Karena itu, menggali, meneliti, dan menelusuri karya sastra dalam naskah-naskah kuno di berbagai daerah di Indonesia pada hakekatnya sangat diperlukan dalam rangka pembentukan manusia Indonesia seutuhnya

    Influences of Urban Growth On Urban Heat Island in Kuching City in Year of 2005 Until 2017

    Urbanization has contributed significantly to global warming. Kuching city has grown rapidly in recent years as a result of favourable socioeconomic, political,and physical factors that will undoubtedly affect the urban climate and environment. Landsat Thematic Mapper (ETM+) imagery from 2005, 2010, 2016, and 2017 was used to determine the urban heat island effect by examining the relationship between land-use changes and land surface temperature (LST). The study discovered a significant increase in the built-up area of about 17.1 percent between 2005 and 2017 and a decline in barren land and vegetation areas of about 41.6 percent and 5.1 percent, respectively. Additionally, this study discovered that as land use changed from 2005 to 2017, the LST increased year after year. The findings of this study demonstrate that they are effective tools for urban planners and environmental scientists because they provide critical data for monitoring urban growth patterns and their impact on urban climat

    Land surface temperature (LST) is used as an indicator for land temperature. Previous research demonstrates a strong correlation between urban growth and land surface temperature. The rising of land temperature will lead to urban heat island if there are no preventative precautions done. Due to the area's rapid urbanisation, this study will focus on Kuching City. Matang Jaya, Tabuan Jaya, Satok, and Batu Kawa were chosen as case studies. These areas are rapidly developing, with new townships and population growth. The Landsat 7 data set was used as secondary data in this study. Spatial and thermal analysis were performed on the output using ERDAS software and ArcGIS. The analyses derived land use changes between 2005 and 2017, temperature statistics for land use types, and LST retrieval for case studies. The result indicates that the land surface temperature increased with the case studies' physical development

    A comparative DFT study of electronic and optical properties of Pb/ Cd-doped LaVO4 and Pb/Cd-LuVO4 for electronic device applications

    A First-principles study based on density functional theory was accomplished to examine the different properties of ABVO4 (A = Pb/Cd, B––La/Lu) materials such as structural, optical, and electronic properties. The band gap of Pb/Cd-doped LuVO4 is found to be remarkably and significantly decreased from 2.921 to 1.71eV as compared to a decrement of 3.455 to 2.650eV in Pb/Cd-doped LaVO4. Under the DFT study, Pb (Lead) and Cd (Cadmium) are appropriate materials for band gap decrement of LuVO4 and LaVO4. The nature of the band gap was found indirect moreover band gap indicated that materials are prominent semiconductors. Pb/Cd is doped at the vanadium (V) sites, which are more advantageous than the La/Lu sites. By capturing Pb/Cd at the V sites in LuVO4/ LaVO4, additional gamma points were incorporated into the electronic band gap energy (Eg). A significant decrement is found in the band gap as well as optical conductivity. After the substitution of different impurities of Pb/Cd the energy absorption peaks are increased. It is also examined that after doping of Pb/Cd optical conductivity shifted toward larger energy because of the band gap. Both Pb/Cd-doped LuVO4 and Pb/Cd-doped LaVO4 compounds have high optical conductivity, refractive index, and energy absorption moreover Pb/Cddoped LuVO4 is a more appropriate material as compared to Pb/Cd-doped LaVO4 for electronic device applications
