    The world is on the cusp of a new communications revolution. The next generation of communication networks, known as 6G, will enable a wide range of new applications and services that are not possible with current 4G or 5G networks. In overview, we will review Artificial Intelligence (AI) Types, Advantages, challenges and some of the most promising applications of 6G technology. Some of the key applications that are being developed for 6G communication networks include Digital Twin (DT), Holograms, Robot Avatar, High Density (IoT), and AR & VR. The use of these applications in 6G communication networks is not a new concept, but integration to 6G will need more improvements. These applications have been around for some time now and have seen various improvements over the years. However, with the advent of 6G communication networks, the use of AR and VR is expected to see a drastic change. This paper contributes to the existing literature about the nature of 6G and applications to give more understanding and further discussion in potential and new trends

V prvnĂ­ části jsou popsĂĄny zĂĄklady počítačovĂ© grafiky, zpracovĂĄnĂ­ a rozpoznĂĄvĂĄnĂ­ v obraze. DalĆĄĂ­ část je zaměƙena na teorii a historii dvou nejznĂĄmějĆĄĂ­ch uměleckĂœch stylĆŻ ASCII art a ANSI art. V nĂĄvrhu aplikace jsou uvedeny metody pro rozpoznĂĄvĂĄnĂ­ znakĆŻ a problĂ©my vyplĂœvajĂ­cĂ­ z jejich testovĂĄnĂ­. Pro obarvenĂ­ popƙedĂ­ a pozadĂ­ znaku byly navrĆŸeny metody, kterĂ© redukujĂ­ barevnĂœ prostor zkoumanĂ© oblasti. ZĂĄvěr prĂĄce popisuje testovĂĄnĂ­ na sĂ©rii obrazĆŻ, zhodnocenĂ­ dosaĆŸenĂœch vĂœsledkĆŻ během vĂœvoje a nĂĄvrhy na moĆŸnĂ© budoucĂ­ rozơíƙenĂ­.The present bachelor thesis deals with automatic generation of ASCII graphics. The thesis is divided in several parts. First part describes the basics of computer graphics, image processing and recognition. The next part is focused on a theory and history of two most famous art styles called ASCII art and ANSI art. The methods of char recognition and problems arising from their testing are described in software application design. The methods reducing colour space of analyzed area were designed for char foreground and background colouring. The semifinal part is focused on implementation of library generating ANSI and ASCII art image and software application enabling the setting of all necessary parameters. The testing on a series of images, evaluation of results reached during the development and suggestions of possible future extensions are described in last part of the thesis.

    Srikaya (Anonna Squamosa) berpotensi sebagai sumber senyawa antimikroba. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu, diketahui Srikaya memiliki beberapa manfaat, salah satunya sebagai antimikroba. Zat antibakteri yang terkandung dalam srikaya yaitu flavonoid, terpenoid dan alkaloid. Flavonoid merupakan senyawa yang mampu menghambat dan membunuh bakteri dimana salah satu keturunanya fenol bersifat asam sehingga disebut asam karbolat yang mampu mendenaturasi protein dan merusak dinding sel bakteri. Senyawa alkaloid merupakan komponen yang terdapat pada alam yang bersifat basa yang bereaksi dengan asam amino dimana reaksi tersebut menyebabkan sel bakteri lisis. Terpenoid merupakan komponen yang mempunyai bau yang dapat di isolasi melalui proses penyulingan, yang disebut minyak atsiri yang dapat digunakan sebagai anti jamur, antibakteri dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah di lakukan, ekstrak daun srikaya dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus. Tujuan dari literature review ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak daun srikaya sebagai antimikroba. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah penelusuran artikel melalui database Google Scholar, dengan menggunakan kata kunci “Efektifitas daun srikaya (Anonna squamosa) dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus” lalu artikel dipilih dengan meninjau judul dan abstrak artikel, melibatkan 5 pustaka nasional. Hasil dari berbagai penelusuran yang dicantumkan dalam artikel ini untuk menunjukkan adanya potensi daun srikaya sebagai antibakteri. Pemilihan pelarut yang tepat dalam proses ekstraksi daun srikaya sangat penting untuk mendapatkan aktivitas antimikroba yang optimal yang berdampak pada zona hambat yang terbentuk

