    Evaluation on difference of therapeutic efficacy of Jiawei Xiaoyao Granules and Pills in treatment of emotional disorder during perimenopause based on Greene Climacteric Scale

    目的:在前期加味逍遥丸治疗围绝经期情绪障碍具有比较优势的基础上,基于grEEnE量表探讨其颗粒剂和丸剂不同剂型间疗效差异。方法:经筛选后患有情绪障碍的围绝经期女性75例随机等分为A、b、C3组,分别对应采用帕罗西汀、加味逍遥丸和加味逍遥颗粒剂治疗8周。所有患者在治疗前后各进行1次grEEnE及其子因子评定,并在观察期结束时进行TESS评定。结果:grEEnE总分差及其焦虑、抑郁因子分差:3种治疗方法均能改善,且相互间无显著差异;grEEnE性因子和血管因子分差:后二组均优于A组(P<0.01);TESS评分:与A组比较,b、C组均有统计学意义(P<0.01),评分均小于A组,且后二组间无显著差异。结论:加味逍遥的2种剂型间疗效无显著差异,考虑到帕罗西汀的不良反应,治疗该病加味逍遥的2种剂型都值得推荐。Objective: To investigate the difference in therapeutic efficacy between Jiawei Xiaoyao Granules and pills based on the preliminary research of treating emotional disorder during perimenopause with Jiawei Xiaoyao Pills and Greene Climacteric Scale.Methods: 75 female patients with emotional disorder during perimenopause were slected and randomly divided into 3 groups as group A, B and C.Patients in the 3 groups were treated with paroxetine, Jiawei Xiaoyao Pills and Jiawei Xiaoyao Granules respectively for 8 weeks.Greene and Greene factors assessment were carried out in all the patients before and after treatment, and the TESS assessment was carried out at the end of the observation period.Results: The three therapies all could improve the gap in total score of Greene and its factors as anxiety and depressed, and the difference among these three groups was no significant.The factors of Greene and gap in score of vascular factors of group B and C was better than that of group A(P<0.01).The difference in TESS score between group A and group B and C was significant(P<0.01), while the difference between group B and group C was not significant.Conclusion: The difference in curative effect between the two formulations was not significant.Because of the adverse reactions of paroxetine, in the treatment of emotional disorder during perimenopause, the two formulations of Jiawei Xiaoyao Powder were worth to be recommended.国家自然科学青年基金项目(No.81302960)~

    The Neural Mechanisms for Regulating Ocular Dominance through Long-term Adaptation to Altered-reality

    眼优势(ocular dominance)是动态变化的,随着视觉系统的发育和成熟表现出不同程度的可塑性水平。最近十多年的研究表明,一些视觉训练范式是能够调节成年人的眼优势的,但是成年期眼优势重塑的脑机制和行为训练之间的联系还处于初步探索阶段,暂未达成一致共识。本论文通过两项研究初步探讨了基于长时程适应更改现实训练调节成年人眼优势的神经机制。 在研究一中,我们使用更改现实适应范式对两眼极端不平衡的成年弱视病人进行了连续6天、每天3小时的长时程行为训练。在训练开始前、训练结束后24小时、训练结束后1个月这三个时间点对被试进行了视力测量和脑电测试。在脑电实验中,我们使用了频率标记技术和稳态视觉诱发电位来测量被试每只眼睛的脑电信号以及反映眼间交互作用的交互调制频率(intermodulation frequency, IM)神经信号。通过计算被试在训练前后对双眼互补的视频刺激(也就是训练阶段的适应刺激)响应幅度的变化,来检验长时程适应更改现实调节眼优势的神经活动。结果发现在训练结束1个月后,交互调制频率成分的信号幅度显著下降,这种训练效应仅在实验1的弱视组中发现,在实验2的两眼平衡健康组中没有发现。根据本研究中的刺激类型是双眼互补的自然图像,我们倾向于认为所测量到的交互调制频率成分反映的是双眼交互作用中的眼间抑制程度,交互调制频率成分幅度下降代表抑制程度的减弱。我们通过眼拮抗模型(ocular opponency model)对这种去抑制的作用机制进行了解释,为成年人眼优势可塑性的眼间去抑制机制提供了初步的直接神经证据。 在研究二中,我们使用更改现实适应范式对两眼相对不平衡但视力正常的成年人开展了研究,初步探索更改现实适应范式调节眼优势对于视觉加工通路的神经信号的影响。我们首先在更改现实设备上进行了双眼竞争行为实验用来筛选两眼相对不平衡的被试。通过事件相关电位脑电实验和运动一致性探测范式,探测视觉背侧通路运动加工脑区的神经响应在训练前后的变化,结果发现N1成分的变化具有眼特异性,只有相对强眼((stronger eye)的N1成分在训练后显著下降了。通过稳态视觉诱发电位脑电实验和红绿光栅双眼竞争范式,探测视觉腹侧通路初级区域的神经信号在训练前后如何变化,结果显示两眼的标记频率信号强度没有明显变化。这些初步探索的结果提示,基于长时程适应更改现实的方法对眼优势的调节会影响视觉背侧通路运动加工区域的神经活动。 综上,研究一提示对于两眼极端不平衡人群,长时程适应更改现实能够降低反映眼间抑制作用的交互调制频率成分的信号幅度。研究二发现,对于两眼相对不平衡人群,视觉背侧通路中对运动刺激敏感的神经信号,在经过训练后相对强眼的响应幅度减弱。这些发现从视觉系统早期视觉皮层的眼间去抑制机制和高级层级背侧通路的运动加工神经响应这两个方面提供了调节成年人眼优势的实验证据,补充了对长时程适应更改现实神经机制的理解

