    N=2 gauge theories on unoriented/open four-manifolds and their AGT counterparts

    We compute the exact path integral of N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theories with general gauge group on RP4 and a Z(2)-quotient of the hemi-S-4. By specializing to SU(2) superconformal quivers, we show that these, together with hemi-S-4 partition functions, compute Liouville correlators on unoriented/open Riemann surfaces. We perform explicit checks for Riemann surfaces obtained as Z(2) quotients of the sphere and the torus. We also discuss the coupled 3d-4d systems associated to Liouville amplitudes with boundary punctures

This advancement in technology will not affect the quality of soil and increase the efficiency of getting crop. During the seed sowing process the feeding of seed as well as fertilizer is pour. Now a days the availability of labor is a major problem faced by farmer. We demonstrate that the easy method for seed sowing. In this work we replace complicated gear system by hall effect sensor for easier and costlier seed sowing and also reduce a need of labor. The Hall Effect sensor convert rotation into distance for which seed sowing at particular distance. Also there is adjustable system for sowing at different distance. By using this machine the sowing can be done row by row and distance will maintain. So this machine reduces their efforts and reduces the cost of seed sowing process with great efficiency and accuracy with reducement in labor requirement

    Exact results for N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theories on compact toric manifolds and equivariant Donaldson invariants

    We provide a contour integral formula for the exact partition function of N = 2 supersymmetric U(N) gauge theories on compact toric four-manifolds by means of supersymmetric localisation. We perform the explicit evaluation of the contour integral for U(2) N = 2 17 theory on CP2 for all instanton numbers. In the zero mass case, corresponding to the N = 4 supersymmetric gauge theory, we obtain the generating function of the Euler characteristics of instanton moduli spaces in terms of mock-modular forms. In the decoupling limit of infinite mass we find that the generating function of local and surface observables computes equivariant Donaldson invariants, thus proving in this case a longstanding conjecture by N. Nekrasov. In the case of vanishing first Chern class the resulting equivariant Donaldson polynomials are new. \ua9 2016, The Author(s)

    Supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory on conformal supergravity backgrounds in ten dimensions

    We consider bosonic supersymmetric backgrounds of ten-dimensional conformal supergravity. Up to local conformal isometry, we classify the maximally supersymmetric backgrounds, determine their conformal symmetry superalgebras and show how they arise as near-horizon geometries of certain half-BPS backgrounds or as a plane-wave limit thereof. We then show how to define Yang-Mills theory with rigid supersymmetry on any supersymmetric conformal supergravity background and, in particular, on the maximally supersymmetric backgrounds. We conclude by commenting on a striking resemblance between the supersymmetric backgrounds of ten-dimensional conformal supergravity and those of eleven-dimensional Poincar\'e supergravity.Comment: 30 page
