Asymptotic normality of recursive estimators under strong mixing conditions
The main purpose of this paper is to estimate the regression function by
using a recursive nonparametric kernel approach. We derive the asymptotic
normality for a general class of recursive kernel estimate of the regression
function, under strong mixing conditions. Our purpose is to extend the work of
Roussas and Tran [17] concerning the Devroye-Wagner estimate
Consistency of the recursive nonparametric regression estimation for dependent functional data
We consider the recursive estimation of a regression functional where the
explanatory variables take values in some functional space. We prove the almost
sure convergence of such estimates for dependent functional data. Also we
derive the mean quadratic error of the considered class of estimators. Our
results are established with rates and asymptotic appear bounds, under strong
mixing condition.Comment: 12 page
Credit Risk Estimation in the Age of Peer to Peer Lending
Credit Risk in Peer to Peer Lending is an emerging field with practical implications for U.S banking system. Peer to Peer Lending is a type of online lending process which uses nontraditional bank channels. The inexorable rise of Fintechs has led to an extraordinary change in financial intermediation. This paper examines the factors that are critical in predicting default in Peer to Peer lending. The paper finds that FICO score, debt-to-income ratio , the loan amount, the credit grade assigned by the online lending platform are all critical factors of the credit risk evaluation process. Furthermore, models with hyperparameters such as neural networks and random forest do not reliably outperform classical logistic regression in the prediction of credit default. Finally, this paper makes vital policy recommendations to strengthen the efficiency of marketplace lending and provides a set of rules to prevent another crisis of the magnitude of the great recession
A Sociological Approach of Relationship between Culture and Development: The Case of Adapazari in Turkey
In its general sense culture may now be regarded as the set of distinctive spiritual material intellectual and emotional features that characterize a society or social group It includes not only the arts humanities and sciences mode of life the fundamental rights of the human being value systems traditions and beliefs This common pool evolves in time and in the form of trade This is in distinct ways of being thinking acting and communicating Some analysts believe it may be a driver or a hindrance to the development of a country Regarding Turkish culture it should be noted that it straddles two continents It brings together customs and traditions inherited from the Ottoman Empire Islam or imported from the Mediterranean basin the Middle East and Europe Despite a particularly agitated twentieth century modern Turkey also has in addition to the ethnic Turkish population minorities or communities as Laze Kurdish Armenian Greek and Arabic With all this cultural mix Turkey is an emerging power in the Euro-Mediterranean region It knows a remarkable economic and social development With a population of 75 million inhabitants and a per capita income of 10 000 Turkey has climbed to 17th among the world s economic power
Participation Politique Des Femmes Au Niger: Analyse De La Contribution Du Genre Féminin Dans Le Développement Politique
This research focuses on the political participation of women in Niger. In addition to the documentation on the subject, we conducted interviews with women and political party leaders. Thus, the quest for equality is more than ever a concern of Nigerian women. In this article we asked the following research question: how can we explain the contribution of the feminine gender to political development in Niger? The general objective pursued through this article is to analyze the contribution of women in political development in Niger. To answer the research question and check the general objective the qualitative method through maintenance guides was used. After analyzing the data, the results show that politics is still an exclusively male domain or that there are many institutionalized discriminations, the dominance of political space by men being the rule, although it did not exclude a certain presence women. The results also show that the question of the presence of women in public life in general and political space in particular is a global challenge to harmonize the political space of Niger
Anaerobic Treatment of Black Water and the Effect of Nitrate on Bioreactor Performance (RALBI)
The main challenge that will be faced today is the state of degradation of the environment by discharges or the lack of adequate sanitation for wastewater, which is based on sanitation technologies. Hence the development of anaerobic systems in the treatment of wastewater. In particular, the anaerobic reactor with submerged bacterial bed (RALBI-Upflow) uses biological processes to remove organic matter and nutrients in a single reactor. The experimental system consisted of two units, the first in which one nitrate was injected and the other without nitrate injection with a volume of 4m3. This system was fed with raw sewage (black water). The objective was to evaluate the performance of the two reactors for the reduction of the organic load (COD) and the degree of denitrification by different concentrations of nitrates. The removal efficiencies of organic material expressed in COD was 70,25% and 80,11% at nitrate (RALBI1), then 42.28% (COD) and 32.02% (nitrate) for RALBI2 in the treatment of black water.
