Analysis of the Application of Universal Design Standards to Interior-Architecture Design

A lot of research shows the findings of cases of public facilities that are not accessible to people with disabilities and see the importance of a design especially in the field of architecture-interior that is able to produce a user-friendly and barrier-free built environment ) Accessibility rights for persons with disabilities are regulated in various regulations starting from the regulations in the central government in the form of laws, government regulations, to ministerial regulations on public works and regional regulations. There is one regulation of the minister of public works and Republic of Indonesia's public housing No.14 2017 which regulates the provision of facilities in buildings and the environment that meet the needs of all age groups and conditions of physical, mental, and intellectual, or sensory limitations based on the function of buildings users and visitors on activities in public buildings, but this guideline has not been discussed in detail. This study is intended to review the analysis of universal design standards in the Interior-Architecture design process specifically in public buildings. Analisis Pola Konsumsi dan Tingkat Kerawanan Pangan Petani Lahan Kering di Kabupaten Gunungkidul (Studi Kasus di Desa Giritirto, Kecamatan Purwosari, Gunungkidul)

Gunungkidul was being as an extreme nature and categorized as marginal land which was cause food shortages in some districts. One of the district experienced food shortages in 2013 was Purwosari. This research aimed to find out the food consumption patterns and relation among land area, income and educational levels of the dry land farmers toward the food shortages level. The research method used in this study was descriptive technique by giving explanation from statistic data (percentage, mean, data range, frequency distribution, cross tabulation). Moreover, in order to measure the food shortages leve this study used the comparison formula between the number of poor people consuming food with the nutrition daily value as much as 2,150 calories. The research findings show that the average daily individual consumption was 1274.25 Kkal, and categorized as people who are extremely food shortages. The calories are mostly gained from consuming rice, corn and tempe, as daily consumption patterns. The levels of farmers\u27 income, farming land areas, and level of education are not related to the food shortages level

Pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan, Profitabilitas, dan Leverage terhadap Sustainability Disclosure

This study aims to analyze the effect firm size, profitability and leverage to sustainability disclosure. Firm size, profitability, and leverage as independent variables is measured using a log from total aset, ROA, and book value of financial debt to total assets ratio. Sustainability disclosure acts as a dependent variable measured using GRI values. The sample in this study is based on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which issued sustainability disclosure in 2013-2015. Sample selection method used is purposive sampling method. This research uses analytical technique that is ordinary least square. The results revealed that the firm size positively affect sustainability disclosure. However, profitability and leverage has no effect on sustainability disclosure

Pengaruh Arus Kas Aktivitas Operasi terhadap Tingkat Likuiditas

The purpose of this research is to analyze the growth of the operating cash flow and the level of liquidity at PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk , and also to the influence of operating cash flow to liquidity at PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk. The research method using descriptive method and technique of statistics are Correlation, The coefficient of Determination, Linier Regression Analysis and Hypothesis Test, which helped by SPSS 22.00 for Windows program. The research results are 1) The growth rate of the cash flow operating activities always increase every year. 2) The growth rate of the level of liquidity at PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk is fluctuating every year. 3) Operating cash flow give no significant effect on the level of liquidity, the effect is only 51,84%. TiO2/Kaolin composite as low-cost adsorbent for procion red removal from aqueous solution: kinetics, equilibrium, and thermodynamic studies

ABSTRACT. Procion red is one of the most utilized textile dyes by numerous textile factories worldwide. Unfortunately, it has a detrimental effect on the ecosystem whenever it was released into the environment as textile wastewater. In this work, the removal of procion red from aqueous solution has been conducted by adsorption with modified natural kaolin as a low-cost adsorbent. Kaolin was systematically modified by thermal activation then followed by acid activation in different acid concentration. Activated kaolin sample was then mixed with TiO2 to produce TiO2/Kaolin composite. Activated kaolin and TiO2/Kaolin composite were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). Various operational variables that affect the adsorption process were taken into consideration, including the effect of initial pH, contact time, initial dye concentration, and temperature. The adsorption parameters of kinetics, isotherm, and thermodynamics were also studied according to the most common model established. The results showed that the procion red adsorption was pH-dependent and reached equilibrium at 90 min. The kinetics study was revealed that the adsorption process was better demonstrated by the pseudo-first-order rather than the pseudo-second-order model. The adsorption isotherm investigation showed that the adsorption process was followed both Langmuir and Freundlich model with qe reached 158 mg/g, and the adsorption process was predicted in favorable condition. The thermodynamic study revealed that the adsorption process is spontaneous with endothermic nature. According to the results, it can be considered that the TiO2/Kaolin composite adsorbent has better adsorption capability to the procion red.               KEY WORDS: Activated kaolin, TiO2, Composite, Adsorption, Procion red Bull.