    [[abstract]]The thesis examines, through a cultural translation studies approach, five Chinese translations and a Chinese adapted translation of Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray published in Taiwan. Through a discussion of these translated versions I hope to come up with a diachronic and synchronic description of the translation norm from the early seventies to the present as well an understanding of the cultural negotiation mechanisms in operation in the translating process. In Chapter One, I will provide an overview of the original work and analyze some difficult points in translation. Then Chapter Two will cover all six translations and the kinds of images they create in the acceptant culture. Starting from Chapter Three the focus of discussion will shift to the adapted version Du Lian-Kuei. In analyzing Wang Da-Hong’s experimental work Du Lian-Kuei, I propose an interdisciplinary approach. First, I will use Ji?i Lev?’s linguistic model to determine whether the deviations from the plot in Du Lian-Kuei were necessary due to the social-cultural differences between the target text and source text. Later, in Chapter Four I will apply Andr? Lefevere’s concept of the manipulation of translated texts in the four categories of power, patronage, ideology, and poetics. Chapter Five will be the conclusion. In a close comparison of the original text and the adapted translation, this thesis will explain how the recontextualized Du Lian-Kuei reflects certain singularities that only appear at the historical point of the production of the translation.

    碩士教育研究所[[abstract]]  本研究的目的係探討國民中學教師教學效能與教育專業發展之現況與關係,並據以提出結論與建議,以作為師資培育機構、國民中學教師與將來研究之參考。本研究採問卷調查法,研究對象為台灣中部地區國民中學教師,共486人。所得資料以平均數、標準差、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法進行分析。本研究結果發現:國中教師具有高教學效能、高專業發展、不同性別與不同教程修習學校類型的教師在教師教學效能上有差異、不同教程修習學校類型的教師在教師專業發展上有差異、國民中學校師教學效能與教師專業發展成正相關。 關鍵字:教師教學效能、教師專業發展[[abstract]]  The purpose of this study was to explore the current situation of teacher’s teaching effectiveness and teacher’s professional development and the relationships between the two factors. The survey questionnaire was adopted for this study and the subjects were 486 junior high school teachers. The data were analyzed by the following statistical methods: mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Parson product-moment correlation. The conclusions indicated that the junior high school teachers’ teaching effectiveness were in high level; the junior high school teachers’ professional development were in high level. There were significantly differences in genders and educational background on teachers’ teaching effectiveness. There were significantly differences in educational background on teachers’ professional development. There were positive relationships between junior high school teacher’s teaching effectiveness and teacher’s professional development.     Exploring feedback processes in post-secondary classrooms in Hong Kong : challenges and opportunities

    Feedback is a catalyst for effective learning, but the Student Feedback Questionnaire in my post-secondary institution and the National Student Survey in the UK have revealed students’ lack of satisfaction with this aspect. This study has a dual purpose: exploring the feedback practice of two English teachers in a post-secondary institution in Hong Kong and improving feedback communication in my classrooms. A combined approach of case study and action research was adopted to first identify the challenges in feedback processes and then devise an improvement plan based on empirical data. For the case study, data collection methods encompassed analysis of marked assignments, audio-recordings of verbal feedback sessions, stimulated-recall interviews with teachers and focus group interviews with students. Two major challenges were evident in the feedback processes. First, students found formative feedback not clear enough to improve their subsequent writing because they lacked a clear understanding of task requirements and assessment criteria for feedback interpretation. Second, the use of feedback sandwich gave them a ‘false hope’ of assessment results and undermined their communication trust, despite teachers’ intention of using praise to cushion the impact of negative comments. The findings implied that a trusting relationship was essential for effective feedback communication, and one way of building such relationship involved explaining assessment standards to students and providing guidance to help them achieve required standards. Based on the insights emerging, the action research involved dialogues about exemplars of student work (peer, teacher-led and students’ mini-presentations) to enhance students’ understanding of task requirements and standards in the pre-assessment stage. Open-ended surveys, focus group interviews with students, semi-structured interviews with a critical friend and a self-reflective journal were employed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The findings indicated that exemplar dialogues supported feedback processes by establishing a common ground for communication, reducing students’ cognitive load in decoding feedback and developing their self-evaluative capabilities. The theoretical significance of this study is three-fold. First, an explanatory model is constructed to illustrate how institutional, teacher-related and student-related factors interact in influencing feedback processes in the post-secondary institution. Second, the study presents a critique of the feedback sandwich. Instead of using it as a panacea for emotional conflicts, an alternative is to increase students’ immunity to negative feedback through developing their understanding of quality and performing self-assessment. Third, the data show the supporting role of exemplars in feedback processes. Exemplar analysis and production of insights facilitate students’ interpretation of external feedback from teacher and generation of internal feedback for self-regulation. Regarding practical significance, improving feedback communication in the post-secondary context requires appropriate assessment task design and a balance between pre-assessment guidance and post-assessment feedback. Two-stage assignments encourage students to act on formative feedback for reflexive knowledge building. Rather than expending too much effort to sugar-coat negative feedback, an effective strategy involves equipping students with pre-assessment guidance so that they are clear about task goals and required standards.
