Norms of Morality as the Foundation for the Development of Legislation on the Digital Economy

    Get PDF
The study is devoted to identifying the importance of moral norms in the formation of a regulatory framework in the digital economy. Objective: to determine the role of moral norms in the era of the digital economy in law. Results: the importance of moral norms as an effective criterion for determining the admissibility and justification of a new legal norm is proved. Moral norms should be used when establishing rules of conduct in connection with digital objects and the user agreement. The law of the digital economy does not need the formation of new principles of ethics or other in connection with the introduction of digital technologies

Seasonal progression of active-layer thickness dependent on microrelief

    Get PDF
Introduction Active-layer thickness is a major factor for all physical and biological processes in permafrost soils. It is closely related to the fluxes of energy, water and carbon between permafrost landscapes and the atmosphere. Active-layer thickness is mainly driven by air temperature, but also influenced by snow cover, summer rainfall, soil properties and vegetation characteristics (Nelson et al., 1998). The typical polygonal tundra of the Lena Delta is characterised by a pronounced microrelief, which causes a high small-scale heterogeneity of soil and vegetation properties. Consequently, also the active-layer thickness varies substantially across small lateral distances of decimetres to metres. In order to up-scale results of process studies to the landscape scale, a quantification of the heterogeneity of active-layer thickness is of great interest

Radial HI Profiles at the Periphery of Galactic Disks: The Role of Ionizing Background Radiation

Observations of neutral hydrogen in spiral galaxies reveal a sharp cutoff in the radial density profile at some distance from the center. Using 22 galaxies with known HI distributions as an example, we discuss the question of whether this effect can be associated exclusively with external ionizing radiation, as is commonly assumed. We show that before the surface density reaches ΟƒHI≀0.5MβŠ™/pc2\sigma_{\textrm{HI}}\le 0.5 {\cal M}_\odot/{\textrm {pc}}^2(the same for galaxies of different types), it is hard to expect the gas to be fully ionized by background radiation. For two of 13 galaxies with a sharp drop in the HI profile, the "steepening" can actually be caused by ionization. At the same time, for the remaining galaxies, the observed cutoff in the radial HI profile is closer to the center than if it was a consequence of ionization by background radiation and, therefore, it should be caused by other factors.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figure

Features of development of school pedagogics health in transnistria

The aim of the investigation is to show the features and to define the directions of development of school pedagogics of health in Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR).Β Methods. The methods involve theoretical analysis of sources in the field of pedagogics of health, statistical data, methods of analogy, comparison, correlation, synthesis of information, studying of the best practices of schools of health of PMR. The principles of system and valeological approaches have been involved as the leading methodological reference points.Β Results and scientific novelty. Intrinsic characteristics and specifics of school pedagogics of health in PMR are disclosed; its genesis during the PostSoviet period is completely presented; the prospects are defined. Positive experience of preservation, strengthening and formation of health of pupils of Pridnestrovian schools is revealed and analysed.Β Practical significance of research consists that the received results have predictive character and are suitable for design of the organization of a school education system. Β«Cities are Good for UsΒ»: Assessment of Urban Attractiveness by Students

The article reveals the foundation of attractiveness of the city as a place of residence, as a place of realization of needs of student youth. The city, as a high-resource territory, becomes a factor in the formation of migration attitudes of the young generation, which acts as a driver for its successful functioning and development. Cities engage in global competition for human resources. The lack of competitive advantages (such as a favourable environment, high level of income, quality of life, developed infrastructure) is becoming a factor of outflow of youth to more attractive areas. In 2017, we conducted a sociological study of students of the city of Yekaterinburg (Russia). Based on a standardized survey of 200 students (71 men and 129 women), as well as on 8 in-depth interviews with 4 women and 4 men, the article argues that the factors of the city's attractiveness are the conditions contributing to the upward vertical mobility. The most attractive characteristic of the urban environment is the economic, environmental and socio-cultural sustainability, which creates the conditions for the successful implementation of life plans, initiative and innovation. When choosing a city for the realization of their interests, students consider the territory's ability to provide opportunities for informal interaction and free choice of everyday practices. These indicators of attractiveness demonstrate that students claim their right to the city: they change themselves by changing the city.
