Volume Integral Equations for the Study of Electromagnetic Scattering by Bi-anisotropic Objects
In this Master’s thesis volume integral equations based on polarization current densities and potentials, i.e. JM-formulation and AVFU-formulation are developed for bianisotropic scatterers. The volume integral equations are discretized and converted into a system of linear equations using the method of moments. The system of equations for the JM-formulation is solved using the generalized minimal residual method (GMRES) and multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) is also applied. Whereas the AVFU-formulation is still under development and GMRES and MLFMA are not implemented; thereby limiting the problem domain that can be analysed. Numerical results are compared to existing model problems solved using either the volume integral equations for the fields, i.e. the EH-formulation, flux densities, i.e. the DB-formulation or the Mie series solutions. The scattering cross-section of simple scatterers like an isotropic sphere to complex scatterers like double negative chiral and metamaterial spheres is investigated.
From the numerical point of view the essence of JM- and AVFU- formulation is discretization using low order basis functions. The polarization current densities in the JM-formulation are expanded using piecewise constant basis functions and Galerkin’s technique is applied to test the equations. The scalar and vector potentials in the AVFU-formulation are expanded using the scalar interpolatory nodal basis functions and point-matching technique is applied to test the equations.
An important purpose of the Master’s thesis is to provide an academic document that can be easily followed to formulate and numerically implement volume integral equations based on fields, flux densities, polarization current densities or potentials. To achieve this goal the overall implementation from scratch is presented for the AVFUformulation

These experts offered a variety of conceptual tools with which to look at the particular complexities associated with higher education in developing countries. The meeting was convened by the authors of this paper. This policy brief builds upon and reflects on the discussion at this meeting, but is not a meeting report, per se
Dinamika Pembauran Hukum Islam Di Palembang: Mengurai Isi Undang-undang Simbur Cahaya
Jurisprudence is one of the disciplines that become facts of history in appreciating the local culture. In this context, true Islamic law should be interpreted as a process, not a product monumental. Islamic law has characteristics very different from the law in the sense of modern jurisprudence. Islamic law was developed based on the revelation, in addition to human thought and also colored by local feature in addition to the universal characteristics. This article will discuss the dynamics of assimilation of Islamic law in Palembang with a case study Undang-Undang Simbur Cahaya.

Transformation of the concept and the idea of human rights values to students early on of course be necessary to do, given the new generations is what will be the successor to the perpetrators of the world. It is expected that all students have the same attention to human values.
The Influence of Customers Involvement and Brand Trust on Decisions of Purchase of Products Through Intention to Buy as Intervienning Variable (Study on Eiwa Instagram Account)
Firms that want to survive have to compete more in formulating the strategy of offering and selling the company's products, and advanced companies are companies that are able to keep up with the times, customer behavior changes, and of course technological advancement. This research aims to know to know the influence of customer involvement and brand trust of buying interest and purchasing decisions on Eiwa instagram account. The type of research used in this study is quantitative approach. The quantitative approach bases the study of empirical rational principles. The quantitative approach bases the study of empirical rational principles. Before doing research the researcher must find the problem and hypothesis to be tested based on specified criteria and path analysis tool that is Smart PLS to know variable relation. The result of the research shows that for direct influence, customer involvement has a positive and significant effect on buying interest, brand trust has positive but not significant effect on buying interest, customer involvement has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision, brand trust has positive and significant influence on purchasing decision product, while buying interest has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decision of Brand Eiwa product. As for indirect influence, buying interest may mediate the influence of Customer Engagement on product purchasing decisions positively and significantly while Buy Interest can not mediate the influence of Brand Trust on Brand Eiwa product purchase decision positively and significantly
Aplastic Anemia: Clinicohaematological Features, Treatment and Outcome Analysis
Objective: To determine the clinicohaematological features, treatment and outcome of children diagnosed with aplastic anemia at a single institution.
Study Design: Observational study.
Place and Duration of Study: The Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, from January 1999 till December 2008.
Methodology: Medical records of children aged less than 15 years of age diagnosed with aplastic anemia were reviewed. Clinicohaematological features, treatment and its response to therapy and outcome were recorded. Results were described in percentages.
Results: Ninety patients were diagnosed to have aplastic anemia (AA); 65 were male during the study period. Age ranged from 1 to 15 years. Fever in 65 patients (72.2%), pallor in 53 (58.8%), skin bleeding in 49 (54.4%) and epistaxis in 31(34.4%) were the most common and frequent presenting features. Congenital (Fanconi’s) anemia was found in 15 (16.6%) and acquired idiopathic in 75 (83.4%) of patients. Very severe aplastic anemia (VSAA) was seen in 29 (32.2%), 26 (28.9%) had severe AA and 17 (18.9%) had moderate AA. Eight patients (8.9%) underwent haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), 12 (13.3%) received immunosuppressive therapy (IST) and 70 patients (77.7%) received other and supportive therapy. Five (62.5%) patients showed complete response to HSCT and 3 (37.5%) failed to engraft. IST showed complete response in 3 (25%), partial response in 5 (41.6%) and no response in 4 (33.3%). Twenty two patients (24.4%) expired either due to infection in 16 (72.7%, fungal in 6, bacterial in 10) and intracranial haemorrhage in 6 (27.3%) cases.
Conclusion: Majority of cases with AA were acquired and idiopathic in etiology. VSAA and SAA were frequent. Response to HSCT and IST was sub-optimal

Successful use of rituximab in Evans syndrome and refractory immune thrombocytopenic purpura
Immune cytopenias are mediated by auto-antibodies produced by B-lymphocytes. Conventional treatment of immune-mediated haematological disorders includes immunosuppression with steroids and other immune modulating therapies and in some refractory cases, splenectomy. Response rates to conventional and second-line agents are variable and a proportion of patients require lifelong immunosuppression to maintain the disease in remission. Rituximab, an anti- CD 20 monoclonal antibody has gained widespread acceptance in the management of B-cell malignancies. Additionally, it has been used to treat the disorders associated with autoantibody production. We report herein the successful use of Rituximab in the treatment of two patients with autoimmune cytopenias one had Evan\u27s syndrome and other had refractory immune thrombocytopenic purpura. Both of these patients are still in remission at 16 and 25 months following treatment
Desalination Of The Brackish Water Using Surfactant Modified Zeolite (Smz)
The intrusion of seawater in the beach area of Bandar Lampung and the Eastern beach of Lampung causes many problems for people because it turns the water into a brackish water. The brackish water is the water whose salinity is between 0.5 ppt until 17 ppt. The brackish water cannot be used for drinking, cooking or washing because the maximum degree of salinity for such purposes is 0.5 ppt. Desalination of brackish water is a process of reducing the salinity of a brackish water. In this research, natural zeolite from Lampung was modified with surfactant to become surfactant-modified zeolite (SMZ). It was used as ion
exchanger in the desalination of a brackish water. The result showed the salinity of the brackish water could be reduced to 52% from the initial value. The best results were obtained at the contact time of 4 hours and the initial salinity 0.863 ppt
