Women's Experiences of Sexual Problems After Cervical Cancer Treatment: Lessons From Indonesian Women

Cervical cancer remains the most common cancer among women. It is the second major cause of women’s deaths in Asia as well as in Indonesia. Cervical cancer treatment also raises issues of long-term physical, psychological, sexual, and social adaptation. The purpose of the study was to describe and to interpret the experiences of Indonesian women who have experienced sexual dysfunction after cervical cancer treatment. Thirteen Indonesian women who were participated in this study described their experiences on the first to two years after cervical cancer treatment. Data were collected through in-depth interviews. Four themes were identified (1) physical and psychological sexual complaints after cancer treatment; (2) negative effects of cancer treatment towards intimate relationship with their spouse; (3) efforts to overcome sexual problems; and (4) women’s needs for help to improve their sexual health. These studyfindings offer providing new insights into the experiences of Indonesian women with sexual health problems following cervical cancer treatment. This study can provide nurses and other health care providers with better understanding of the experiences, concern and needs of the cancer survivors

Effects of Acupoint Stimulation with Digital Massager of Oxytocin on the Breast Milk Production of Working Mothers

Background: Many breastfeeding mothers find that their milk production decreases or even stops when they return to work due to reduced breastfeeding hormones. Massage can stimulate the oxytocin hormone, and to replace the manual massage, a digital massager of oxytocin (DMO) is developed.Purpose: This study aimed to identify the effects of the DMO on the milk production of the breastfeeding working mothers. Methods: This study employed a quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were 93 breastfeeding working mothers in the community with a baby below 6 months. The samples were assigned into the intervention group (n=46) and the control group (n=47). An intervention of using the DMO was given to the mothers in the intervention group by applying the electrodes on the first intercostae of BL-17 and Bl-18 acupoints for 20 minutes in 3 consecutive days. Meanwhile, a standard treatment was given to the control group. Breast milk expression was carried out before and after the use of DMO. The data were analyzed using the Mann-Whitney and the Wilcoxon tests. Results: The results showed that there were differences in the volume of the expressed breast milk before and after the use of the DMO (p=0.00). The mothers in the intervention group increased their milk production on an average of 23 ml when other variables affecting the breastfeeding were controlled. Conclusion: The DMO stimulated and increased the milk production of working mothers. It can also be an alternative to the complementary therapy, especially for the nursing care management of breastfeeding mothers

Introduction: Ability to care of postcaesarean mother affected by multifactor; moternal characteristic, knowledge and cultural values. Postcaesarean mother has high level of dependency in performing selfcare and baby care. The aim of this study was to identified of selfcare and baby care and relation with that factors and cultural behaviour associaated pospartum care. Method: this study used cross sectional design with a purpossive sampling of 66 post caesarean mother ini five hospital in West Java. Instrumen used consisted of maternal characteristic including ages, parity, job, income, knowledga, cultural values, cultural behaviour and observasional instruments of the ability to care. Result: there was a significant relationship between job characteristic and cultural values with the ability to care, for the correlation r 0.295 an 0.355 (p value = 0.003). Discussion: nurses must perform a cultural approach in facilitating the mother to care for themselves and care for the baby in accordance with their cultural values, so that the mother can perform optimally care

This research is a type of Research and Development (R & D) research which aims to develop learning design in Electronics 3 courses in Vocational Education in Electronic Engineering, Jakarta State University. The research method used in this study is to adopt the ADDIE instructional design model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The learning design development phase includes: (1) Analysis phase; (2) Design stage; (3) Production stage; (4) Trial stage and (5) Evaluation stage. Data collection methods in this study include testing the feasibility of material content by 2 material experts, the feasibility of constructing media by 1 media expert as well as the feasibility test of use for 5th semester students of Vocational Education in Electronic Engineering Jakarta State University by giving questionnaires to these three aspects. Data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate the percentage of the feasibility of developing learning design was 91.5% for content eligibility of material experts, 83.40% for the feasibility of media constructs from media experts, and 86.4% for the results of trial use of students. Of the three results, the development of learning design falls into the very feasible category to be used as an electronic learning design 3 in Electronic Engineering Vocational Education, Jakarta State University. The results of data analysis state that (1) Electronics 3 learning design can improve learning outcomes; (2) students have satisfaction when implementing this learning design. The findings of this study are to produce a comprehensive learning design in accordance with the objectives of Electronics learning 3.     Keywords: instructional design, ADDIE, electronics 3

This research aims to identify the spread and potential of superior agro-industries at the districts level and at regency level, also formulating the alternative strategies that can be applied in developingWonosobo Regency. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Methods of data analysis used are Comparative method of Exponential (MPE), Bordas method and SWOT analysis. The results analysis of Comparative method of Exponential (MPE) show superior home-scale agro-industry at the district level in Wonosobo are : palm sugar, cassava chips, candied carica, candied snakefruit etc. Borda method shows first rank of agro-industries in Wonosobo regency is agro-industry of candied carica, with a value of borda 329,764,510.1. Alternative strategies can be applied to develop candied carica agro-industries areusing capital from investors to modernization facilities of production, collaborating with government agencies and private institutions to introduced candied carica, training and coaching through the Association of Carica Entrepreneurs (APC), maximizing the number of carica plants and intensify cropping carica, creating policies that can protect agro-industry of candied carica, improving the quality of candied carica, efficiency in the use of technology and strengthening cooperation among members of the APC

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect Return On Assets (ROA) of financial reports to the commercial banking industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2008-2012. ROA helps management to take into account the bank's overall profitability and aims to measure the ability of bank management in managing the assets under their cintrol to income. The examined factors of this research are depossit to assets ratio, capital adequacy ratio, net interest margin, nonperforming loans, inflation, gross domestic product and industry production growth as the independence variable and retun on assets as the dependent variable. The data that was used in this research was secondary data and selected by using purposive sampling method. Research sample are Indonesian commercial banks listed in 2008-2012 at Bursa Efek Indonesia. Based on analytical results shows that only variable net interest margin and nonperforming loans have significant influence toward return on assets, while fifth variable depossits to assets ratio, capital adequacy ratio, inflation, gross domestic product and industry production growth doesn't have significant influence toward return on assets

The effect of current density on thickness and crystal structures of the coatings in the electroplating of nickel on copper has been investigated. The electroplating of nickel was conducted at a voltage of 0.5 V for 10 minutes with varied current densities of 0.3 mA/cm2 ; 0.6 mA/cm2 ; 0.9 mA/cm2 ; and 1 mA/cm2 . The nickel coatings werw tested by thickness measurement and crystal structures determination. The experimental results showed that the thickness of the nickel coatings increased as the current density increased. The XRD characterization of the nickel coatings revealed the diffraction patterns for cubic structures with orientation of (111) and (200). As the current density increases, the crystal with (111) and (200) orientation tends to be formed more lagely. Key Words: electroplating, thickness, crystal structur
