A multilevel system of algorithms for detecting and isolating signals in a background of noise
Signal information is processed with the help of algorithms, and then on the basis of such processing, a part of the information is subjected to further processing with the help of more precise algorithms. Such a system of algorithms is studied, a comparative evaluation of a series of lower level algorithms is given, and the corresponding algorithms of higher level are characterized
Steady (robust) conditionally effective estimation of parameters
The concept of conditionally-effective estimation which provides optimum estimates for a given criterion in cases of given limitations is examined. The concept has the best accuracy for given limitation on the suitability of the algorithm concerning the deviation of the law governing error distribution from the proposed law. It is concluded that there must be a greater difference between individual algorithms in terms of difficulty, and that for the linear regression problem algorithms based on excluding lost points should be studied
FEATURES OF PHYSIOLOGICAL AND PHOTOSYNTHETIC ACTIVITY OF MAIZE PLANTS AT USING NON-TRADITIONAL ORGANIC FERTILIZERS
The use of fertilizers in cultivation of crops is an objective necessity. However, their use has a negative impact on environment and especially on the soil polluting it with heavy metals. Organic fertilizers can significantly improve physical and chemical soil properties and increase its fertility. In connection with deficiency of manure particular interest represents using of waste as non-conventional fertilizers, in particular waste of alcohol production. Using of high-dose alcohol stillage stronger growth processes and number of leaves, which leads to an increase of maize photosynthetic activity and productivity. Maximum formation of green mass was observed in variant with a dose of making alcohol stillage 40 m3/ha during vegetation
Algorithm and program for information processing with the filin apparatus
The reduction of spectral radiation data from space sources is described. The algorithm and program for identifying segments of information obtained from the Film telescope-spectrometer on the Salyut-4 are presented. The information segments represent suspected X-ray sources. The proposed algorithm is an algorithm of the lowest level. Following evaluation, information free of uninformative segments is subject to further processing with algorithms of a higher level. The language used is FORTRAN 4
Silica sol-gel materials with metal and semiconductor nanoparticles: synthesis, structure and optical features
Recent achievements on fabrication, structure and optical features of the metal- and semiconductor-doped silica sol-gel materials are reviewed. The nanoparticles of copper and copper compounds (oxides, sulfides and selenides) have been
produced by means of the modified silica-based sol-gel technique within the two
types of materials: amorphous silica films and monolithic glasses. The features of
optical absorption are discussed in dependence on chemical composition. They are
variable by stoichiometry of the compounds, size of particles, their concentration
and localization in the matrix. These factors determine optical properties of mate-
rials and open pathways of their application, in particular, as switching and beam-controlling elements in near-IR lasers. The quantum confinement and a partial surface chemical modification of the nanoparticles are considered as possible
reasons for occurrence of the optical features specific for the copper multivalent
compounds
Structural studies of the silica sol-gel glasses doped with copper selenide nanoparticles with plasmonic resonance absorption
Background: Semiconductor-doped glasses are treated actively through many
years and continue to be of great interest because challenged features of
nanosized semiconductors of various chemical nature. Copper chalcogenides have
discovered the plasmonic properties in line with quantum confinement effects
specific for major of semiconductor nanoparticles. Objective: The aim of this
work is to study structural and optical features of the sol-gel derived silica
glasses with copper selenide nanoparticles demonstrating appearance of the
plasmonic light absorption in the near IR range. Method: The samples under
study were fabricated through an original sol-gel technique realizing the
simultaneous synthesis of copper selenide and sintering of mesoporous silica.
The copper selenide glasses were characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD),
transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and optical absorption spectroscopy.
Results: Formation of nanocrystalline Cu2-xSe particles of the size range from
tens nm through 100-150 nm is established with XRD and TEM techniques. The
principal optical properties are presented by the featured absorption in the
visible and near-IR ranges. Eg was evaluated for the direct transitions in the
range of 2.10-2.36 eV. The plasmonic resonance in the nanoparticles due to
increased carrier concentration originated by intrinsic defectness of Cu2-xSe
nanoparticles with variable stoichiometry. Its energy can be controlled by
Cu/Se ratio in the synthesis procedure.Comment: 16 pages including 5 figure
A big data approach towards sarcasm detection in Russian
We present a set of deterministic algorithms for Russian inflection and
automated text synthesis. These algorithms are implemented in a publicly
available web-service www.passare.ru. This service provides functions for
inflection of single words, word matching and synthesis of grammatically
correct Russian text. Selected code and datasets are available at
https://github.com/passare-ru/PassareFunctions/ Performance of the inflectional
functions has been tested against the annotated corpus of Russian language
OpenCorpora, compared with that of other solutions, and used for estimating the
morphological variability and complexity of different parts of speech in
Russian.Comment: arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1706.0255
Surface composition of the Co-Cr based alloys after different lab denture treatments using auger electron spectroscopy
Towards understanding the ordering behavior of hard needles: New analytical solutions in one dimension
We re-examine the ordering behavior of a one-dimensional fluid of freely
rotating hard needles, where the centers of mass of the particles are
restricted to a line. Analytical equations are obtained for the equation of
state, order parameter and orientational correlation functions using the
transfer-matrix method if some simplifying assumptions are applied for either
the orientational freedom or the contact distance between two needles. The
two-state Zwanzig model accounts for the orientational ordering, but it
produces unphysical pressure at high densities and there is no orientational
correlation. The four-state Zwanzig model gives reasonable results for
orientational correlation function, but the pressure is still poorly
represented at high densities. In the continuum limit, apart from the
orientational correlation length it is managed to reproduce all relevant bulk
properties of the hard needles using an approximate formula for the contact
distance. The results show that the orientational correlation length diverges
at zero and infinite pressures. The high density behavior of needles is not
resolved.Comment: 21 pages, 3 figure
