ผ์ํ์๋ค.The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of socially prescribed perfectionism(SPP) and the moderating effect of extrinsic work value in the relationship between attachment and career indecision. Data from 160 undergraduate students were analyzed through multiple regression analyses. The study revealed that conditional acceptance, one of the SPPโs sub-dimension, fully mediated the relationship between attachment and career indecision and the extrinsic work value functioned as significant moderator that accounts for the relationship between SPP and career indecision. The results suggest that interaction of personal trait and preferred work values should be considered to better understand relationship between attachment and the level of career decision of undergraduate students. Based on these, implications and limitations were discussed

The purpose of the present study was to examine the effectiveness of the mentoring program, co-operated by a university and local government. The distinct characteristic of this mentoring program is that education, training, and monitoring are provided for the mentors. The research design is pretest-posttest with a control group to compare career adaptability change of each group. ANCOVA was conducted to analyze the data. The results showed that all of 8 factors (goal setting, creativity, interpersonal relationship, openness, proactivity, job competence, positive attitude, responsibility) of career adaptability were significantly improved in the experimental group. The current study examined the mediation effect of career decision making self-efficacy(CDMSE) in the relation between a persons overt/covert narcissism tendency and career decision level. 188 college students (73 males, 115 females) participated in the study. Using multiple regression analysis, the current study found that CDMSE fully mediated between overt narcissism and career decision level. Additional analysis were performed dividing the overt narcissism tendency into sub-categories. The results showed that CDMSE fully mediated between leadership/confidence and career decision level. On the other hand, covert narcissism partially mediated CDMSE, affecting the career decision level. In the additional analysis dividing covert narcissism into sub-categories, there was a partial mediation effect of CDMSE in the relationship between goal instability and career decision level. Based on the results, the current study further discussed the appropriate intervention methods and the importance of discriminative treatment

This study examined the difference in school adaptation by the perceived parenting style and psychological separation. 458 male and 532 female middle school students in Seoul participated in this study. The results showed that there was a main effect in school adaptation level by perceived parenting style. The school adaptation level was higher with students perceiving the parenting style as authoritative than authoritarian. Furthermore, there was a interaction effect in school adaptation level by parenting style and psychological separation: โauthoritative-low psychological separationโ group showed higher level than โauthoritarian-high separationโ group. With the psychological separation from father especially, โauthoritarian-low psychological separationโ group had higher teacher adaptation than the โauthoritarian-low psychological separationโ group. The current study also discussed the suggestions for future studies and implications

This study gathered research from 297 college students on how their expectations of college life compared to their satisfaction with college life. It studied how this related to personality traits and psychological well-being. This study considers the gap between college life expectations and satisfaction with college life as variables for predicting the effect on the psychological well-being of students. The multiple regression analysis results found that individual personality traits mediated the relationship between the difference between college life expectations and satisfaction with college life and psychological well-being. The results provide an understanding of how psychological well-being is influenced by the gap between expectations of college life and satisfaction with college life and personality traits
