    Studi pendanaan pendidikan madrasah di Indonesia

    Sistem pendidikan di Indonesia memiliki dua sub-sistem utama, yaitu sub-sistem pendidikan sekolah di bawah pengelolaan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemdikbud) dan sub-sistem pendidikan madrasah dan pendidikan Agama di bawah pengelolaan Kementerian Agama (Kemenag). Dari sekitar 233.517 lembaga pendidikan sekolah umum dan madrasah, 82 persennya adalah sekolah umum dan 18 persennya madrasah; dan dari sekitar 49.402.000 peserta didik sekolah umum dan madrasah, 87 persennya terdaftar di sekolah umum dan 13 persennya masuk di madrasah. Menurut peraturan perundangan yang berlaku di Indonesia, sekolah umum dan madrasah harus mendapatkan perlakuan yang sama di semua aspeknya. Lebih jauh lagi, madrasah menggunakan Kurikulum Nasional yang sama dengan sekolah umum yang berada di bawah Kemdikbud disamping menggunakan subjek agama Islam seperti yang telah diatur oleh Kemenag. Madrasah memberi kontribusi penting terhadap pencapaian standar partisipasi di kabupaten/kota (Angka Partisipasi Murni/Kasar), target Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), serta pemenuhan Standar Pelayanan Minimum (SPM) di tingkat Kabupaten. Madrasah berkontribusi kurang lebih 11% dalam partisipasi sekolah dasar (MI) dan 22% dalam partisipasi sekolah menengah pertama (MTs). Tetapi, kontribusi terbesar adalah dari madrasah swasta. Madrasah swasta biasanya dikelola oleh suatu yayasan keagamaan lokal yang sering dikaitkan dengan satu dari dua organisasi Islam terbesar yaitu Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) dan Muhammadiyah. MI swasta mengambil porsi 9,57% dalam partisipasi dibandingkan dengan 1,43% porsi MI negeri; madrasah swasta mengambil porsi 16,5% dalam partisipasi pada sekolah menengah pertama dibandingkan dengan 5,5% porsi madrasah negeri

    Lithofacies Architecture of the Gercus Formation in Jabal Haibat Sultan, NE Iraq; New Concept of Lithostratigraphy and Depositional Environmental

    Lithostratigraphic analysis of the Gercus Formation reveals four associations based on lithofacies types, petrography and sedimentary structures. The identified lithotypes are shale/claystone, sandstone, carbonate, conglomerate and debrite. Lithofacies association reveals four types arranged from bottom to top; FA1 proximal turbidite (sand dominated), FA2 distal turbidite (clay dominated), FA3 slop-apron turbidite (sand dominated) and FA4 distal deep turbidite (clay dominated). Lithofacies and associated sedimentary structures suggest sedimentation in marine turbidite regime followed the deep marine turbidites of Tanjero and Kolosh Formations in Tethyian foreland basin. The Middle-Late Eocene Gercus Flysch sediments composed of predominant litharenitic sandstones and interbedded mudstones, of turbiditic origin and mostly derived from a NE Arabian Plate margins. The sediments are well exposed in the NE side of Haibat Sultan Mountain, and provide excellent examples of fan sands associated with turbidites and related facies. The examined section indicates that the sandstones were deposited in larger channel complexes, which fed a mud-dominated slope. The more proximal facies have proportion of pebble conglomerates, shale-clast conglomerates and thick-bedded structureless pebbly sandstones, deposited by high-density turbidity currents, debris flows and slump. Other facies, either more distal or with a more uniform sand-rich are dominated by thick-bedded and amalgamated structureless sandstones. The massive sands are thought to originate from the gradual aggradations of sediment beneath or near-steady flows. In this paper, new sedimentological and lithofacies evidences prove for the first time that the Gercus Formation was deposited in gravity-flow regime in marine environment. The identified sedimentary structures display alternative graded and fining upward cycles, load and flute casts, submarine channels, sand and clay balls and pillow structures, convolute and slump beddings, of turbidity origin, which is supported by index glauconite mineral in some sandstone horizons.     Theory of unitarity bounds and low energy form factors

    We present a general formalism for deriving bounds on the shape parameters of the weak and electromagnetic form factors using as input correlators calculated from perturbative QCD, and exploiting analyticity and unitarity. The values resulting from the symmetries of QCD at low energies or from lattice calculations at special points inside the analyticity domain can beincluded in an exact way. We write down the general solution of the corresponding Meiman problem for an arbitrary number of interior constraints and the integral equations that allow one to include the phase of the form factor along a part of the unitarity cut. A formalism that includes the phase and some information on the modulus along a part of the cut is also given. For illustration we present constraints on the slope and curvature of the K_l3 scalar form factor and discuss our findings in some detail.     On-Line Monitoring for Temporal Logic Robustness

