    PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA (LKS) BERBASIS PENDEKATAN KONSTRUKTIVISME PADA MATERI TEOREMA PYTHAGORAS DENGAN BANTUAN ALAT PERAGA

    This research aims to develop mathematical student worksheets (LKS) by using the construktivism approach to the pytagorean theorem material with the help of teaching aids in March 2020. The sampling techniquue in this research are purposive sampling. Data coolection techniques using questionnaires, validation sheets and test results. The type of research is used are reseac and development (R&D). Developotment design that is an ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, evaluation). Data analysis techniques used are qualitative data consisting of from the analisys of validaty, Practicality, and affectiveness. The results of this study show that the validity of tools based on constructivism approach whit the help of praga tool in RPP was stated to be very valid in review of the results of the validitaion of media experts and material experts whit an average, score of 48,00 tinles in the category x̅ > 42,06, LKS that was developed was stated to be very valid in view of the results of the validation of the experts with an average score of 48.5 being in the category x̅ > 42,06, and the props that were developed were stated to be very valid in view of the validation of the media experts, the score 74,00 is in the category x̅ > 67,21. Practicality results seen froom the questionnaire responses of students declared pratical whith the average number of scores 51,25 in the category 42 < x̅ ≤ 51. The effectiveness results are stated to very effective in terms of student learning outcomes, in the results 84,37% obtained in the “very good” category P ≥ 80. So that it can be concluded that LKS which is developed is valid, pratical and effective in learning mathematics so that it can improve student learning outcomes.  &nbsp

    The aims of this research were to determine the appropriate, practicality, and effectiveness of learning video for lines materials and angles by using discovery learning model to improve mathematical problem-solving ability for seventh grade students. Method here was research and development using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Population was mathematic teachers and seventh grade students SMPK Sta. Maria Assumpta, Kupang. Sample was seventh grade students of A class. Trials was done to determine the practicality of learning video. Research instruments here was validation sheet, learning video, lesson plan, practicality sheet, questioner of study result test. the obtained data then analyzed its validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Results: validity scores, a) learning video: 3.45, b) lesson plan: 3.59, c) teacher respond questionary: 3.5, d) student respond questionary: 3.5. The average score for validity was 3.45 and the category was very valid. The learning video got good respond and the score was a) 3.45 for teacher respond questioner, b) 3.56 for student respond questioner. The average score of practicality was 3.55 and the category was very practical. The appropriate of learning video was obtained from the effectiveness of student KKM (70) and the average score of student learning outcome was 73.33%. From the data of validation result, analysis of questioner and student learning outcome show that the learning video for lines material and angles by using discovery learning model was very valid, very practical and effective

    JENIS-JENIS KESALAHAN DAN FAKTOR PENYEBAB DALAM PENYELESAIAN MASALAH MATEMATIS DENGAN MATERI PERBANDINGAN PADA SISWA SMP MUHAMMADIYAH KUPANG KELAS VII

    The objective of this study is to determine errors and causal factors in junior high school students in solving mathematical problems in comparative material. The descriptive qualitative method was used in this study. This study was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Kupang. Six students participated in this study, with two students having high abilities, two students having moderate abilities, and two students having low abilities. Written examinations centered on comparison material and interview results were used to collect data. The results of the tests and interviews were analyzed based on the indicators of the types of errors and the causal factors, namely: concept errors, principal errors and operational errors.  The results showed that. (1) Student with high category abilities, made one mistake, namely an operation error, the subject was wrong in the process of calculating the final answer. (2) Students with moderate categories make mistakes, namely, prinsi errors, principle errors do not write comparison formulas when solving problems. (3) Students with low categories i.e. subjects commit misconceptions, i.e. subjects have difficulty in determining concepts from comparisons

    Analysis of the Statistical Literacy Ability of Sociology Education Students

    This research aims to identify students' statistical literacy abilities, and this type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this research consisted of 24 Sociology Education students from Muhammadiyah University of Kupang taking statistics courses in the 2023/2024 academic year. The instrument used is an assignment consisting of 2 questions. Data analysis was done by analyzing students' answer documents to complete the assignments given. Students' statistical literacy abilities are identified using five statistical literacy competencies: understanding statistical concepts, insight into the application of statistical concepts, calculation and graphing skills, interpretation abilities, and visualization and communication skills. The research results show that more than 50% of students can fulfill statistical literacy competencies such as understanding statistical concepts, numeracy, interpretation, and communication skills. However, less than 50% of students do not meet competency in insight into the application of statistical concepts and visualization skills. Students' abilities in essential statistical literacy competencies still need to be improved because most students still have limitations in these competencies
