Job Stress Factors among Firefighters and Their Priority: The Case of Incheon Metropolitan Fire Station

이 논문은 화재진압과 구조 구급, 그리고 재난 분야에서 활동하는 소방공무원의 직무 스트레스 유발요인을 문헌연구를 통하여 정리하고 이들 요인들의 중요도와 우선순위를 현 소방공무원 중 전문가들을 대상으로 AHP기법을 사용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 실증분석결과 동일한 소방공무원이라도 직종에 따라 우선순위가 다소 차이가 있지만 종합적으로 살펴 볼 때 직무의 위험성, 2교대근무제가 가장 중요한 유발요인으로 나타났다. 이하 순위를 보면 불편한 인간관계와 대기태세의 긴장, 직무지식 및 기술의 부족, 사회생활애로, 역할 어려움, 개인 성격, 인사 공정성 부족, 교육 및 훈련 부족의 순으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 스트레스 해소대안으로서는 최신 안전장비의 구비와 개인지급, 전국적인 규모의 화상전문의를 보유한 차별성을 가진 국립소방병원의 건립, 그리고 3교대 근무제의 시행 등이 가장 중요한 것으로 제시되었다. All kinds of jobs have peculiar stresses. Different kinds of jobs have different types and weight of stress. This study debates the job stress priority of firefighters who work in firefighting, emergency rescue, and disaster response empirically using the AHP method. The results indicate two important stressors, that is, job danger and a shift system of working 24 hours and then being off 24 hours. Others include uncomfortable human relations, tension preparing, insufficient job and technology knowledge, social relations problems, role difficulty, personality hardships, unfairness of promotion, and insufficient learning and training. These results suggest providing up-to-date equipment to organizations and individuals, building special national hospitals for burns, and implementing a three-shift system as urgent desirable alternatives for reducing or relieving these stressors.이 논문은 인천대학교 2011년도 자체연구비 지원에 의하여 연구되었음
