EM BUSCA DO CORAÇÃO PULSANTE DO DISCURSO

O objetivo fundacional deste artigo é gerar entendimentos sobre a forma como se estabelece discursivamente a inter-relação entre afeto e avaliação, sublinhando o modo como esta fornece os meios discursivos para a concretização interacional do primeiro. Com tal esfinge em vista, busco apreender teoricamente os afetos desde a sua gênese experiencial até suas erupções discursivas, sendo a avaliação a via textual pela qual aqueles ganham corpo na prática interacional. Acerca desse edifício teórico, seu alicerce é sustentado por três pilares: 1) a reflexão vygotskiana acerca da integração dos processos psicológicos ao leito da experiência, 2) a discussão empreendida por Bakhtin sobre a natureza dialeticamente axiológica e ideológica do discurso e, finalmente, 3) o diálogo entre a Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional e o Sistema de Avaliatividade, que fornece ao presente trabalho uma concepção de linguagem e de avaliação capaz de estear a teorização aqui aventada. A matriz epistemológico-metodológica que orienta esta pesquisa fundamenta-se nos princípios da Epistemologia Qualitativa. Ancorado nesse cabedal, analiso parte do corpus gerado para a minha Dissertação de Mestrado.  O esforço analítico realizado parece sublinhar a proposição teórica de que a camada avaliativa da linguagem oferta uma vereda de instanciação discursiva para os afetos, além de subsidiar uma reflexão, que inicio na seção derradeira deste escrito, sobre o papel desempenhado pela encarnação das nossas emoções no discurso na construção da intersubjetividade afetiva

Olhares e dizeres sobre os afetos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem de inglês: uma análise do Platonismo como modelo de construção de inteligibilidade à luz da Psicologia Discursiva Crítica

O objetivo deste trabalho é gerar inteligibilidade acerca de como um conjunto de repertórios interpretativos assentados na filosofia platônica esquematiza discursivamente a reflexão de professores(as) de inglês sobre a influência dos afetos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem dessa língua. Com tal objetivo em vista e amparado teoricamente pelos preceitos da Psicologia Discursiva Crítica, me inclino sobre as construções discursivas de três docentes de inglês que alicerçaram seus posicionamentos acerca dos afetos no modelo teórico platonista. Por fim, discuto criticamente em que medida esse sistema filosófico está em (dis-/cons-) sonância com o entendimento contemporaneamente hegemônico acerca dos afetos, apontando os desdobramentos de tal (dis-)alinhamento

CONTRA UMA CONCEPÇÃO INSULAR DAS EMOÇÕES

O objetivo central do presente trabalho é lançar luz sobre um movimento teórico denominado por Pavlenko (2013) de virada afetiva, que, nas últimas duas décadas, vem ganhando proeminência nas pesquisas na área de ASL. Para tanto, me engajo em uma investigação com o intuito de esclarecer, por um lado, as bases teórico-filosóficas que sustentam o processo histórico em questão e, por outro lado, a perspectiva contra a qual os estudos situados sob a égide da virada afetiva em ASL se insurgem. Finalmente, destaco os desafios que os estudos desenvolvidos sob os preceitos da virada afetiva estão propensos a enfrentar, assim como pontuo as possíveis contribuições que essas pesquisas podem fornecer à literatura da área

O ARISTOTELISMO COMO MODELO DISCURSIVO DE CONSTRUÇÃO DE INTELIGIBILIDADE ACERCA DOS AFETOS NO PROCESSO DE ENSINO/APRENDIZAGEM DE INGLÊS: UMA ANÁLISE À LUZ DA PSICOLOGIA DISCURSIVA CRÍTICA

O objetivo deste trabalho é entender como um conjunto de repertórios interpretativos baseados no pensamento de Aristóteles sistematiza discursivamente a reflexão de professores(as) de inglês sobre a influência dos afetos no processo de ensino/aprendizagem desse saber. Para tanto, me debruço, à luz dos preceitos teóricos da Psicologia Discursiva Crítica, sobre as construções discursivo-reflexivas de duas docentes de inglês que tomaram como esteio para seus posicionamentos acerca dos afetos o esquema teórico do aristotelismo. Finalmente, questiono criticamente em que medida esse sistema filosófico se encontra em (des-)alinhamento com o entendimento hodiernamente hegemônico a respeito dos afetos, apontando os desdobramentos desse diálogo – instanciado nos discursos das participantes desta pesquisa

