Etnografi Komunikasi dalam Ibadah Sekolah Minggu Huria Kristen Batak Protestan (Hkbp) Maranatha Kecamatan Payung Sekaki

HKBP Maranatha Sunday School is one of the church which is devoted to children aged 3-13 years old in Pekanbaru. However, in practice, HKBP Maranatha Sunday School has its own uniqueness that is the use of local languages which is Batak language as the intermediate language. Language became one of the important factors in the implementation of the communication process where the Ethnography of Communication stressed that language can not be separated from how and why the language was used. This study aims to determine the Ethnography of Communication in Sunday School Worship of Huria Kristen Batak Protestant (HKBP) Maranatha District of Payung Sekaki. The purpose of this study was to determine how the communicative situation, communicative events and communicative acts in worship sunday school . The type of research is qualitative. While research method used is an ethnography of communication. Most of the data collected through observation and interviews. Informants in this study were Sunday school chidren, Sunday school teacher and also sintua which selected by using purposive technique. Techniques of collecting data was through interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that the communicative situation was happened in HKBP Maranatha Sunday school where the situations didnt conducive because the children didnt understand the Batak Language. Communicative events based on the type of event that is a religious service. Topics discussed are about the Bible story. The function of using Batak language is to preserve and familiarize the use of Batak language in worship. Setting occurs in HKBP Maranatha held at the end of the month. Participants are sunday school children, Sunday school teacher, sintua and keyboardist. Action communicative is in the form of commands or messages which given by Sunday school teachers to organize the worship, given by sintua to pray and read the Bible and Sunday school children as listener and the implementer.Keywords: Etnography Of Communication, Communicative Situation, Action Communication , Communication Event, Batak Language, Sunday School

In this study, SINDOnews.com is an internet mass media site that has a tagline, "Trusted Source of Information".At the end of 2015, there was a conflict between Marquez and Rossi. Their feud at that time became a warm conversation in various circles. Understanding filmmakers about cinemas, that are adequate but did not get support to develop their work with a wide audience . It makes filmmakers in Indonesia trying to attend the festival which is held metro tv. Besides become famous, sineas are also filmmakers received support facilities in making a documentary flim and get in-depth education cinema.The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study using interviews . The location of this research will be carried out at the office of Digital Single Lens Reflect Cinematography Indonesia ( DCI Pekanbaru ) Jalan Cendrawasih No. 23 , Tangkerang , Pekanbaru . Subjects in this study are community members Cinematography Digital Single Lens Reflect Indonesia ( DCI pekanbaru ) , while objects in the study in this research is the interest of filmmakers follow the film festival . For data analysis , researchers used a method of interactive analysis and Hubberman Miles . As for checking the validity of the data , researchers used data triangulation technique.The results showed that the activity is the community DSLR Cinematography Indonesia (DCI Pekanbaru) in attracting filmmakers follow the film festival include the extension and various activities throughout high school in the city of Pekanbaru, Obstacles facing the community DSLR Cinematography Indonesia (DCI Pekanbaru) in attracting filmmakers follow the film festival among others, issues of time constraints, where filmmakers and the member of the community has its own activities beyond their duties as members. Mutation of Directed Graphs -- Corresponding Regular Expressions and Complexity of Their Generation

Directed graphs (DG), interpreted as state transition diagrams, are traditionally used to represent finite-state automata (FSA). In the context of formal languages, both FSA and regular expressions (RE) are equivalent in that they accept and generate, respectively, type-3 (regular) languages. Based on our previous work, this paper analyzes effects of graph manipulations on corresponding RE. In this present, starting stage we assume that the DG under consideration contains no cycles. Graph manipulation is performed by deleting or inserting of nodes or arcs. Combined and/or multiple application of these basic operators enable a great variety of transformations of DG (and corresponding RE) that can be seen as mutants of the original DG (and corresponding RE). DG are popular for modeling complex systems; however they easily become intractable if the system under consideration is complex and/or large. In such situations, we propose to switch to corresponding RE in order to benefit from their compact format for modeling and algebraic operations for analysis. Intranet is an internal media owned by PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai based online. Within the Intranet there is information and news about the company\u27s policies and activities which in the process are carried out by Communications and Relations Section, Team Media Support exactly. News published is the result of coverage by Team Media Support. Thus this study aims to find out how Implementation of Jurnalistic Values in News Writing at Intranet as Internal Media PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit II Dumai.This research uses descriptive method qualitative, data collecting technique using observation, in-depth interview and documentation. The informants were chosen by purposive sampling by selecting informants based on certain characteristics, the informant consisted of Head of Communication and Relations, Junior Officer Communication and Relations, Personnel of Team Media Support, and three employees as news reading on Intranet. Data analysis technique using data analysis by Miles and Huberman models.The results of this study show that : 1). Team Media Support has implemented reports/ direct observations in the coverage, but not all coverage is accompanied by interviews and there is also no literature research. 2). For news writing, Team Media Support has not fully understood how to writing a news with news values. 3). For news editing techniques that have been done by the right people and competent, but the efficiency time of editing is still not right because only the Head of Communications and Relationship can does, so that there are some news that has been written can not be published on the same day. 4). The main constraining factor in the implementation is the lack of competent human resources in the field of journalism, while the supporting factor is the Intranet has played an appropriate role as the company\u27s internal media, because with the Intranet dissemination of information more effective and environmentally friendly

