    Dynamic Hilbert clustering based on convex set for web services aggregation

    In recent years, web services run by big corporations and different application-specific data centers have all been embraced by several companies worldwide. Web services provide several benefits when compared to other communication technologies. However, it still suffers from congestion and bottlenecks as well as a significant delay due to the tremendous load caused by a large number of web service requests from end users. Clustering and then aggregating similar web services as one compressed message can potentially achieve network traffic reduction. This paper proposes a dynamic Hilbert clustering as a new model for clustering web services based on convex set similarity. Mathematically, the suggested models compute the degree of similarity between simple object access protocol (SOAP) messages and then cluster them into groups with high similarity. Next, each cluster is aggregated as a compact message that is finally encoded by fixed-length or Huffman. The experiment results have shown the suggested model performs better than the conventional clustering techniques in terms of compression ratio.     Selective Catalytic Oxidation of Organic Sulfides by Iron (III) Porphryin Catalysts and Generation of Iron (IV)-OXO Prophyrin Radical Cations

    Macrocyclic ligand-complexed transition metal-oxo intermediates are the active oxidizing species in a variety of important biological and catalytic oxidation reactions. Many transition metal catalysts have been designed to mimic the predominant oxidation catalysts in nature, namely the cytochrome P450 enzymes. Iron porphyrin complexes have been the center of research as catalysts. In this study 5,10,15,20- tetramesitylporphyrin (H2TMP) and its corresponding iron complexes FeIII(X)TMP (X= Cl, ClO4, ClO3, NO3, NO2, and BrO3) have been successfully synthesized and fully characterized by UV-vis and NMR spectroscopies. For the catalytic selective oxidation of organic sulfides, the potential of iron(III) porphyrin complexes with iodobenzene diacetate [PhI(OAc)2] have been investigated. Iodobenzene diacetate was found to be an efficient oxygen source in the iron(III) porphyrin-catalyzed oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides. Iron(III) porphyrin catalysts show an excellent conversion and selectivity for the sulfoxidation reactions. Reaction conditions and environments that effect the catalytic sulfoxidation including solvent, catalytic amount, axial ligand, water, and thioanisole substrates, have been investigated to identify the optimal conditions and the substrate scope. Under optimized conditions, excellent substrate conversions (up to 100%) as well as product selectivies (sulfoxide:sulfone \u3e 95:5) have been achieved. To probe the nature of the oxidizing species in above catalytic sulfoxidations, iron(IV)-oxo porphyrin radical cations model of Compound I were chemically produced from the corresponding iron(III) tetramesitylporphyrin precursors with excess amounts of PhI(OAc)2 (20-50 equivalents) in CH3CN solvent. All O=FeIV(X)TMP·+ (X= Cl, ClO4, ClO3, and NO3) show weaker Soret band and broader Q band that are characteristic of Compound I analogues. A new photochemical method that led to generation of the iron(IV)-oxo porphyrin radical cations was also successfully developed. Iron(IV)-oxo porphyrin radical cations were generated by irradiation of iron(III) porphyrin chlorate or bromate complexes that result in heterolytic cleavage of the O-X bond in the axial ligand

    EUS-FNA for the Diagnosis of Retroperitoneal Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumor

    Primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET) is a rare “small round blue cell tumor” that is diagnosed by open biopsy or percutaneous biopsy of the lesion under radiologic guidance. In this case report, we present a novel approach to the diagnosis of a retroperitoneal PNET by endoscopic ultrasound- (EUS-) guided fine needle aspiration (FNA). A 35-year-old man presented with the history of left-sided flank pain and swelling of 3-weeks duration. Computerized tomography (CT) scan of his abdomen revealed a 12.8 × 13 × 12.5 cm cystic and solid mass arising from the retroperitoneum and displacing the third and fourth portions of the duodenum. He underwent EUS which revealed a well-circumscribed heterogeneous mass abutting the inferior portion of the stomach. EUS-FNA of the mass revealed malignant cells consistent with primitive neuroectodermal tumor (PNET)/Ewing's sarcoma. EUS-guided FNA is an appropriate technique for diagnosing retroperitoneal PNET/Ewing's sarcoma

    TOTAL ANTIOXIDANT CAPACITY AND ANTIHYPERLIPIDEMIC ACTIVITY OF ALKALOID EXTRACT FROM AERIAL PART OF ANETHUM GRAVEOLENS L. PLANT

    Compounds of pharmacological interest (alkaloids) were extracted and the results revealed that the extract consist of three alkaloid compounds (A, B & C). Compound (A) has been isolated from Anethum graveolens L. aerial parts by column chromatography using C6H6 : Ethanol (9:1) solvent as eluent. It was found that simultaneous administration of alkaloid compound A (500 mg/kg/day) and cholesterol for 4 weeks, significantly (P<0.01) prevented the rise in serum TC, TG, LDL-cholesterol, VLDL-cholesterol, atherogenic index and significantly (P<0.01) increased TAC and HDL-cholesterol as compared to cholesterol fed control rabbits. Thus, the results indicate antioxidant and hypolipidemic effect of alkaloid compound A of Anethum graveolens L. aerial parts

