AYURVEDIC GARBHA VIKAS KRAM IN CONTEXT TO EMBRYOGENESIS AND FOETAL DEVELOPMENT

    Get PDF
Sushrut samhita is one of those Ayurvedic classic which deals with human anatomy and physiology. It gives precise description of Garbha vruddhi and vikas kram though there were no modern imaging techniques like sonography. Different Granthas state various views regarding Garbha utpatti and Garbha vriddhi. Acharyas have also mentioned Garbhini lakshana which are helpful in diagnosis of early pregnancy. Charak has mentioned signs observed in Garbhini with progression of pregnancy. Whereas modern obstetrics is one of the most cardinal branch which concerned with human reproduction. This science provide each minute detail regarding foetal growth and development. Tremendous research has been done in the field of modern obstetrics.Foetal deaths and neonatal mortality is always an issue of concern. One can get relevant references of these issues in Samhitas. Acharyas has mentioned topic of Garbha in concise form. Extensive study and discussion is essential to understand ancient concept of Garbha vikas. Review of Ayurvedic text along with modern text will help to obtain knowledge regarding this. This study is an attempt to elaborate and compare both ancient and modern concept of embryogenesis. There might be some variation when we consider both perspectives. But it is really interesting to find similarities beside a huge gap of time

Performance of the CMS High Granularity Calorimeter prototype to charged pion beams of 20-300 GeV/c

The upgrade of the CMS experiment for the high luminosity operation of the LHC comprises the replacement of the current endcap calorimeter by a high granularity sampling calorimeter (HGCAL). The electromagnetic section of the HGCAL is based on silicon sensors interspersed between lead and copper (or copper tungsten) absorbers. The hadronic section uses layers of stainless steel as an absorbing medium and silicon sensors as an active medium in the regions of high radiation exposure, and scintillator tiles directly readout by silicon photomultipliers in the remaining regions. As part of the development of the detector and its readout electronic components, a section of a silicon-based HGCAL prototype detector along with a section of the CALICE AHCAL prototype was exposed to muons, electrons and charged pions in beam test experiments at the H2 beamline at the CERN SPS in October 2018. The AHCAL uses the same technology as foreseen for the HGCAL but with much finer longitudinal segmentation. The performance of the calorimeters in terms of energy response and resolution, longitudinal and transverse shower profiles is studied using negatively charged pions, and is compared to GEANT4 predictions. This is the first report summarizing results of hadronic showers measured by the HGCAL prototype using beam test data.Comment: To be submitted to JINS

Early presentation of ruptured post-traumatic hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm

Visceral artery aneurysms (VAA) are an uncommon but well recognized condition. Hepatic artery aneurysms (HAA) represent 14-20% of all visceral artery aneurysms. Post traumatic hepatic artery pseudoaneurysm is an uncommon delayed complication of blunt liver trauma. Here we present a case of a 27 year old male with blunt abdominal trauma who developed a post traumatic pseudoaneurysm of the hepatic artery just proximal to its bifurcation into the left and right branches. The pseudoaneurysm ruptured within 12 hours of injury and he required double ligation of the hepatic artery as well as right and left hepatic arteries . However, the bleeding continued through the retrograde flow from the gastroduodenal artery and hence, ligation of gastrodudenal artery was also done. The decision of complete devasularisation of liver was taken as an emergency lifesaving procedure. The patient recovered and was discharged without sequel

Advertisement plays an important and very significant role in sale of any goods and services in the market. It is one of the best way of communication with the consumers. Advertisement helps to inform about the availability of various brands in the market. It helps to provides detail information about the products to everyone including the kids, women, men, youth and senior citizens in the nation. There are having various modes of advertisement such as display advertisement, native advertising, print advertisement, direct mail advertisement, television advertisement, radio advertisement, social media advertisement, outdoor advertisement and public services advertisement. Advertisement is very powerful tool of marketing which directly and indirectly increasing the sale of various products in the market. Advertising plays an important role in introduction of new of product, introduction of new brand of products, creation of awareness, acquiring the customers, increasing the sale, profits and recognition in the market

    Power Modelling Of L.c.d. Display

Now days most of embedded system used are battery operated. To predict the battery life, power consumption at various levels, like software and power taken by peripheral devices should be known in advance. The components of total power consumption are software power & power taken by peripheral devices these should be known to the designer. In this paper for prediction the modelling of L.C.D. by using statistical tools i.e. regression analysis. Here we must understand how much power required to display a particular character

Design and Construction of Synthetic Box

Plastic bottles are generally used for the consumption purpose may be it is solid, liquid, or gaseous material. We all know that the plastic is non-decomposable material and if it gets decompose it takes 1000 of years. While bio-degradation it releases toxic fumes which is very harmful to the environment. So we are using plastic bottles in our construction. We are filling these plastic bottles by the fly ash with very proper compaction and replacing bricks in the construction by these bottles
