Penelitian ini merupakan kajian yang dilakukan pada buku teks populer jenis self – help karya Steve Harvey berjudul Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man. Buku tersebut memperoleh predikat sebagai best seller dan diadaptasi menjadi sebuah film layar lebar berjudul Think Like a Man. Muted Group Theory digunakan sebagai teori yang menjelaskan fenomena pengaruh ideologi patriarki dan buku Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man dalam romantic relationship. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan pengaruh ideologi patriarki dan adanya dominasi cara berpikir dan bertindak secara maskulin dalam paparan setiab bab buku Act Like a Lady Think Like a Man, meskipun muncul juga paparan feminin – feminin namun ternyata masih terpoles dalam konsep patriarki. Kata Kunci: Dominasi, Maskulin, Patriarki, Gender, Self-Hel

Objective: The purpose of this work was to develop an electronically tunable resonator operating at 750 MHz for continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance (CW-EPR) imaging of a mouse tumor-bearing leg. Methods: The resonator had a multi-coil parallel-gap structure with a sample space of 16 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length. Microstrip line couplers were used in conjunction with varactor diodes to enable resonance frequency adjustment and to reduce the nonlinear effects of the varactor diodes. The resonator was modeled by the finite-element method and a microwave circuit simulation was performed to clarify its radiofrequency characteristics. Results: A tunable resonator was evaluated in terms of its resonance frequency, tunable frequency band, and conversion efficiency of the RF magnetic field. The developed resonator provided a tunable frequency band of 4 MHz at a central frequency of 747 MHz and a conversion efficiency of 34 mu T/W-1/2. To demonstrate the application of this tunable resonator to EPR imaging, three-dimensional EPR images of a sample solution and a mouse tumor-bearing leg were obtained. Conclusion: The developed tunable resonator satisfied our initial requirements for in vivo EPR imaging and may be able to be further improved using the present finite-element and circuit models if any problems arise during future practical applications. Significance: This work may help to promote EPR imaging of tumor-bearing mice in cancer-related studies

CHOReOS Dynamic Development Model Definition (D2.1)

The Future Internet envisions a ubiquitous world where available services can be easily discovered and coordinated so as to fit users needs. Service choreographies will play a central role in this vision as an effective means to allow heterogeneous services to suitably collaborate. This deliverable defines the CHOReOS Dynamic Development Process Model by refining and completing the artefacts/ activities and the relationships among them already sketched into the DoW (under the WP2 description), and conceptualized by the the CHOReOS conceptual model [CHO11b]. The process model is an abstract and simplified description of what will be the actual CHOReOS software development process to be defined at M24. The process model describes the "strategy" to be used during the choreography life cycle from design, to development, to maintenance (and hence from static, to runtime, to evolution). The model is made up of activities, common to (almost) every process, but structured in a particular way (i.e., the "CHOReOS way"), hence distinguishing the CHOReOS development process from others
