Pengaruh Kompetensi dan Pengembangan Karir terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dengan Komitmen Organisasional sebagai Variabel Mediasi (Studi Pegawai Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran ( Pip ) Semarang)
An organization would expect the productivity of its employees for the achievement of organizational goals. Work
productivity is seen as the ability of employees to achieve the desired results, in achieving the desired results would
require a positive work attitude of employees. Therefore it is expected for the organization must be aware and create a
management system that takes into account the factors that affect the work attitude of employees in order to achieve the
goals of the organization itself. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of competence and career
development to organizational commitment in the EmployeeSeamanshipPolytechnicSemarang. To analyze the effect of

A comparison of the hypoglycemic effect of insulin with systemic venous and portal venous administration
The hyperglycemic effect of insulin by prolonged intraportal and systemic infusion was measured in unanesthetized dogs with a modified portacaval transposition. There was no significant difference in response with the two routes of administration. The relation of these results to research directed to surgical therapy of diabetes is discussed. © 1963 W. B. The oxygen isotopic composition (18O/16O) in the dust of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko measured by COSIMA on-board Rosetta
The oxygen isotopic ratio 18O/16O has been
measured in cometary gas for a wide variety of comets, but the only
measurements in cometary dust were performed by the Stardust cometary
sample return mission. Most such measurements find a value of the ratio
that is consistent with Vienna Standard Mean Ocean Water (VSMOW) within
errors. In this work we present the result of a measurement, using the
COSIMA (the COmetary Secondary Ion Mass Analyser) instrument on the
Rosetta orbiter, of the oxygen isotopic ratio in dust from Comet
67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Measuring the 18O/16O
ratio with COSIMA is challenging for a number of reasons, but it is
possible with a reasonable degree of precision. We find a result of
2.00 × 10−3 ± 1.2 × 10−4, which is consistent within errors with VSMOW.</p
The 34S/32S isotopic ratio measured in the dust of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko by Rosetta/COSIMA
The isotopic ratio 34S/32S has been measured in cometary gas for a few comets, but it has only been measured in cometary dust by stardust.
The dust measurements find a value of the ratio that is consistent with
the Vienna Canyon Diablo Troilite value of 0.0442 within errors, but
there is more spread in the values from cometary gas. In this paper, we
present the result of measurements of the sulphur isotopic ratio in dust
from Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko with the COSIMA instrument aboard
the Rosetta spacecraft. We find a result of 0.0463 ± 0.0057, which is consistent within errors with the terrestrial value.</p
Why Give Birth in Health Facility? Users' and Providers' Accounts of Poor Quality of Birth Care in Tanzania.
In Tanzania, half of all pregnant women access a health facility for delivery. The proportion receiving skilled care at birth is even lower. In order to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, the government has set out to increase health facility deliveries by skilled care. The aim of this study was to describe the weaknesses in the provision of acceptable and adequate quality care through the accounts of women who have suffered obstetric fistula, nurse-midwives at both BEmOC and CEmOC health facilities and local community members. Semi-structured interviews involving 16 women affected by obstetric fistula and five nurse-midwives at maternity wards at both BEmOC and CEmOC health facilities, and Focus Group Discussions with husbands and community members were conducted between October 2008 and February 2010 at Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania and Temeke hospitals in Dar es Salaam, and Mpwapwa district in Dodoma region. Health care users and health providers experienced poor quality caring and working environments in the health facilities. Women in labour lacked support, experienced neglect, as well as physical and verbal abuse. Nurse-midwives lacked supportive supervision, supplies and also seemed to lack motivation. There was a consensus among women who have suffered serious birth injuries and nurse midwives staffing both BEmOC and CEmOC maternity wards that the quality of care offered to women in birth was inadequate. While the birth accounts of women pointed to failure of care, the nurses described a situation of disempowerment. The bad birth care experiences of women undermine the reputation of the health care system, lower community expectations of facility birth, and sustain high rates of home deliveries. The only way to increase the rate of skilled attendance at birth in the current Tanzanian context is to make facility birth a safer alternative than home birth. The findings from this study indicate that there is a long way to go
The course of traumatic pancreatitis in a patient with pancreas divisum: a case report
BACKGROUND: The peculiar anatomy of pancreatic ducts in pancreas divisum (PD) may interfere with the development of acute chronic pancreatitis. In the presented case, PD influenced the evolution of lesions after pancreatic trauma. CASE PRESENTATION: A 38 years old patient refferred to our hospital with recurrent episodes of mild pancreatitis during the last two years. The first episode occurred four months after blunt abdominal trauma. Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging of upper abdomen and Magnetic Resonance Cholangiopancreatography disclosed pancreas divisum, changes consistent with chronic pancreatitis in the dorsal pancreatic duct, atrophy in the body and tail of the pancreas and a pseudocyst in the pancreatic head, that was drained endoscopically. CONCLUSION: Pancreas Divisum may interfere with the evolution of posttraumatic changes in the pancreas after blunt abdominal trauma
Thoracoscopic-assisted repair of a bochdalek hernia in an adult: a case report
<p>Abstract</p> <p>Introduction</p> <p>Bochdalek hernia is a congenital defect of the diaphragm that usually presents in the neonatal period with life-threatening cardiorespiratory distress. It is rare for Bochdalek hernias to remain silent until adulthood. Once a Bochdalek hernia has been diagnosed, surgical treatment is necessary to avoid complications such as perforation and necrosis.</p> <p>Case presentation</p> <p>We present a 17-year-old Japanese boy with left-upper-quadrant pain for two months. Chest radiography showed an elevated left hemidiaphragm. Computed tomography revealed a congenital diaphragmatic hernia. The spleen and left colon had been displaced into the left thoracic cavity through a left posterior diaphragmatic defect. We diagnosed a Bochdalek hernia. Surgical treatment was performed via a thoracoscopic approach. The boy was placed in the reverse Trendelenburg position and intrathoracic pressure was increased by CO2 gas insufflations. This is a very useful procedure for reducing herniated contents and we were able to place the herniated organs safely back in the peritoneal cavity. The diaphragmatic defect was too large to close with thoracoscopic surgery alone. Small incision thoracotomy was required and primary closure was performed. His postoperative course was uneventful and there has been no recurrence of the diaphragmatic hernia to date.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Thoracoscopic surgery, performed with the boy in the reverse Trendelenburg position and using CO2 gas insufflations in the thoracic cavity, was shown to be useful for Bochdalek hernia repair.</p