Representasi Budaya Batak Toba Dalam Film Toba Dreams

This Study aimed to analyze the semiotic meaning about cultural of Batak Toba in ToBa Dreams film with researching the dennotative meaning, connotative meaning, and Myth/Ideology according to Roland Barthes\u27s. In addition, this study also aimed to find out how the Batak Toba Culture is represented through the ToBa Dreams Film.The method of this study is a qualitative research. The technique of collecting data is using documentation study, observation study, library study, and online data search. The object to analyse is the scenes in ToBa Dreams film as much as five scenes.The result of this study showed that there are three meanings according to Roland Barthes\u27s semiotic, dennotative meaning that seen in the scenes of ToBa Dreams is representating Batak Toba through the actors/actress, literal meaning from dialogues, nature condition, Tourist attraction at Toba Lake, and monuments of the custom home and typical graves of Batak Toba. Connotative meaning in this film is formed by action of characters, the meaning of speech based on the meaning implied in the dialogue that conveyed depict the values, customs, kinship relations, moral messages, and the belief system of Batak Toba society is dominant with the teachings of Christians. The meaning of myth / ideology contained in several scenes is interpreted through literature study about batak culture that understand custom values, patrinilial system, customs, and tolerance among religious people who have became a culture among the Batak Toba people

Electron cloud buildup and impedance effects on beam dynamics in the future circular e+e− collider and experimental characterization of thin TiZrV vacuum chamber coatings

The Future Circular Collider FCC-ee is a study toward a high luminosity electron-positron collider with a centre-of-mass energy from 91 GeV to 365 GeV. Due to the beam parameters and pipe dimensions, collective effects and electron cloud can be very critical aspects for the machine and can represent the main limitations to its performance. An estimation of the electron cloud build up in the main machine components and an impedance model are required to analyze the induced instabilities and to find solutions for their mitigation. Special attention has been given to the resistive wall impedance associated with a layer of nonevaporable getter (NEG) coating on the vacuum chamber required for electron cloud mitigation. The studies presented in this paper will show that minimizing the thickness of this coating layer is mandatory to increase the single bunch instability thresholds in the proposed lepton collider at 45.6 GeV. For this reason, NEG thin films with thicknesses below 250 nm have been investigated by means of numerical simulations to minimize the resistive wall impedance. In parallel, an extensive measurement campaign was performed at CERN to characterize these thin films, with the purpose of finding the minimum effective thickness satisfying vacuum and electron cloud requirements

Correlating densities of centrality and activities in cities : the cases of Bologna (IT) and Barcelona (ES)

This paper examines the relationship between street centrality and densities of commercial and service activities in cities. The aim is to verify whether a correlation exists and whether some 'secondary' activities, i.e. those scarcely specialized oriented to the general public and ordinary daily life, are more linked to street centrality than others. The metropolitan area of Barcelona (Spain) is investigated, and results are compared with those found in a previous work on the city of Bologna (Italy). Street centrality is calibrated in a multiple centrality assessment (MCA) model composed of multiple measures such as closeness, betweenness and straightness. Kernel density estimation (KDE) is used to transform data sets of centrality and activities to one scale unit for correlation analysis between them. Results indicate that retail and service activities in both Bologna and Barcelona tend to concentrate in areas with better centralities, and that secondary activities exhibit a higher correlation
