Neste artigo, os autores analisam as novas diretrizes curriculares do curso de pedagogia, objeto de normatização do Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE), em 2005, a partir do debate feito à luz do acervo de conhecimentos teórico-práticos sistematizados pelas principais entidades do campo educacional (ANFOPE, ANPED, CEDES, FORUMDIR, ANPAE).<A NAME="tx01"></A><A HREF="#nt01">1</A> Evidenciam, criticamente, alguns dos problemas e das tensões que marcam a trajetória desse curso ao longo da história da educação brasileira. Focalizam, no âmbito das políticas educacionais, em especial, o movimento dos educadores pela definição das diretrizes curriculares para a formação dos profissionais da Educação Básica, que reflete posições de ordem epistemológica, pedagógica e política atinentes às visões e aos projetos educacionais em disputa, no Brasil, nas últimas décadas. A problematização das diretrizes curriculares concorre para ampliar a compreensão da complexidade do campo da pedagogia e dos desafios teórico-práticos com que as instituições de ensino superior, em particular as universidades, deparam-se para materializar a reforma do curso de pedagogia, na esteira das novas regulamentações legais e na perspectiva de uma formação cidadã.<br>Based on the debate conducted in the light of the theoretical-practical knowledge acquired by the main organisms of the educational field (ANFOPE, ANPED, CEDES, FORUMDIR, ANPAE), the authors analyze the new curriculum guidelines of the pedagogy course, which was regulated by the Conselho Nacional de Educação (CNE - Brazilian Council for Education) in 2005. They critically highlight some of the problems and tensions that have marked the trajectory of this course along the history of Brazilian education. Within the educational policies, they more particularly focus on the educator movement for the definition of curriculum guidelines for the training of basic education professionals, which reflects some epistemological, pedagogical and political positions related to the educational visions and project in dispute, in Brazil, these last decades. Problematizing the curriculum guidelines helps understanding better how complex the field of pedagogy is and what theoretical-practical challenges face the higher education institutions, more particularly universities, in order to concretize the reform of the pedagogy course to comply with the new legal regulations but also from the point of view of a citizen training

Occurrence of white-winged vampire bat, Diaemus youngi (Mammalia, Chiroptera), in the Cerrado of Distrito Federal, Brazil Ocorrência de Diaemus youngi (Mammalia, Chiroptera) no Cerrado do Distrito Federal

Authors cite Diaemus youngi (Jentik, 1893) as occurring in all the Brazilian territory. In spite of that, there are no reports of capture sites for D. youngi in the literature for Distrito Federal or Cerrado of Central Brazil. Here we report the first precise record of this species for Central Brazil, rural area of Distrito Federal, and provide information on its biology, conservation and distribution in Brazil, according to our data and information from the literature.<br>A espécie Diaemus youngi (Jentik, 1893) é considerada por alguns autores como ocorrendo para todo o Brasil incluindo o bioma Cerrado e área rural do Distrito Federal. No entanto não há na literatura nenhum registro do local de coleta dessa espécie para essas regiões. Reportamos aqui o primeiro registro no Cerrado do Brasil Central, área rural do Distrito Federal, e alguns dados sobre a biologia, conservação e distribuição geográfica da espécie no Brasil, de acordo com dados desse trabalho e da literatura

Ocorrência e distribuição de pteridófitas na reserva florestal Walter Egler, Amazônia Central, Brasil Occurrence and distribution of the pteridophytes in the Walter Egler Forest reserve, Central Amazonian, Brazil

Na Reserva Florestal Walter Egler, localizada a 64 km de Manaus, no município de Rio Preto da Eva, foi investigada a ocorrência de Pteridófitas ao longo de uma toposseqüência. O grupo ocorre nos três ambientes observados na área (baixio, vertente e platô) com diferença tanto qualitativa quanto quantitativa. Foram registrados 375 indivíduos, distribuídos em oito famílias, 10 gêneros e 17 espécies; entre epífitas, hemiepífitas, herbáceas e arbóreas. Das 8 famílias, 4 ocorrem em todos os ambientes: Dennstaedtiaceae, Hymenophyllaceae, Dryopteridaceae e Lomariopsidaceae, enquanto, Cyatheaceae e Vittariaceae ocorrem apenas no baixio. Das 17 espécies encontradas, sete ocorrem apenas no baixio, três na vertente e cinco são comuns em todos os ambientes.<br>The occurrence of Pteridophytes was investigated along a transect at the Walter Egler Forest reserve, located 64 km from Manaus in the municipality of Rio Preto da Eva. The group occurs on the three landscapes observed in the area (lowland, slope and plateau) with a both qualitative and quantitative difference. Three hundred and seventy five (375) individuals were established, distributed in 8 families, 10 genera and 17 species; among epiphytes, hemepiphytes, herbaceous and arboreal. Of the 8 families, 4 occur on all landscapes: Dennstaedtiaceae, Hymenophyllaceae, Dryopteridaceae and Lomariopsidaceae, whereas, Cyatheaceae and Vittariaceae occur only on lowland. Of the 17 identified species, 7 occur only lowland, 3 on slope, and 5 are common on all landscapes
