A Green's Function Treatment of XY-like Antiferromagnets

publisherMagnetic properties of spin S=1/2 anisotropic antiferrmagnets with the intermediate exchange interaction between the XY model and the Heisenberg model are investigated by the RPA Green’s function theory. Zeropoint spin contraction shows the maximum relative value 13.5% in the isotropic limit (Heisenberg model) and it decreases continuously to the minimum one 4.3% at the XY model. Neel temperature TN is given by the same one as the ferromagnetic phase transition temperature (Curie temperature) for an arbitrary anisotropy parameter. Parallel susceptibility above T(N) is also obtained as a function of temperature.departmental bulletin pape

Global Competition of Companies in Artificial Intelligence Semiconductors

本稿は，AI（人工知能）半導体をめぐる企業間のグローバル競争がどのように展開されているのかを課題とし，現在，AI半導体市場で熾烈に競争しているエヌビディアとインテルに焦点を当て，AI半導体戦略の技術的特性と自動車産業の自動運転における相違を明らかにした。エヌビディアの場合，画像処理半導体のGPUで半導体市場を先導し，自動運転では自動車メーカーとの緊密な提携や協力関係を結び，自社の半導体，ソフトウェアをオープンソースで提供し，今日に至っている。他方，半導体産業の王者であるインテルはエヌビディアより遅れてAI半導体市場に参入している。インテルの自動運転における戦略は，AI半導体分野の企業4社を次々と攻撃的に買収したことである。買収された企業は，FPGA，深層学習，画像認識技術に強みを持っている。さらにインテルは自動車メーカーとも提携を結びつつ，買収したモビールアイ社の自動車の取引相手を傘下に吸収しながら，AI半導体で世界首位を狙う戦略を構築している。departmental bulletin pape
