The aim of this study is to explain the developmental case of pre-school children's writing skills in the light of writing development hypotheses. Case study method, which is a type of qualitative research, was used in the study. 36-72 months old 139 children (75 female, 64 male) attending three different kindergartens in 2010-2011 academic year formed the study group of the study. Writing samples of the children in the study group were collected by the researchers. The samples were analyzed through Sulzby (1986) writing development theory. At the end of the research, it was concluded that in the writing samples of the children, based on the properties of writing development theories, there was an increase in the use of letters and letter clusters and a decrease in the use of pictures and scribbles as the ages of the children rise

Baydas Onlu, Ozlem/0000-0002-5812-7085WOS: 000409235700010This study proposes a model for determining preservice teachers' intentions to use information and communication technology (ICT) in future lessons. Data were collected from 21 preservice teachers via interview in the first stage of the study and from 2904 preservice teachers from 16 different universities via a designed scale in the second stage of the study. Data were analyzed through structural equation modeling. A model capable of explaining 85% of variance in preservice teachers' intentions to use ICT in their future lessons was developed. Perceived usefulness (PU) was seen to have the highest influence on their intentions, while facilitating conditions, social influence, and anxiety had a low direct effect. In addition, these factors were found to have a high indirect influence on intention through other factors such as PU, perceived ease-of-use, and efficacy