DA MECÂNICA DAS PAIXÕES À GEOMETRIA DOS AFETOS: UMA REVISÃO DAS TEORIAS DAS EMOÇÕES FORMULADAS NA MODERNIDADE

O objetivo central deste trabalho é expor uma breve revisão das teorias das emoções desenvolvidas ao longo da Modernidade. Diante de um período histórico de tamanha abrangência, o presente artigo terá como enfoque as teorizações propostas por quatro pensadores: 1) Descartes, 2) Hume, 3) Leibniz; e 4) Espinoza. Além da apresentação dos esquemas conceituais que entabulam o fenômeno das emoções, este escrito também propõe uma discussão acerca dos pontos de aproximação e afastamento entre as teorias iluminadas, explicitando as possíveis interfaces entre as ideias dos pensadores abordados e os desdobramentos dessas teorias

The Natural Agriculture Association of Campinas’ Participatory Guarantee System: a case study in the metropolitan area of San Paolo, Brazil

The research aimed to rescue the context in which the Brazilian regulation for organic production and control mechanisms for organic quality assurance occurred. Also a case study on what has been the experience of the first PGS (Participatory Guarantee System) accredited by Mapa (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply) was conducted. The Natural Agriculture Association of Campinas decided to adopt a PGS three years ago ending its activities as a non-profitable third party certifier. The research sought to understand the farmer´s motivations for adopting the ANC´s PGS and which are the main challenges and gains within this kind of social control mechanism. The study preliminary results indicate that the recognition by the law of PGSs and SCOs (Social Control Organizations) as alternatives to third part certification was an important achievement for ecological based family farming in the country. In relation to the specific studied PGS, the experience has empowered the participant producers due to cooperation’s increasing through the creation of strategies to collectively commercialize their products and inputs purchase, the constant sharing of experiences, the creation of a seed bank and the participatory decision-making process in replacement to the third part system that existed before. The main challenges are related to bureaucratic requirements from Mapa and the reduction of the PGS´s direct and indirect costs

Physical exercise and fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgic syndrome is a non-inflammatory rheumatic disease which affects primarily Caucasianwomen. Fibromyalgic syndrome can be classified as primary, when there is no other associated pathology; orsecondary, when it is diagnosed related to some other pathology. The fibromyalgic patient needs to receivemultidisciplinary treatment and different areas should work together to promote the improvement of symptoms.The most common classical symptom of this disease is the chronic and diffuse pain. The specialized literaturepresents several works that point out the effects and benefits of physical exercise as a non-pharmacologicaltreatment for patients with fibromyalgic syndrome. Aerobic activity, stretching and strength training are amongthe physical exercises. Thus, this review aimed to highlight the several ways physical exercise can be useful tothe fibromyalgic patient, especially concerning the improvement of symptoms

Boosting Perturbation-Based Iterative Algorithms to Compute the Median String

[Abstract] The most competitive heuristics for calculating the median string are those that use perturbation-based iterative algorithms. Given the complexity of this problem, which under many formulations is NP-hard, the computational cost involved in the exact solution is not affordable. In this work, the heuristic algorithms that solve this problem are addressed, emphasizing its initialization and the policy to order possible editing operations. Both factors have a significant weight in the solution of this problem. Initial string selection influences the algorithm’s speed of convergence, as does the criterion chosen to select the modification to be made in each iteration of the algorithm. To obtain the initial string, we use the median of a subset of the original dataset; to obtain this subset, we employ the Half Space Proximal (HSP) test to the median of the dataset. This test provides sufficient diversity within the members of the subset while at the same time fulfilling the centrality criterion. Similarly, we provide an analysis of the stop condition of the algorithm, improving its performance without substantially damaging the quality of the solution. To analyze the results of our experiments, we computed the execution time of each proposed modification of the algorithms, the number of computed editing distances, and the quality of the solution obtained.
