Transaminase Enzyme and Liver Histological Profile of Mice Administered Extract of Pegagan (Centella Asiatica (L.) Urban)
The purpose of this study was to determine whether pegagan caused toxic effects on the liver. This study used completely randomized design with four treatments, ie 125, 200, 275 mg/kg BW and control, each treatment consisting of six replicates. Variables observed were the level of GPT, GOT and histological profile of liver. GPT and GOT levels were analyzed by analysis of single variant of 0.05. Histological picture of the liver include central venous dilation, inflammation, and damage to the structure of liver cells were performed by descriptive evaluation. Pegagan leaf extract did not show significant effect on GPT and GOT level in the liver of mice, whereas the histology results did not reveal any visible damage to liver cells in each dose. Administration of pegagan extract up to dose of 275 mg/kg BW was safe and would not cause damage to the liver cells
Monte Carlo Simulation of 2-D Quantum Gravity as Open Dynamically Triangulate Random Surfaces
We describe a Monte Carlo procedure for the simulation of dynamically
triangulate random surfaces with a boundary (topology of a disk). The algorithm
keeps the total number of triangles fixed, while the length of the boundary is
allowed to fluctuate. The algorithm works in the presence of matter fields. We
here present results for the pure gravity case. The algorithm reproduces the
theoretical expectations.Comment: LaTeX file, 16 pages, 7 LaTeX figures, preprints CERN-TH.7028/93,

Perlindungan terhadap Gaji Dosen Swasta Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2005 Tentang Guru dan Dosen
The article 52 verse (3), the Teacher and Lecturer\u27s Act Number 14 Year 2005, says that a lecturer who works ina private Institution isgiven a payment base dont he work agreement or collective labor agreement. It shows that the private lecturer\u27s payment will beregulated basically on the two party\u27s agreement, the lecturerandthe private institution. Although thereare some provisions that regulate about the payment\u27details from the Act, some questions will come up In the legal protection to the private lecturer in getting good payment, for example "howisthe payment regulation based on the work agreement?", "howisthe protection to the private lecturer\u27s payment?
Masa Depan Arbitrase sebagai Mekanisme Penyelesaian Perselisihan Hubungan Industrial di Indonesia
The unresolved clash between the employees and employers may result a fire or resignation. Generally, it makes the unexpected condition worse for both. In the case of a fire, the employees will face a bad future without job. The research is focused on the arbitrary possibility as a solution for their need to solve the clash between employees and employers. It is done through normative and comparative approach, and secondary data analysis. The result shows that an arbitrary has three characteristics; they are simple, fast and cheap, which is suitable to maintain a good working relationship in Indonesia. Yet, it has some weaknesses that mainly relate to expense and fee for the arbitrary team paid by those parties. Thus, this arbitrary mechanism is unlikely to be used in majority
Hakim sebagai Pembentuk Hukum dalam Pandangan Pragmatis Realisme Bagi Kebebasan Hakim Indonesia dalam Pengambilan Putusan
The freedom of lndoriesian Judges in making decision is still asked at this moment. Judge has the duty to maintain justice. He has to have the freedom to do his duty. Yet, the Indonesian Judge is facing some internal and external problems. In thelegal reasoning of Pragmatis Realism believes that the Judicial decision-making is a creative activity, so it needed a qualified thinking from the judge that can be supported by the high technology.Judge is not only ascertain and apply the law also must be makers of law. The legal reasoning of Pragmat is Realismis been hoping to make a good solution thatis related to the freedom of Indonesian Judge
Non-Supersymmetric Seiberg Duality, Orientifold QCD and Non-Critical Strings
We propose an electric-magnetic duality and conjecture an exact conformal
window for a class of non-supersymmetric U(N_c) gauge theories with fermions in
the (anti)symmetric representation of the gauge group and N_f additional scalar
and fermion flavors. The duality exchanges N_c with N_f -N_c \mp 4 leaving N_f
invariant, and has common features with Seiberg duality in N=1 SQCD with SU or
SO/Sp gauge group. At large N the duality holds due to planar equivalence with
N=1 SQCD. At finite N we embed these gauge theories in a setup with D-branes
and orientifolds in a non-supersymmetric, but tachyon-free, non-critical type
0B string theory and argue in favor of the duality in terms of boundary and
crosscap state monodromies as in analogous supersymmetric situations. One can
verify explicitly that the resulting duals have matching global anomalies.
Finally, we comment on the moduli space of these gauge theories and discuss
other potential non-supersymmetric examples that could exhibit similar
dualities.Comment: 45 pages, 1 figur
Analysis Compressive Strength of Solid Waste Recycling Battery As a Partially Replacing Sand in Concrete
The formulation of the problem is whether recycled solid waste is used as a building material to replace some of the sand in making concrete. This study aims to determine the optimum compressive strength of normal concrete by using recycled solid waste as a substitute for some sand. This study uses a cylindrical shaped test object with a diameter of 10 cm and a height of 20 cm. Solid waste batteries are used with variations of 0%, 10%, 12.5% and 15% for each specimen. Fc’20 MPa, W / C 0.55, and 12 + 2 cm slump compressive strength, with 48 samples (3 specimens for each variation for 7.14,28,28 and 56 days). The results showed that 10% variation of solid waste recycling battery reached the average concrete compressive strength is 22.08 MPa; 12,5% variation of solid waste recycling battery is 25.69MPa and 15% variation of solid waste recycling battery is 18.47 Mpa. Optimum compressive strength with 12,5% variation of solid waste recycling battery is 25.69 Mpa.