    Scaling Bounded Model Checking By Transforming Programs With Arrays

    Bounded Model Checking is one the most successful techniques for finding bugs in program. However, model checkers are resource hungry and are often unable to verify programs with loops iterating over large arrays.We present a transformation that enables bounded model checkers to verify a certain class of array properties. Our technique transforms an array-manipulating (ANSI-C) program to an array-free and loop-free (ANSI-C) program thereby reducing the resource requirements of a model checker significantly. Model checking of the transformed program using an off-the-shelf bounded model checker simulates the loop iterations efficiently. Thus, our transformed program is a sound abstraction of the original program and is also precise in a large number of cases - we formally characterize the class of programs for which it is guaranteed to be precise. We demonstrate the applicability and usefulness of our technique on both industry code as well as academic benchmarks

    Steel Deck Institute Standards for Composite Steel Floor Deck-slabs

    As an ANSI accredited standards developer, the Steel Deck Institute (SDI) has developed an updated and expanded version of its “Standard for Composite Steel Floor Deck-Slabs”, ANSI/SDI C-2011 and a new standard, “Test Standard for Composite Steel Deck-Slabs”, ANSI/SDI T-CD-2011. These two standards reflect the current state-of-the-art for the design and testing of composite steel deck-slabs where the steel deck provides the tensile reinforcement for the slab. Substantial changes in the ANSI/SDI-C-2011 Standard include increased information regarding the use of fibers for concrete crack control purposes and concrete serviceability, consideration of moving and concentrated loads, and use of updated shear bond provisions and “pre-qualified sections.” The new ANSI/SDI-T-CD-2011 standard includes multiple methods for validating the flexural capacity of composite deck-slabs through.     The authors, having individually applied ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 140-2001 to the simulation program TRNSYS in a previous project, compare their results, simulation assumptions, and interpretations of the Standard's test cases to arrive at a conformed set of recommended practices.     The advent of commercially available wearable activity monitors and smartphone apps allows objective digital monitoring of daily activities of patients before and after THR surgery. A wide variety of wearable activity monitors and smartphone apps are being marketed to assist with enhancing physical activity following surgery. A systematic review of commercial wearable tech- nology and smartphone apps was undertaken to assess the evidence supporting their efficacy in assisting rehabilitation and patient monitoring following THR. A search was conducted using the electronic databases including Medline, CINAHL, Cochrane, PsycARTICLES and PubMed of studies from January 2000 to January 2019. Five studies met the eligibility criteria. A review of the studies found very little evidence to support long term efficacy of the technology in enhancing rehabilitation and patient monitoring post THR. Future work is required to establish which commercially available monitoring technology is most valuable to patients, which ones improve clinical outcomes post THR, and what are the best economical models for their deployment

    FMEA of gasketed and non-gasketed bolted flanged pipe joints

    Limited work is available in the literature on the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis of bolted flanged pipe joints. From previous comparative reliability studies of both gasketed and non-gasketed bolted flanged pipe joints, generally it is found that both the joints types are of high integrity and perform well in excellent service under appropriate installation and maintenance conditions. However, based on certain factors better functional safety for non-gasketed joints can be achieved. All studies have been performed based on operational information and reported observations. This study reported herein presents a detailed failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) in the light of industrial surveys, analysis, experimental work and subsequent observations in addition to previous studies. The aim of the study is to increase the reliability knowledge of the gasketed and non-gasketed flanged pipe joints and thereby to increase the basis for finding the optimal pipe connection based on surveys, observation and experimental studies performed
