Effect of non-solvent additives on the structure and performance of PVDF hollow fiber membrane contactor for CO2 stripping

Microporous polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) hollow fiber membranes with various non-solvent additives, i.e. lithium chloride, glycerol, polyethylene glycol (PEG-400), methanol and phosphoric acid, were fabricated for CO2 stripping via membrane contactors. The membranes were characterized in terms of liquid entry pressure, contact angle, gas permeation and morphology analysis. CO2 stripping performance was investigated by using an in-house made stainless steel module with CO2-preloaded aqueous diethanolamine as the liquid absorbent. Hydrophobicity and gas permeability of the membranes reduced with the addition of a non-solvent additive in the polymer dope but increase in liquid entry pressure was observed as more sponge-like structures developed in the inner layer of the fibers. It was found that PVDF/PEG-400 membrane produced the highest stripping flux of 4.03×10-2 mol m-2 s-1 which can be correlated to its high gas permeation and high effective surface porosity. The result of long-term stripping operation indicated an approximatly 80% stripping flux reduction which can be related to the interaction of polymer membrane and amine solution at high temperature

This research has identified the sampling taken from ABC\u27s customers and have implemented the Important Performance Analysis Method. Several factors have been evaluated are as follows: Stable network (non intermitten); Network which has never had problems.; Network which has never had repeated problems;Speed of accessible network is in compliance with the contract.; Data application runs well; Sound/voice application is good;Internet application runs well; Service Level Ability is in compliance with the contract and Guarantee coverage is in compliance with the agreement. The Effect of Ecri, NPF and Bi Rate Upon Margin Revenue of Murabahah at Bmt Alghazaly Year 2012 - 2016

The main task of finance institutions is to collect and distribute the financing and Baitul Mal Tamwil or BMT is one of the financing institutions that is collecting the financing from the clients' capital and savings. Financing distribution is to give the debtors the loan. Most financing support given is Murabahah . Murabahah is a financial support given thru a trading principle where handing over the ownership has happened. The profit is calculated in advance and as a part of the price of the goods sold. Determining the profit rate of murabahah financing support has been influenced by many factors. But, the writer is going to pick three factors only, they are an Expected Competitive Return For Investor (ECRI), Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Bank of Indonesia (BI) rate. Logically, BMT board of directors should have to determine the amount of selling price of murabahah financing support which is based on ECRI and BMT should have given a certain amount which is the remaining of the business revenue to the investor. However, a risk cost has to be anticipated supposing the debtors cannot afford to pay their loans. And the third variable is BI rate as a considerate reference to evaluate whether the profit of murabahah financing support is competitive in the market or not. Ensuring whether ECRI, NPF and BI rate have been affecting murabahah revenue or not, the writer has applied quantitative method and primary data from the direct key persons. The result of the research has identified that simultaneously the Expected Competitive Customer Return for Investor (ECRI), Non Performing Financing (NPF)) and Bank Indonesia Rate (BI Rate) have not significantly affected the margin of murabahah revenue at BMT Al Ghazaly refers to its yearly financial report during the years of 2012 up to 2016. Partially ECRI has not significantly affected the margin of murabahah revenue. Nevertheless, at the same condition, partial NPF has not significantly affected the margin of murabahah revenue. As well as partial BI rate has not significantly affected the margin of murabahah revenue

Correlation Between the Student's Perception About Professional Public Accountant and the Intention to Pursue the Career in Auditing at the Students of Department of Accounting STIE Binaniaga

This research aims to figure out the students' perception about public accountant and their interest to be an auditor. Population of this research are the active students in the department of accounting at STIE Binaniaga year of 2016 (Semester 5) Sampling technique has applied Stratified Random Sampling and the quantity of the samples are 30 students after getting thru some sampling selection. Dependent variable is the students' intention to work in auditing. And independent variabe is the students' perception about professional accountant. The result of this research has indicated a significant correlation is occured between the students' perception about public accountant and the students' interest to pursue working in auditing

