The Association Between Sanitation, Hygiene, and Stunting in Children Under Two-Years (an Analysis of Indonesia's Basic Health Research, 2013)

Background: This study aims to identify the relationship between sanitation, hygiene, and stunting in children under two-years in Indonesia. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study that examined 9,688 children under the age of two. We obtained data from Indonesia's Basic Health Research paper that was released in 2013 and applied multiple logistic regression analysis. The prevalence of stunting amongst children under two-years in 2013 was 33.3%. Results: Our analysis showed that stunting is closely related to low birth weight, age, gender, exclusive breastfeeding, socioeconomic status, garbage removal, and waste management. Appropriate sanitation and hygiene had a significant impact on stunting amongst children under two-years in Indonesia, with waste management and low birth weight being the most important indicators. Conclusions: Nutrition, socioeconomic status, and a healthy environment are key to ensure children under two-years meet the recommended growth standards

Probing the gateway to superheavy nuclei in cranked relativistic Hartree-Bogoliubov theory

The cranked relativistic Hartree+Bogoliubov theory has been applied for a systematic study of the nuclei around 254No, the heaviest nuclei for which detailed spectroscopic data are available. The deformation, rotational response, pairing correlations, quasi-particle and other properties of these nuclei have been studied with different relativistic mean field (RMF) parametrizations. For the first time, the quasi-particle spectra of odd deformed nuclei have been calculated in a fully self-consistent way within the framework of the RMF theory. The energies of the spherical subshells, from which active deformed states of these nuclei emerge, are described with an accuracy better than 0.5 MeV for most of the subshells with the NL1 and NL3 parametrizations. However, for a few subshells the discrepancy reach 0.7-1.0 MeV. E-Commerce to Improve Homemaker Productivity (Women Entrepreneur Empowerment at Meruya Utara, Kembangan District, West Jakarta, Indonesia)

Saat ini banyak ibu rumah tangga memiliki bisnis sampingan yang sesuai dengan keterampilan dan hobi mereka. Adapun tujuan dari bisnis sampingan tersebut adalah untuk membantu kebutuhan keuangan rumah tangga mereka. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan bahwa ibu rumah tangga yang juga pengusaha perempuan memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga. Namun demikian, terdapat kesulitan dari ibu rumah tangga dalam memasarkan produk dan layanan mereka. Pengabdian ini melaksanakan sosialisasi terkait cara membuat akun e-commerce dan menggunakannya sebagai alternatif untuk menjual produk dan layanan mereka. Selain itu, hasil dari kegiatan layanan masyarakat Internasional ini adalah bahwa ibu rumah tangga dapat menjual produk dan layanan mereka melalui e-commerce. Menurut hasil survei pada kegiatan sosialisasi ini, diketahui bahwa hambatan bagi ibu rumah tangga adalah masih rendahnya pendidikan mereka dimana 65% dari mereka memiliki pendidikan sekolah menengah. Juga, kepemilikan aplikasi internet banking dan mobile banking masih rendah, yaitu 35%. Dengan demikian, kepemilikan yang rendah atas aplikasi internet banking dan mobile banking membuat mereka kesulitan untuk menjual produk dan layanannya melalui e-commerce. Semua peserta sosialisasi menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat dan menambah pengetahuan mereka. Pelaksanaan Program Jaminan Persalinan (Jampersal) di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Buol

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of maternity insurance at district health office in Buol regency in 2012. This study was a qualitative study using case study approach. The samples in this study were the parties involved in the implementation of maternity insurance at district health office in Buol regency and at the health center. The sampling was conducted by purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 23 people.The results showed that during the phase of funding: the distribution of funds were lately paid i.e. at the end of 2012; the amount of service rates was 25% deductions for service providers; and for fund management, it was found that the process of verification of the claimed file was very difficult. During the phase of care benefits package in terms of availability of health care, providers became an obstacle in the implementation of the maternity insurance. During the phase of indicator of success in terms of supervision, there was a lack of supervision from the program manager of maternity insurance that opened some problems in the implementation of maternity insurance in Buol district. From this study it can be concluded that the phase of funding, benefits package services, and indicators of success still need attention. This study suggests the District Government of Buol to re-visit the policy decisions regarding the amount of fees that had been set for the implementation of the maternity insurance. To make maternity insurance to be implemented optimally, the midwives need to perform additional services that can be implemented well. Buols district health offices is expected to optimize the implementation of maternity insurance by improving the mechanism of disbursement of verification process and increasing the supervision by the program manager of maternity insurance. And for service providers in order to implement the procedures of maternity insurance proccess, they should take into account the condition of the community served.Keywords: Maternity Insurance (Jampersal), Public Health Service, Qualitativ

User Story Software Estimation:a Simplification of Software Estimation Model with Distributed Extreme Programming Estimation Technique

Software estimation is an area of software engineering concerned with the identification, classification and measurement of features of software that affect the cost of developing and sustaining computer programs [19]. Measuring the software through software estimation has purpose to know the complexity of the software, estimate the human resources, and get better visibility of execution and process model. There is a lot of software estimation that work sufficiently in certain conditions or step in software engineering for example measuring line of codes, function point, COCOMO, or use case points. This paper proposes another estimation technique called Distributed eXtreme Programming Estimation (DXP Estimation). DXP estimation provides a basic technique for the team that using eXtreme Programming method in onsite or distributed development. According to writer knowledge this is a first estimation technique that applied into agile method in eXtreme Programming
