supporting and usedmultiple regresion. The results of the study are known that in investment supporting of SemarangCity are institutional role, zoning of city, and insfrastructure. But zoning of city is not influencesignificance. Results of significance are institutional role 0.049, zoning of city 0.188 andinfrastructure 0.018 base on the results account known that most influence is infrastructures. Theresults of the study are useful to provide recommendations to the government about system andprocedures to investments and improve several infrastructure of city to support invesment, thusincreasing the competitiveness of the city of Semarang.Keywords: institutional role, zoning of city, and insfrastructure

DRILL DAN REPETITION DALAM PELATIHAN BAHASA INGGRIS PEMILIK HOMESTAY DESA WISATA KANDRI SEMARANG

Homestay merupakan bagian penting promosi wisata lokal yang sangat membantu pengembanganpariwisata khususnya desa wisata. Hal ini harus didukung dengan kemampuan berbahasa Inggrispara pemilik homestay di desa tersebut yang seharusnya siap menerima wisatawan mancanegara yangdatang. Tetapi pada kenyataannya kemampuan mereka cenderung relatif rendah karena rata-ratamemiliki latar belakang pendidikan yang minim. Berdasarkan  pernyataan tersebut, kegiatan inimemfokuskan pada peningkatan daily conversation bahasa Inggris bagi pemilik homestay desa wisataKandri Gunungpati Semarang yang lokasinya berjarak lebih kurang 30 km dari Kampus UniversitasMuhammadiyah Semarang. Perumusan masalah yang mucul adalah adanya latar belakangpengalaman belajar bahasa Inggris kelompok pemilik homestay masih rendah karena latar belakangpendidikan mereka yang relatif minim. Kebanyakan para warga adalah lulusan Sekolah Menengahyang memiliki kemampuan bahasa Inggris sebatas yang mereka dapat di sekolah dan rata-rata sudahberumur sehingga mengalami kesulitan untuk mengingat kosakata baru. Berdasarkan permasalahantersebut, para warga membutuhkan materi atau cara pelatihan bahasa Inggris yang efektif danpelatihan manajemen untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan homestay yang memuaskan. Metodeyang digunakan adalah drill dan repetition, pelatihan, dan penyuluhan yaiitu; meningkatkan dailyconversation dalam bahasa Inggris untuk kelompok pemilik homestay Kandri Semarang, sertifikat bagipara pemilik homestay, panduan bahasa Inggris untuk pemilik homestay, peningkatan manajemenpelayanan homestay sehingga mampu menjadi homestay desa wisata yang profesional, dan pembuatanweb untuk promosi homestay desa wisata Kandri Gunungpati Semarang. Hasil yang diperoleh adalahadanya peningkatan kemampuan daily conversation bahasa Inggris para kelompok pemilik homestaydesa wisata Kandri Gunungpati Semarang, pembuatan buku panduan yang praktis dan efisien untukpraktek berbicara dan bercerita dalam bahasa Inggris bagi para kelompok pemilik homestay desawisata Kandri Gunungpati Semarang, dan peningkatan manajemen pelayanan homestay yangmemuaskan. PENGUJIAN LAGRANGE MULTIPLIER PADA SPESIFIKASI SPATIAL MODEL PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI INDONESIA

Beberapa model ekonometrika didasari pada teknik asimtotik dan terdapat tiga prinsip untuk pembangunan tes hipotesis parametrik. Pengujian tersebut diantaranya : (i) metode Wald, (ii) metode maximum likelihood ratio (LR) dan (iii) metode Lagrange Multiplier (LM). Terdapat uji diagnostik untuk penilaian model yang disebabkan dependensi spatial dan heterogenitas spatial sebagai aplikasi dari prinsip Lagrange Multiplier. Tujuan dari paper ini adalah mempertimbangkan penggunaan uji Lagrange Multiplier untuk menyusun spesifikasi model spatial pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan  adalah  produk  domestic  regional  bruto  (PDRB)  untuk  masing- masing provinsi serta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Republik Indonesia (BPS RI) tahun 2017. Berdasarkan hasil  pengujian  LM  mengindikasikan  bahwa  parameter  rho  dan  lamda (SARMA) berpengaruh signifikan. Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Madrasah Ibtidayah Duren dan Sabilul Huda Bandungan melalui Pelatihan Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Informasi

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Duren Village and Sabilul Huda Jimbaran Bandungan District Semarang Regency want to produce quality graduates. However, the competence of teachers is still conventional learning aids so the learning process is not optimal. To answer this problem, the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, Indonesia proposed information technology-based learning training activities for madrasah teachers. The purpose program is to strengthen human resources for teachers in MI Desa Duren and Sabilul Huda Jimbaran. The proposed program is divided into three learning schemes, (1) interactive presentation media, (2) online classroom learning, and (3) online learning evaluation. The results of this program are that the participants proved to be able to produce effective, elaborative, and interactive teaching materials based on information technology so that students are not bored and enthusiastic about following lessons in the classroom. It can be cancluded the program with the theme "Strengthening Teacher Competencies Through Information Technology-Based Learning Training" can overcome problems in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Duren Village and Sabilul Huda Jimbaran Bandungan District Semarang Regency

Penguatan wawasan wasathiyah khatib muda di Wonogiri sebagai respons terhadap kondisi pandemi Covid-19

[Bahasa]: Khatib berperan penting dalam memberikan informasi dan khazanah keislaman kepada jamaah shalat Jumat. Selayaknya, khatib menyampaikan materi khotbah yang selektif, tidak mengandung unsur SARA, radikalisme, dan fundamentalisme. Oleh karena itu diperlukan metode dan pemilihan maddah khotbah yang lugas dan terarah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para khatib muda tentang pentingnya konsep wasathiyah, khususnya dalam merespons pandemi Covid-19. Respons yang terlalu longgar atau terlalu ekstrem terhadap pandemi dapat berakibat kepada ketidaknyamanan masyarakat. Khatib muda menjadi salah satu pihak yang berperan dalam memciptakan kenyamanan di tengah pandemi ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Participatory Action Research dengan teknik ceramah, diskusi, dan evaluasi. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan para peserta memperoleh manfaat dan wawasan baru dalam hal menyikapi pandemi Covid-19, sehingga memiliki referensi materi khotbah yang washatiyah. Khotib muda menjadi lebih memahami rukun dan syarat dalam berkhotbah sehingga mampu menyikapi pandemi Covid-19 secara proporsional sesuai pemahaman agama yang wasathiyah. Kata Kunci: wasathiyah, khatib, pandemi Covid-19  [English]:  Khatib is significant in providing information and Islamic knowledge to the Friday prayer pilgrims. Appropriately, khatib delivers selective preaching material and does not contain elements of SARA, radicalism, and foundationalism. Therefore, a straightforward and directed method and selection of preaching maddah is needed. This community service activity aims to provide young khatibs with the importance of the concept of wasathiyah, especially in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. Too lax or extreme a response to the pandemic can result in public discomfort. Young Khatib is one of the parties who play a role in creating comfort in the midst of this pandemic. The method used in this service was Participatory Action Research through lecture, discussion, and evaluation techniques. The results show that the participants felt new benefits and insights in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic, so they had a reference for washatiyah preaching material. As a result, the young Khotib became more understanding of the pillars and conditions of preaching. They could also respond to the Covid-19 pandemic proportionally according to a wasathiyah religious understanding. Keywords: wasathiyah, preacher, Covid-19 pandemi
