Modelamiento y análisis de pequeña señal de un generador de inducción y un STATCOM conectados a un sistema de potencia

This paper presents the modeling and small-signal analysis of an induction generator (IG) and a static synchronous compensator (STATCOM) connected to an inÞ nite bus bar, representing a power system, the IG is modeled as Þ fth-order system and is coupled to a STATCOM is studied as a model of Þ rst order. The dynamic behaviorwas simulated and compared using MATLAB/ Simulink, two conditions of disturbance: a variation in the torque of the machine and a variationin the inÞ nite bus bar voltage because of a failure at this point. The responses obtained by the software show that the compensator acts appropriately counteracting power and voltage variations. Significantly, it must add a stage of tuning parameters to improve the responses

Aplicación del control difuso en un statcom

En este artículo se muestra la aplicación del Control Difuso en la operación de un STATCOM de seis pulsos conectado a un sistema de potencia. El sistema de control es puesto a prueba cuando el STATCOM es sometido a perturbaciones externas representadas por un fallo trifásico a tierra ocurrido en la carga y cambios en el valor del voltaje de referencia. Se comprobó el método propuesto mediante la simulación en el paquete PSCAD/EMTDC

Regulatori struje aktivnih filtara snage za poboljšanje kvalitete snage: Tehnička analiza

Non-linear load deteriorates the quality of current waveforms at the point of common coupling of various consumers. Active power filter (APFs) is used to mitigate the most concern harmonic pollution in an electrical network. The controller part is the nucleus of an active power filter configuration. Active power filter performance is affected significantly by the selection of current control techniques. The active filter and its current control must have the capability to track sudden slope variations in the current reference to compensate the distorted current drawn by the voltage source inverter. Therefore, the choice and implementation of the current regulator is more important for the achievement of a satisfactory performance level. In this survey, technical reviews of various types of controllers covering a wide range have been presented. This work also reveals the advantages and disadvantages of the practiced control strategies. The effectiveness of the study will help the researchers to choose the proper control methods for various applicationsof active power filter.Nelinearni tereti pogoršavaju kvalitetu strujnih valova u točki u kojoj se spaja više potrošača. Aktivni filtar snage se koristi za ublažavanje najvažnijeg harmoničkog onečišćenja strujne mreže. Jezgra aktivnog filtra snage je regulator. Na performanse aktivnog filtra snage značajno utječe odabir upravljačke tehnike. Aktivni filtar i njegova tehnika upravljanja strujom moraju imati mogućnost pratiti nagle skokove u referentnoj vrijednosti struje kako bi mogli kompenzirati izobličenja struje koju vuče inverter naponskog izvora. Zato su izbor i implementacija regulatora struje iznimno važni za postizanje zadovoljavajuće razine performansi. U ovom pregledu su predstavljene tehničke recenzije koje pokrivaju širok raspon regulatora. Ovaj rad također otkriva prednosti i mane korištenih strategija upravljanja. Determinación de los parámetros de un motor de inducción utilizando un algoritmo de optimización por cúmulo de partículas (PSO)

This document uses particle swarm optimization (PSO) for determining the parameters of induction motor. The error between the measured actual stator current output of an induction motor and its model is used as the criteria to correct the required parameters. Digital simulations no-load operations are used to identify the parameters. A comparison of two variants of the PSO algorithm (local PSO and global PSO) is used to verify the efficiency of each one and computational time is determined.Finally, the parameter identification sheme shown is implemented

Resección de fibroelastoma papilar mitral mediante cirugía mínimamente invasiva en paciente con accidente cerebrovascular

Paciente quien consultó con síntomas neurológicos y se realizó diagnóstico de accidente cerebrovascular embólico cuya etiología consistió en un tumor cardíaco de la válvula mitral (fibroelastoma) con confirmación histológica. Fue intervenido quirúrgicamente mediante técnica mínimamente invasiva a través del tórax, con excelente evolución, sininfección ni requerimientos sanguíneos; no presentó secuelas valvulares ni neurológicas. Se reportó reincorporación temprana a la vida laboral.We report the case of a patient who consulted with neurological symptoms and was diagnosed as embolic stroke, whose etiology was a mitral valve tumor (fibroeslastoma) histologically confirmed. The patient underwent surgery through minimally invasive technique through the chest, with excellent evolution, without infection or blood requirements; there were no valvular or neurological sequelae. An early return to working life was reported
