This research is intended to untangle hoax in the lens microscopic of moral as representation of our face. The researchers employed qualitative descriptive. To collect data, the researchers utilised interview and documentation. Result and discussion in this research showed that all the participants who have involved in this research comprehended about hoax terminology. Only most of them who have checked the validity about the news. Critical thinking is a panacea to test a news which is acquired. Hoax is amoral attitude. As a common, all the participant believes national media did not create a hoax for certain reason. As a result, critical literacy to audiences must be implemented by sustainable in order that the they think critically and they have knowledge to distinguish a hoax or not

A Hierarchal Planning Framework for AUV Mission Management in a Spatio-Temporal Varying Ocean

The purpose of this paper is to provide a hierarchical dynamic mission planning framework for a single autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) to accomplish task-assign process in a limited time interval while operating in an uncertain undersea environment, where spatio-temporal variability of the operating field is taken into account. To this end, a high level reactive mission planner and a low level motion planning system are constructed. The high level system is responsible for task priority assignment and guiding the vehicle toward a target of interest considering on-time termination of the mission. The lower layer is in charge of generating optimal trajectories based on sequence of tasks and dynamicity of operating terrain. The mission planner is able to reactively re-arrange the tasks based on mission/terrain updates while the low level planner is capable of coping unexpected changes of the terrain by correcting the old path and re-generating a new trajectory. As a result, the vehicle is able to undertake the maximum number of tasks with certain degree of maneuverability having situational awareness of the operating field. The computational engine of the mentioned framework is based on the biogeography based optimization (BBO) algorithm that is capable of providing efficient solutions. To evaluate the performance of the proposed framework, firstly, a realistic model of undersea environment is provided based on realistic map data, and then several scenarios, treated as real experiments, are designed through the simulation study. Additionally, to show the robustness and reliability of the framework, Monte-Carlo simulation is carried out and statistical analysis is performed. The results of simulations indicate the significant potential of the two-level hierarchical mission planning system in mission success and its applicability for real-time implementation

    Bioactive Lactoferrin-Derived Peptides

Lactoferrin (LF) is a member of the transferrin family that is a cationic iron-binding protein. It is an 80-kDa glycoprotein that is found in many secretions in the body and is highly present in milk and colostrums. It exerts antibacterial effects and has a wide range of biological activities. Moreover, it is considered as a precursor of different peptides that have multifunctional bioactivities. During the last decade, several applications of LF and its peptides have been discovered, which has led to its commercial production. Therefore, LF and its peptides can offer a variety of specialized ingredients that can be tailored to meet the needs of natural food preservatives and functional food ingredients

Dynamic Analysis of Splash-zone Crossing Operation for a Subsea Template

    Get PDF
Subsea templates are steel structures used to support subsea well components. Normally, offshore crane vessels are employed to install them to the target location on the seabed. Crossing the splash-zone during the lowering of a subsea template is considered the most critical phase during the installation due to slamming loads and needs to be studied to provide the operational weather criterion during the planning phase. In this study, dynamic response analysis has been carried out to evaluate the allowable sea states for the plash-zone crossing phase of the subsea templates. The numerical model of the lifting system, including the crane vessel and the subsea template, is firstly built in the state-of-the-art numerical program SIMA-SIMO. Then, dynamic analysis with time-domain simulations is carried out for the lifting system under various sea states. The disturbed wave field due to the shielding effects from the installation vessel is considered when calculating the hydrodynamic forces on the template. Statistical modelling of the dynamic responses from different wave realizations is used to estimate the extreme responses of various sea states. The application of the generalized extreme value distribution and Gumbel distribution in fitting the extreme responses is discussed. Moreover, the influence of the shielding effects from the vessel, as well as the influence of the changing size of the suction anchor on the hydrodynamic responses and the allowable sea states are studied.publishedVersio

Human voice can be preserved and analysed through realised sound waves with the help of ELAN software. This ELAN software supports language or language analysis segment sound into tangibles and saves them in a file in the ELAN feature itself. The method used in this training is triangulation, with the umbrella being descriptive qualitative. Observation technique to find out what the participants’ desire. The interview technique used by the servant to determine the representation of the respondent's mind after attending this training. Finally, the documentation used to document the movement that has been carried out is by taking photos along with the activity. The results and discussion obtained from the observation are that respondents, especially students and language activists, are enthusiastic about learning more deeply about the operation of this ELAN device. Meanwhile, based on the results of interviews, it is known that the ELAN software is a new thing and can be integrated into matters relating to language documentation in the Balongsari area itself. Documentation of this training is photos during the training event. After this training, the devotee observed that the respondents were interested in learning language transcription technologies such as ELAN
