    MM DialogueGAT- A Fusion Graph Attention Network for Emotion Recognition using Multi-model System

    Emotion recognition is an important part of human-computer interaction and human communication information is multi-model. Despite advancements in emotion recognition models, certain challenges persist. The first problem pertains to the predominant focus in existing research on mining the interaction information between modes and the context information in the dialogue process but neglects to mine the role information between multi-model states and context information in the dialogue process. The second problem is in the context information of the dialogue where the information is not completely transmitted in a temporal structure. Aiming at these two problems, we propose a multi-model fusion dialogue graph attention network (MM DialogueGAT). To solve the problem 1, the bidirectional GRU mechanism is used to extract the information from each model. In the multi-model information fusion problem, different model configurations and different combinations use the cross-model multi-head attention mechanism to establish a multi-head attention layer. Text, video and audio information are used as the main and auxiliary modes for information fusion. To solve the problem 2, in the temporal context information extraction problem, the GAT graph structure is used to capture the context information in the mode. The results show that our model achieves good results using the IMEOCAP datasets

    Apple Tree Responses to Deficit Irrigation Combined with Periodic Applications of Particle Film or Abscisic Acid

    The objective of this study was to determine if the application of two antitranspirant compounds would moderate water deficit stress effects on physiological responses of “Granny Smith”, “Royal Gala” and “Golden Delicious” apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) trees on MM106 rootstock that occur during deficit irrigation. Uniform trees were grown in pots under water supply regimes of 30%, 60%, and 80% depletion of available water (DAW) before irrigation to runoff and received applications of kaolin particle film (PF) or abscisic acid (ABA) at 0, 30 and 60 days. At 120 days, genotype and deficit irrigation affected nearly all leaf traits, but antitranspirant treatment had no significant effects. As the % DAW increased, the net photosynthetic rate (Pn), transpiration rate (T), stomatal conductance, leaf water and pressure potential, variable-to-maximal chlorophyll fluorescence, leaf number, and leaf N, P and K contents were reduced. A significant genotype by deficit irrigation interaction was evident on T, water use efficiency (WUE), and leaf osmotic pressure potential. A significant deficit irrigation by antitranspirant interaction was evident on only leaf Pn, with PF and ABA reducing it at 30% DAW and only PF reducing it at 80% DAW. However, the periodic use of PF or ABA during deficit irrigation did not alleviate most physiological effects of water deficit stress due to deficit irrigation

La richesse totale varie entre un maximum de 24 espèces dans les steppes halophiles et un minimum de 14 espèces dans les steppes à Alfa. L’abondance des différentes espèces varie d’une formation végétale à une autre. Gallerida cristata est l’espèce la plus abondante dans toutes les formations végétales sauf au niveau des steppes à Alfa où c’est Gallerida teklae qui est la plus abondante

    On the equivalence of strong formulations for capacitated multi-level lot sizing problems with setup times

    Several mixed integer programming formulations have been proposed for modeling capacitated multi-level lot sizing problems with setup times. These formulations include the so-called facility location formulation, the shortest route formulation, and the inventory and lot sizing formulation with (l,S) inequalities. In this paper, we demonstrate the equivalence of these formulations when the integrality requirement is relaxed for any subset of binary setup decision variables. This equivalence has significant implications for decomposition-based methods since same optimal solution values are obtained no matter which formulation is used. In particular, we discuss the relax-and-fix method, a decomposition-based heuristic used for the efficient solution of hard lot sizing problems. Computational tests allow us to compare the effectiveness of different formulations using benchmark problems. The choice of formulation directly affects the required computational effort, and our results therefore provide guidelines on choosing an effective formulation during the development of heuristic-based solution procedures

    A better understanding of seawater reverse osmosis brine: Characterizations, uses, and energy requirements

    Before investing in any optimizing technology for the recovery and reuse of brine resources, it is of importance to study the full physicochemical characteristics of the brine. In the current study, the physicochemical characteristics of Qatari seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) brine were fully investigated. The current study intends to lead to a better understanding of the nature of SWRO brine given the economic significance for the country that can be benefited from recycling and reusing various components. The characterization includes physical and chemical composition, as well as mineralogical and morphological investigation. The chemical analysis revealed that the seawater reverse osmosis brine contains various valuable elements and metals such as Ca (77120 mg/L), Na (343500 mg/L), Li (238800 mg/L), Ba (3.3 mg/L), Cs (3.4 mg/L), Fe (30.5 mg/L) and Mg (238800 mg/L). The pH of the brine was 8, while the electrical conductivity and salinity were 90.56 mS/cm and 61.4 ppt, respectively. The scanning electron microscopy-energy-dispersive and energy-dispersive X-ray revealed the placement of various valuable metals on the salt surface. X-ray diffraction showed eight XRD peaks. Interestingly, one peak at 2? of 31.7ďż˝ is significantly more intense than the other seven peaks obtained, while all the eight peaks are extremely narrow. The Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy analysis of the brine sample showed the presence of various functional groups. The narrow and intense peak around 1408 cm?1 confirms the presence of the S[dbnd]O bond in the brine sample, which could correspond to the presence of sulfonyl chlorides or sulfates as indicated by the ICP-OES results. Furthermore, a comparison between the energy requirements for the widely used seawater desalination technologies was presented. Additionally, this study showed the economical and environmental advantages and potential for recovering valuable metals from seawater reverse osmosis brines.Scopu
