    Kebijakan Dividen Dan Struktur Kepemilikan Terhadap Kebijakan Utang: Sebuah Perspektif Agency Theory

    This study aimed to analyze whether the dividend policy, managerial and institutionalownership had impact toward debt policy. The populations of this study were the go publicmanufacturers in BEI. The sample technique used was purposive sampling, and the analysismethod used was multiple regression method. The result showed that the dividend policy hadno impact toward the debt policy. This study failed to support statement that one of thealternatives could be chosen to reduce the agency conflict by increasing the dividend payoutratio. It was because there might be another factor influenced it, for example, the companyimplemented a stable dividend sharing policy which meant that the company should still paythe dividend although it was losing out or had debts. The managerial and institutional ownershiphad no impact toward the debt policy. Thus, this study failed to support a statement thatalternatives that could be chosen to reduce the agency conflict by increasing the management'sstockholding, and by increasing the institutional party's stockholding

    Matter wave soliton bouncer

    Dynamics of a matter wave soliton bouncing on the reflecting surface (atomic mirror) under the effect of gravity has been studied by analytical and numerical means. The analytical description is based on the variational approach. Resonant oscillations of the soliton's center of mass and width, induced by appropriate modulation of the atomic scattering length and the slope of the linear potential are analyzed. In numerical experiments we observe the Fermi type acceleration of the soliton when the vertical position of the reflecting surface is periodically varied in time. Analytical predictions are compared with the results of numerical simulations of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation and qualitative agreement between them is found.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure

    Peningkatan Kinerja Sistem Keselamatan Pasif Pada Reaktor Nuklir Dengan Penambahan Komponen Rvacs

    Completeness of passive safety systems and inherent in advanced reactors is a major prerequisite. This paper explores the results of a conceptual design of the heat removal system at the nuclear power plant (NPP) type Very High-Temperature Reactor. The purpose of this research was to design the reactor vessel auxiliary cooling system (RVACS) of NPP located within the reactor walls. The RVACS performance study was conducted on two types of coolant: Lead-Bismuth and Liquid Salt. Heat was removed from the reactor vessel through the natural circulation in the steady state. Analyses of heat transfer systems involved radiation, conduction and natural convection. Heat transfer calculations were performed on the reactor vessel, guard vessel, and perforated plate. The results from the accident analysis showed that both types, the reactor coolant system and the passive residual heat removal system, adequately remove remaining heat of the decay by a natural circulation

    Optimalisasi Cara Pemeraman Buah Cempedak (Artocarpus Champeden)

    Cempedak (Artocarpus champeden), merupakan salah satu jenis tanaman eksotis asli Indonesia. Rasa buahnya sangat manis dan legit, aromanya sangat wangi dan khas. Buah cempedak merupakan buah klimaterik yang tingkat ketuaannya tidak seragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan teknologi pemeraman buah cempedak yang menghasilkan kematangan buah cempedak lebih seragam dan lebih cepat tanpa harus merubah karakter fisik dan kimianya. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 1 faktor yang terdiri dari sepuluh (10) perlakuan pemeraman dengan dua ulangan. Perlakuan tersebut meliputi kontrol (tanpa perlakuan), pelukaan, karbit pada beberapa dosis 1, 2, 3, dan 4 g/kg buah (C1,C2, C3 dan C4) dan ethrel pada beberapa dosis (1000, 1500, 2000 dan 2500) ppm. Analisis statistik yang dilakukan meliputi analisis univariate dan multivariate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pemeraman dengan karbit dan ethrel dapat mempercepat pematangan buah cempedak lebih cepat 3 hari dibandingkan dengan perlakuan kontrol dan pelukaan. Semakin tinggi dosis karbit dan ethrel nilai TPT dan kadar air cenderung semakin rendah, sebaliknya nilai vitamin C semakin tinggi dengan semakin tingginya dosis pada hari keempat setelah pemeraman. Perlakuan pemeraman dengan dosis karbit 2 dan 3 g/kg mempunyai kemiripan dengan perlakuan pemeraman ethrel 1500 dan 2000 ppm pada karakter total asam, vitamin C, total padatan terlarut dan kadar air setelah 7 hari pemeraman. Analisis univariate (anova) efektif dalam hal memberikan informasi mengenai perlakuan yang terbaik, sedangkan analisis multivariate (manova dan PCA) efektif dalam mengurangi/mereduksi jumlah variabel dan menentukan kemiripan suatu variabel

    The performance of modified jatropha-based nanofluid during turning process

    The industry's extensive use of petroleum-based metalworking fluid (MWF) harms the environment and humans. The production of bio-based MWF, especially from crude jatropha oil (CJO), has therefore taken numerous initiatives. This aimed to formulate newly modified jatropha oil (MJO) with the addition of 0.05wt.% hBN and 0.05wt.% MoS2 as the nanofluid for MWF. The performance of the nanofluids was determined through the turning process in terms of cutting temperature, workpiece surface roughness, tool life and tool wear of the tool lubricated by the nanofluids. The performance of the nanofluid samples was compared with the synthetic ester (SE). From the results, after conducted 100mm axial cutting length MJO+hBN+MoS2 recorded the lowest in cutting temperature and surface roughness compared to all samples. The result shows that MJO+hBN+MoS2 has longer tool life (6500mm) compared to SE (6000mm). Abrasion and adhesion were observed as the dominant tool wear mechanism. In conclusion, MJO+hBN+MoS2 shows better machining performance and has the potential to be an environmentally friendly metalworking fluid