    In this paper, we provide a Dynamic Programming algorithm for on-line monitoring of the state robustness of Metric Temporal Logic specifications with past time operators. We compute the robustness of MTL with unbounded past and bounded future temporal operators MTL over sampled traces of Cyber-Physical Systems. We implemented our tool in Matlab as a Simulink block that can be used in any Simulink model. We experimentally demonstrate that the overhead of the MTL robustness monitoring is acceptable for certain classes of practical specifications

    KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE REGARDING VAGINAL RING AS A FORM OF CONTRACEPTION AMONG LEBANESE WOMEN

    This study aimed to evaluate the knowledge of Lebanese women concerning the vaginal ring as a contraceptive means, and to assess their attitude regarding the usage of this form of contraception.502 participants of ages 20-49 were recruited to complete a 10-minute questionnaire to assess their contraceptive knowledge, awareness, and attitude towards the vaginal ring. Knowledge was evaluated among those who had heard about the ring by completing 16 questions. While those of no previous knowledge of the ring were directed towards a brief description about it. All participants completed 7 questions to assess their attitude towards the vaginal ring, and whether or not they might consider using it. Of all the participants 79.8 % recorded having knowledge about different forms of contraceptives, but only 29.1% knew about the ring. Of the latter, 105 had a score less than 50, and were thus considered to have poor knowledge. Whereas, 34 participants had a score of 50 and above, and were considered to have sufficient knowledge. Of the participants, 66.5% would not consider using the ring in the future. Age, level of education and enrollment in the medical field among other factors had a significant impact on the attitude of women towards the vaginal ring. Lack of advertisement, poor counselling from medical professionals, and unavailability of the product had a significant role in the inadequate awareness towards it. The ring did not seem appealing for most of the participants

    Improvement of dissolution properties of albendazole fromdifferent methods of solid dispersion

    Poor aqueous solubility of drugs results in poor absorption and bioavailability. The objective of solid dispersion technology is to increase the dissolution properties of highly lipophilic drugs, by using different hydrophilic carriers thereby improving their bioavailability. This technology is useful for enhancing the dissolution, absorption and therapeutic efficacy of drugs in dosage forms. Albendazole is a broad-spectrum antihelmintic agent used for the treatment of a variety of parasitic worm infestations. It is practically insoluble in water but slightly soluble in solvents like chloroform, methanol, ethyl acetate, and acetonitrile. The aim of our study was to improve the dissolution profile of albendazole using HPMC K 100 LV, Kollidon VA64 and Mannitol as carriers by solid dispersion techniques. From the prepared solid dispersion, formulation code CSF5 showed better result where carrier was HMPC K 100 LV at 1:10 ratio in solvent evaporation method. The HPMC K 100 LV showed better result for both kneading and solvent evaporation methods. Moreover, among the method employed, solvent evaporation method showed better solubility of drug at 60 min also at 1:10 ratio which was 78.86%. Results indicated that current formulation of solid dispersion is a promising approach for enhancing drug solubility and dissolution

    Sintesis dan Karakterisasi Hidrogel Superabsorben Berbasis Asam Akrilat Hasil Iradiasi Gamma

    Dalam kerangka mendapatkan hidrogel dengan kemampuan menyerap airyang relatif tinggi, telah dilakukan sintesis hidrogel superabsorben (HSA) berbasis asam akrilatmenggunakan teknik radiasi. Satu seri larutan asam akrilat dengan derajat netralisasi (Dn) 0;0,20; 0,40; 0,60; 0,80 dan 1 masing-masing diiradiasi sinar gamma pada dosis10 kGy (lajudosis 5 kGy/j). Pengaruh derajat netralisasi terhadap nisbah pengembung hidrogel dipelajari.Sifat termal hidrogel diukur menggunakan Differential scanning calorymetry (DSC). Perubahanstruktur kimia hidrogel diukur menggunakan Fourier transform infra red (FTIR), dan morfologihidrogel diobservasi menggunakan Scanning electron microscope (SEM). Hasil eveluasimenunjukan bahwa pada kondisi optimum (Dn=0,80, 10 kGy, 20 menit), hidrogelmenunjukkan kemampuan menyerap air yang relatif tinggi (~600 g/g). Hasil pengukuranDSC mengkonfirmasi kemungkinan terbentuknya jenis produk akhir hasil iradiasi asamakrilat. Spektra FTIR menunjang bahwa reaksi polimerisasi asam akrilat melalui ikatanrangkap dua dalam struktur molekul asam akrilat. Hasil pengujian SEM menunjukkan bahwahidtogel berpori ukuran makro.Kata kunci : Hidrogel, superabsorben, asam akrilat, irradiasi, derajat netralisasi
