    Multi--hump soliton--like structures in interactions of lasers and Bose--Einstein condensates

    An investigation is made of multi-hump and periodic solutions of the semi-classical coupled equations describing laser radiation copropagating with a Bose-Einstein condensate. Solutions reminiscent of optical vector solitons have been found and have been used to gain understanding of the dynamics observed in the numerical simulations, in particular to shed light on the phenomenon of jet emission from a condensate interacting with a laser.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures; submitted to European Physics Letter

    A new regime of anomalous penetration of relativistically strong laser radiation into an overdense plasma

    It is shown that penetration of relativistically intense laser light into an overdense plasma, accessible by self-induced transparency, occurs over a finite length only. The penetration length depends crucially on the overdense plasma parameter and increases with increasing incident intensity after exceeding the threshold for self-induced transparency.     Nonlinear evolution of two fast-particle-driven modes near the linear stability threshold

    A system of two coupled integro-differential equations is derived and solved for the non-linear evolution of two waves excited by the resonant interaction with fast ions just above the linear instability threshold. The effects of a resonant particle source and classical relaxation processes represented by the Krook, diffusion, and dynamical friction collision operators are included in the model, which exhibits different nonlinear evolution regimes, mainly depending on the type of relaxation process that restores the unstable distribution function of fast ions. When the Krook collisions or diffusion dominate, the wave amplitude evolution is characterized by modulation and saturation. However, when the dynamical friction dominates, the wave amplitude is in the explosive regime. In addition, it is found that the finite separation in the phase velocities of the two modes weakens the interaction strength between the modes

    Проведені актуальні дослідження варіативних змін основних морфологічних і біологічних показників цьоголіток кольорових порід коропа коі (Cyprinus carpio koi) за умов однакового утримування і годівлі. Відповідно до встановлених основних критеріїв ознак коропа коі було досліджено різницю основних пластичних показників, об’єднаних у функціональні групи. Для досягнення завдання досліду використовували методи морфометричного аналізу ([1; 4]) і методи статистичної обробки даних за коефіцієнтом варіації показників. За результатами досліджень було встановлено значну різницю абсолютного лінійного приросту (показник зоологічної довжини (L)) який характеризує використання потенціалу росту риби. Past research relevant variable changes the basic morphological and biological indicators tsoholitok colored species of carp koi (Cyprinus carpio koi) under conditions identical handling and feeding. According to the criteria established by the main features of koi, the main difference was investigated plastic figures combined into functional groups. To achieve the objectives of the experiment were used morphometric methods of analysis (Pravdina IF and VP Mitrofanov) and methods of statistical data by the coefficient of variation of parameters.
