    Job satisfaction and OCB will reflect the positive attitude of each individual in completing tasks and loyalty to the company. This study focused on Alit's Beach Hotel Bali, Sanur. Total samples are 70 employees without leaders, using probability sampling methods. The study used path analysis model. The test results showed thatthe financial compensation affect significantlyon employee job satisfaction, significant effect of leadership style on employee job satisfaction, financial compensation significant effect on OCB, and leadership style significantly influence OCB and job satisfaction have a significant effect on OCB

    Do Health Workers' Preferences Influence their Practices? Assessment of Providers' Attitude and Personal use of new Treatment Recommendations for Management of Uncomplicated Malaria, Tanzania.

    \ud \ud Due to growing antimalarial drug resistance, Tanzania changed malaria treatment policies twice within a decade. First in 2001 chloroquine (CQ) was replaced by sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (SP) for management of uncomplicated malaria and by late 2006, SP was replaced by artemether-lumefantrine (AL). We assessed health workers' attitudes and personal practices following the first treatment policy change, at six months post-change and two years later. Two cross-sectional surveys were conducted in 2002 and 2004 among healthcare workers in three districts in South-East Tanzania using semi-structured questionnaires. Attitudes were assessed by enquiring which antimalarial was considered most suitable for the management of uncomplicated malaria for the three patient categories: i) children below 5; ii) older children and adults; and iii) pregnant women. Practice was ascertained by asking which antimalarial was used in the last malaria episode by the health worker him/herself and/or dependants. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression was used to identify factors associated with reported attitudes and practices towards the new treatment recommendations. A total of 400 health workers were interviewed; 254 and 146 in the first and second surveys, respectively. SP was less preferred antimalarial in hospitals and private health facilities (p<0.01) in the first round, and the preference worsened in the second round. In the first round, clinicians did not prefer SP for children below age of 5 and pregnant women (p<0.01), but two years later, they did not prefer it for all patient scenarios. SP was the most commonly used antimalarial for management of the last malaria episode for health workers and their dependants in both rounds, in the public sector (p<0.01). Health workers in the dispensaries had the highest odds of using SP for their own treatment [adjusted OR- first round: 6.7 (95%CI: 1.9-23.4); crude OR- second round: 4.5 (1.5-13.3)]. Following changes in malaria treatment recommendations, most health workers did not prefer the new antimalarial drug, and their preferences worsened over time. However, many of them still used the newly recommended drug for management of their own or family members' malaria episode. This indicates that, other factors than providers' attitude may have more influence in their personal treatment practices

    Pembangunan konstruksi di atas tanah gambut semakin sering dilakukan karena kebutuhan lahan untuk pembangunan yang semakin lama semakin sempit. Kendala yang dihadapi pada pembangunan di tanah gambut diantaranya adalah daya dukung tanah yang rendah. Dalam penelitian ini, anyaman bambu dan grid bambu digunakan sebagai material perkuatan yang diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif material perkuatan untuk meningkatkan daya dukung tanah gambut yang digunakan sebagai tanah dasar dari pondasi dangkal dengan variasi lebar perkuatan dan jumlah lapis perkuatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan daya dukung dari setiapvariasi dengan nilai daya dukung tanpa perkuatan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengujian dengan skala laboratorium. Data yang didapatkan dari pengujian tersebut kemudian dianalisa dengan membandingkan nilai daya dukung antara tanah tanpa perkuatan dengan menggunakan perkuatan yang dinyatakan dalam Bearing Capacity Ratio (BCR). Dari studi model di laboratorium diperoleh hasil bahwa dengan adanya penambahan dimensi perkuatan dan penambahan jumlah lapis perkuatan akan memberikan angka rasio daya dukung (BCR) yang semakin besar. Setelah diuji variasi lebar perkuatan 2B, 3B, dan 4B dengan jumlah lapisan 1 lapis, 2 lapis dan 3 lapis diperoleh kombinasi yang memberikan nilai daya dukung tertinggi adalah penggunaan 3 lapis perkuatan dengan lebar 4B (B adalah lebar pondasi). Nilai daya dukung tersebut sebesar 23,11 kPa dengan rasio daya dukung (BCR) sebesar 4,272 atau persen peningkatannya sebesar 327,2%

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dari organizational culture terhadap competitive advantage pada Perusahaan manufaktur di Jawa Timur. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh organizational culture terhadap competitive advantage melalui entrepreneurship dan supply chain integration yang merupakan variabel intervening dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif, dimana data diperoleh merupakan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuisioner kepada 30 Perusahaan manufaktur baik terbuka maupun tertutup di Jawa Timur. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan software Smart PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan dari organizational culture terhadap competitive advantage, organizational culture terhadap entrepreneurship , entrepreneurship terhadap competitive advantage dan organizational culture terhadap supply chain integration pada Perusahaan manufaktur di Jawa Timur. Namun, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara supply chain integration terhadap competitive advantage

Introduction: The Openness of public information is a means to optimize public oversight of the implementation of state and other public bodies and everything that resulted in the public interest. The Openness of public information is required in every aspects of life especially for education through government programs in this case is the Cita Emaan Pande scholarship program who help students by providing their educational funds. Oftenly the information about this scholarship is not accepted by the society as a form of communication that is used is not effective, so that many people do not know about the scholarship program. Theory and Methode: This study use qualitative research method and also the message preparation and planning theory. Result: information that is disseminated is less clear, and a form of communication used less effective. Advice: choose the effective form of communication so that people can get whole the message well
