Mesoscopic wave turbulence
We report results of sumulation of wave turbulence. Both inverse and direct
cascades are observed. The definition of "mesoscopic turbulence" is given. This
is a regime when the number of modes in a system involved in turbulence is high
enough to qualitatively simulate most of the processes but significantly
smaller then the threshold which gives us quantitative agreement with the
statistical description, such as kinetic equation. Such a regime takes place in
numerical simulation, in essentially finite systems, etc.Comment: 5 pages, 11 figure
Features of the pharmacological activity of polypeptide modulators on acid-sensitive ion channels in the experiment
TRPV1 receptors play a significant physiological role. To study pharmacological activity of new agonists and antagonists is important for the development of new drugs. This paper reports on the features of polypeptide antagonists of TRPV1 based on in vivo dat
Separation of rare earth elements by zone recrystallization
The separation of holmium and cerium by zone recrystallization using a mixture of HoCl[3]6H[2]O and CeCl[3]6H[2]O was investigated. It is shown that holmium is enriched at the end of the crystal that the recrystallization zone moves to, while cerium is concentrated in the primary solidification zone. The possible reasons for the experimentally observed distribution of hydrated ions of cerium and holmium along the length of the ingot are discussed. Also the coefficients of enrichment and separation are calculated
Methodological Aspects of Formation of Chart of Accounts
The study identified three types of charts of accounts: the chart of accounts oriented to financial accounting, which is based on the matrix method of building, classification of accounts is based on the principles of the balance sheet and the traditional definition of financial results; the chart of accounts, which assumes detailing the cost accounting and allocating additional classes of accounts to determine the financial results of the production; the chart of accounts of the integrated accounting, allowing the formation of multi-sector information and the data exchange between the accounted subsystemsyesBelgorod State Universit

On the modulation instability development in optical fiber systems
Extensive numerical simulations were performed to investigate all stages of
modulation instability development from the initial pulse of pico-second
duration in photonic crystal fiber: quasi-solitons and dispersive waves
formation, their interaction stage and the further propagation. Comparison
between 4 different NLS-like systems was made: the classical NLS equation, NLS
system plus higher dispersion terms, NLS plus higher dispersion and
self-steepening and also fully generalized NLS equation with Raman scattering
taken into account. For the latter case a mechanism of energy transfer from
smaller quasi-solitons to the bigger ones is proposed to explain the dramatical
increase of rogue waves appearance frequency in comparison to the systems when
the Raman scattering is not taken into account.Comment: 9 pages, 54 figure
Laser speckle contrast imaging for monitoring of acute pancreatitis at ischemia-reperfusion injury of the pancreas in rats
The in°uence of ischemia–reperfusion (I/R) action on pancreatic blood °ow (PBF) and the development of acute pancreatitis (AP) in laboratory rats is evaluated in vivo by using the laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI). Additionally, the optical properties in norm and under condition of AP in rats were assessed using a modi¯ed integrating sphere spectrometer and inverse Monte Carlo (IMC) software. The results of the experimental study of microcirculation of the pancreas in 82 rats in the ischemic model are presented. The data obtained con¯rm the fact that local ischemia and changes in the blood °ow velocity of the main vessels cause and provoke acute pancreatitis
Solitary wave interaction in a compact equation for deep-water gravity waves
In this study we compute numerical traveling wave solutions to a compact
version of the Zakharov equation for unidirectional deep-water waves recently
derived by Dyachenko & Zakharov (2011) Furthermore, by means of an accurate
Fourier-type spectral scheme we find that solitary waves appear to collide
elastically, suggesting the integrability of the Zakharov equation.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figures, 23 references. Other author's papers can be
