The Effectivity of Multi Source Feedback (MSF) to Assess Professional Behaviour (Pb) of Nursing Students: an Evaluation Study

Background: Nurses are requested to give an excellent services to patients not only excellent in skills but also excellent in behaviour which serve comfort to patients. The behaviour is called professional behaviour or soft skill. Purpose: The aim of this research is investigating the effectiveness of MSF in assessing nursing students\u27 professional behaviour (PB).Methods: The design of the research is an evaluation study which compares the result of PB between before and after joining practice in clinical setting. The participants were thirty three participants consisting of 33 nursing students and 3 mentors. Data were collected using a quantitative approach. The participants are requested to do self and peer assessment using SPRAT modification form while mentors are asked to assess nursing students using the same form. The assessment was conducted twice, before and after joining internship. The data were analysed to compare the score of PB before and after joining the internship among group of participant using Paired sample T-test or dependent sample T test. Result: The results showed that there were differences of score between before and after joining internship with α = 0.000; 0.001; and 0.000 for self, peer, and mentor assessment respectively. There was no difference of score before joining internship among assessors with α = 0.509, and there was a difference of score after joining internship among assessors with α = 0.005. It means that MSF is an effective method to assess PB of nursing students. Conclusion: Applying MSF method to assess PB of nursing student is suggested for better assessment

To Protect the Defenders: Doing the Most Possible, Continuing to Do What Has to Be Done

Allow me to start my lecture by highlighting several important issues from the visit of the UN Special Representative of the Secretary General on the Situation of Human Rights Defenders, Ms. Hina Jilani, during her visit to Indonesia on June 5-12, 2007. After her visit, in a press release, Ms. Hina Jilani stated that the situation in Indonesia has shown the prospect for the promotion of human rights, which in her opinion has vastly developed lately. Ms. Hina Jilani based her opinion on several positive steps taken to strengthen the legal and institutional framework for the promotion of human rights. In regards to the legal framework, Ms. Hina Jilani specifically mentioned the Constitutional amendments in 2000 which contain stipulations that guarantee the fulfillment of human rights and basic freedoms, the passing of Law No. 39, 1999 on Human Rights and the Law on Witness and Victim Protection namely Law No. 13, 2006. Here I would like to add the ratification of main international human rights instruments, namely the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Upon institutional development, Ms. Jilani put forth the establishment of The Commission of Human Rights with a stronger legal basis, namely the Law No. 39, 1999, the establishment of the Commission Anti Violence Against Women , as well as the establishment of Human Rights Court, which was established based on Law No. 26 year 2000 on Human Rights Court as well as the establishment of the Constitutional Court

Stimulus on export prices which applied in several industries will provide substantial incentives for the development of national industri. The extent of export price incentives to promote the industri became the main question of this study. In detail, the main objectives of this study include: analyzing industri export price volatility and its impact on the performance of the manufacturing sector. The analytical method used is ARCH-GARCH model and Recursive Dynamic CGE. The results confirm that the export price volatility of several industries tends to vary over time (time varying). The export price volatility of steel industri tends to be higher than other industries. Export price volatility generally provides positive impacts on industries that experienced increasing export prices, such as: animal vegetable oils, textile, and steel

This study aims to describe 1) the influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance, 2) the influence of work environment on employee performance, 3) the influence of interpersonal communication to the work environment, 4) The influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance with work environment as variable intervening on CV. Tugu Chocolate Yogyakarta. Variables in this research are interpersonal communication, work environment, and employee achievement. The population in this study is all employees in CV. Yogyakarta Chocolate Monument, amounting to 96 people and only 49 people who sampled the study. Data collection method used questionnaire method, while data analysis technique using simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis supported by T (T-Test) and F (F-Test) test and classical assumption test consisting of test normality, multicolinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance CV. Yogyakarta Chocolate Monument by 0.000 (p < 0.05). There is a positive and insignificant effect of work environment on employee performance CV. The Yogyakarta Chocolate Monument is 0.241 (p > 0.05). There is a positive and significant influence of interpersonal communication to the work environment of CV employees. Yogyakarta Chocolate Monument by 0,021 (p < 0,05). The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of heat treatment before and after tempering on hardness with temperature variation of HSS steel. Heat treatment with temperature 500- 850 oC on specimens were tested and quenched on the water. Another specimen was tempered with 100, 250, 400, 500, 600 and 700 oC temperatures with air quenching. Hardness testing of these specimens has been done with Vickers and Rockwell method. Public Satisfaction and Quality of Service Corner Driving License Forming Image Police

146 sampling research taking care of people who are driving license (SIM) in the police force aims to examine the relationship between service quality and satisfaction with the public image of the police institution. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Likert model of multiple regression techniques. Results of hypothesis testing showed R = 0.619; F = 44.422; and p = 0.000 (p <0.05) showed that the quality of services and satisfaction of the people together influenced the image of the police. The coefficient of determination explains that the simultaneous quality of services and satisfaction of the people were able to contribute effectively to the image of the police amounted to 38.3%. The results of partial analysis shows that the relationship between service quality and image of the police has a value of p = 0.000 (p <5%), and r = 0.361, which means the quality of service to the image of the police institution is low. Partial assay analysis results between people\u27s satisfaction with the image of the police obtained value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05); r = 0.322, which means people\u27s satisfaction with the image of the police institutions have a significant positive correlation with the level of relationships is low

Kenyataannya kita berupaya untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan tersebut dengan cara demokratis, dan tidak bertumpu pada solusi otoritarian, dan yang terpenting adalah memperbaiki representasi isu-isu yang mendasar dan konflik dalam masyarakat.