                تم دراسة الاختلاف في الصفات المظهرية للأجنحة باستخدام تقنية المقياس الهندسي لمجاميع سكانية مختلفة من ذبابة الرمل من محافظتين مختلفتان هما بابل وديالى. حيث تم تحديد أحد عشر معلم موزعة على أجنحة هذه الأنواع. تم تمييز جميع الأنواع باستخدام حجم وشكل الجناح. هذه النتائج تسلط الضوء على تحليل الجناح كأداة فعالة لدراسات الاختلافات المورفولوجية لجناح ذبابة الرمزل.            The variation in wing morphological features was investigated using geometric morphometric technique of the Sand Fly from two Iraqi provinces Babylon and Diyala . We distributed eleven landmarks on the wings of Sand Fly species. By using the centroid size and shape together, all species were clearly distinguished.  It is clear from these results that the wing analysis is an essential method for future geometric morphometry studies to distinguish the species of Sand Flies in Iraq

    Comparison of the traditional outdoor and recirculation indoor rearing systems on survival rate and growth performance of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) larvae during early development

    The larvae of common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) were studied for 6 weeks in an indoor recirculatory system (RAS) and an outdoor earthen pond to compare their effects on growth performance and survival rate. Larvae reared in outdoor earthen ponds achieved significantly higher total length, weight, weight gain, and length increments than indoor groups (P?0.05). However, the indoor recirculatory system had the highest survival rate (83±1.9%) than outdoor earthen ponds (42±3.6%) (P?0.05). The results of the present study revealed that the raising system has a significant impact on the survival and growth performance of the larvae in common carp, and the best growth performance was in the outdoor earthen ponds, while the better survival rate was recorded in the indoor recirculatory system. Therefore, to minimize mortality and maximize survival rate, it is suggested that the larvae were released after hatching into closed and controlled rearing systems before being reared into earthen ponds after starting the exogenous feeding

    Aberrant Right Hepatic Duct Draining into the Cystic Duct: Clinical Outcomes and Management

    Background. Aberrant right hepatic duct (ARHD) draining into cystic duct (CD) is relatively rare but clinically important because of its susceptibility to injuries during cholecystectomy. These injuries are often-times missed or diagnosed late and as a result can develop serious complications. Methods. Four consecutive patients diagnosed with ARHD draining into CD were identified for inclusion. Results. The mean age of patients was 42.5 years. The diagnosis in one of the patient was incidental during a routine endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Other three patients were diagnosed post-cholecystectomy- one presented with suspected intra-operative biliary injury, one with persistent bile leak and another with recurrent cholangitis. Inadequate filling of the segment of liver on ERCP with dilation of intrahepatic ducts in the corresponding segment on imaging was present in two patients with complete obstruction of ARHD which was managed surgically. In another patient, the partially obstructed ARHD was managed by endoscopic therapy. Conclusion. ARHD draining into the CD can have varied clinical manifestations. In appropriate clinical settings, it should be suspected in patients with persistence of bile leak early after cholecystectomy, segmental dilation of intrahepatic-bile ducts on imaging and paucity of intrahepatic filling in a segment of liver on ERCP

They divided into two groups with dimensions (4*10mm)& (6*10mm) respectively.Eight of these specimens are irradiated by CO2 laser device at different laserpowers (2,3,4,& 5) Watt at a fixed time (20 sec). The mechanical properties whichwas tested, such as micro-hardness, diametrical strength, density, and porosity. Thevalue of micro-hardness, diametrical strength, density are increased at differentlaser power except (3W), because internal deformation occurred in this laser powerdensity up to (3W). Glazed layer may be occur because the effect of (4,5) Wattlaser, consequently the value of porosity decreased

    Metastatic renal cell carcinoma from a native kidney of a renal transplant patient diagnosed by endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) biopsy

    Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration (EUS-FNA) biopsy sampling of enlarged lymph nodes is increasingly used to diagnose metastatic tumors, especially of the gastrointestinal tract and the lungs. Herein, we describe the diagnosis of metastatic renal cell carcinoma from a native kidney of a 54 year-old male patient, who had a 5-years history of renal transplant, by EUS-FNA of mediastinal and celiac lymph nodes. Histological and immunohistochemical findings confirmed the origin of metastatic tumor. EUS-FNA with proper cytological evaluation can be useful in the diagnosis of metastatic renal cell carcinoma in renal transplant patients.

    Over-the-Scope Clip system, also called "Bear Claw, " is a novel endoscopic modality used for closure of gastrointestinal defect with high efficacy and safety. We present a patient with history of eosinophilic gastroenteritis and multiple abdominal surgeries including Billroth II gastrectomy complicated by a large chronic duodenocutaneous fistula from a Billroth II afferent limb to the abdominal wall. Bear Claw clip was used for closure of this fistula. The patient developed acute cholangitis one day after placement of the Bear Claw clip. Acute cholangitis due to papillary obstruction is a potential complication of Bear Claw placement at the dome of the duodenal stump (afferent limb) in patient with Billroth II surgery due to its close proximity to the major papilla