Pengaruh Indeks Good Corporate Governance terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan di Iicg dari Tahun 2007-2010

This study is aimed to determine the effect of the index of corporate governance on the companys financial services from IICG in 2007-2010.The indicator Of index of corporate governance was measured with CGPI (Corporate Governance Perception Index) based on the report that released by IICG (Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance) and the variable that used as indicators of financial services of the company were Return of Equity (ROE) and Return of Investment (ROI). The statistic method was used in hypothesis testing is simple regression with help of SPSS 20.00. Monetary Policy and Inflation in Indonesia: The Role of Dual Banking System

This study aims to examine the effect of monetary policy to the inflation rate in Indonesia from January 2011 to December 2015 via conventional and sharia systems. Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) is adopted for that purpose. The result shows that in the long run, conventional monetary policy transmission has an effect on inflation rate in Indonesia. Interbank money market variable has negative and significant influence on the inflation rate. While the loan to deposit ratio variable does not. On the Islamic side, the results show that in the long run, Islamic monetary policy transmission has a negative effect on inflation in Indonesia and Islamic money market has significant positive effect.     Keywords: Efficiency, Zakat Institution, Data Envelopment Analysis: Islamic economics, transmission of sharia and conventional monetary policy, inflation, VECM, vector error correction model

Adaptasi Umat Hindu di Kota Pekanbaru

This research was conducted in the Agung Jagatnatha Temple of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research was to analyze how the presence of Hindu's and lived in Pekanbaru with describe the social practices of the theory of habitus, capital, and arena based on Bourdieu's theory, as well as adaptation to the existence in developing religious social activities to live a life that is lived in urban areas such as in the city of Pekanbaru. The subject in this study consist of seven people. The subject of this research is where Hindu's who actively come and influential religious social activities in following in Agung Jagatnatha Temple with long settled in Pekanbaru. Sampling is done by accidental sampling techniques. Instrument data are observation, interview, and documentation. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods with data analysis refers to the concept of Milles & Huberman consists of data collection, data presentation, reduction of data and withdrawal of the conclusion. The results showed that capital used by Hindu's in Pekanbaru in the presence of social capital in the form of solidarity, confidence, attitude of tolerance, social interaction and network proximity between interesting people, as well as the forms of participation that done Hindu's, while more cultural capital to social religious activities, the implementation of religious ceremonies, the application of capital of culture on children and between Hindu's, as well as the expectations of Hindu's in developing implementation. Capital economics, the Dharma Karya cooperation, Suka Duke gathering, fundraising, as well as more symbolic capital to social roles owned by Hindu's against Temple surroundings. As for the strategy of Hindu's in developing social activities of religious existence in Pekanbaru shows that there is a biological strategy, investment strategy, successive strategy educational and economic strategy. Adaptation of Hindu's society in Pekanbaru was included in the minority with capital obtained comes from the Hindu community of its own, such as the PHDI (Parisadha Hindu Dharma Indonesia) as well as the WHDI (Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia) by having a religious ceremony hereditary that should be conserved

Analisis Bionomi Ikan Karang di Perairan Kabupaten Raja Ampat, Provinsi Papua Barat

The fishery resources of Raja Ampat Regency in West Papua Province have shown a declining trend in terms of total production. In order to sustainably manage the fishery for future utilization, a baseline analysis needs to be carried out as a tool for sustainable management. This paper attempts to indicate baseline performance of fisheries from bioeconomic perspectives. One of important results of bioeconomic analysis is that currently there is no indication of overfishingyet in Raja Ampat areas. Total production in open access level has showen 3.97ton per week. Effort in sole owner level (MEY) has showen 9,06 trip per week. Economic rent undersole owner regimeis around Rp.43.040.425,19 per week. This condition has shown that catch per unit effort has been efficient, so that fish harvest has been better and will be followed by maximum economic rent
