The Influence of Principal's Democratic Leadership Style on Teacher Performance

Teacher competencies play an important role in determining the success of an institution. To improve teacher performance, the principal should utilize a leadership style that promotes teachers’ competence, growth, and development. This study analyzed the effect of a principal’s democratic leadership style on teacher performance. A systematic review was conducted by analyzing articles on related topics published between 2017 and 2022 and accessed from lens.org, Google Scholar, and Science Direct. The results pointed out that the democratic leadership style gives broad authority to subordinates. Leaders who use a democratic leadership style delegate duties and responsibilities well to their subordinates, and all members are invited to participate in discussions or propose their opinions on strategies directed toward the common goal. FAKTOR- FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DISMENOREA PADA SISWA KELAS XI JURUSAN KEPERAWATAN DI SMK SASMITA JAYA 1 PAMULANG

Dismenorea merupakan keadaan dimana timbul rasa nyeri yang hebat pada saat mentruasi (Kusmiran, 2013). Wanita usia reproduktif akan sering mengeluhkan dismenorea yang mengakibatkan penderita untuk istirahat dan meninggalkan pekerjaan atau kegiatan sehari-hari dalam beberapa jam atau beberapa hari. Penelitian ini untuk Mengidentifikasi Hubungan Hubungan Menarche, Riwayat Keluarga, Aktivitas Fisik, dan Status Gizi dengan Kejadian Dismenorea pada Siswa Kelas IX Jurusan Keperawatan di SMK Sasmita Jaya 1 Pamulang Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analitik dengan pendekatan Cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan teknik total sampling. Dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara menarche dengan kejadian dismenorea yang artinya (p-value > signifikan), hasil uji satistik fishe Fisher's Exact Test p- menunjukkan bahwa nilai value 0.025 terdapat hubungan menarche dengan kejadian dismenorea, p-value =0.002 yang artinya ada hubungan riwayat keluarga dengan kejadian dismenorea. P-value =0.001 Adanya hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian dismenorea, p=0.290 tidak ada hubungan status gizi dengan kejadian dismenorea terdapat hubungan menarche dengan kejadian dismenorea ada hubungan riwayat keluarga dengan kejadian dismenorea, Adanya hubungan aktivitas fisik dengan kejadian dismenorea, tidak ada hubungan status gizi dengan kejadian dismenorea. Diharapkan siswa dapat mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang dapat meningkatkan kejadian dismenorea dan dapat peangan yang tepat guna meringankan dan mengobati dismenorea

Fabrication of Ceramic Alumina Tube by Extrusion Method

Ceramic tubes are widely used as process equipment in various industries. One of the materials used as raw material for ceramic tubes is alumina. Materials are processed by vacuum extruder to obtain products with constant cross section. The characteristics of the products depend on the amount and chemical composition of the crystals formed. The formation of mullite as the main mineral will increase thermal shock resistance because mullite has a low expansion coefficient. Composition B with the percentage of 50% alumina, 30% kaolin, 10% clay and 10% MgO provide the best temperature shock resistance.
