A study on the lives of residents from the perspective of community development and changes in facilities in Okuura area of Goto City.

Goto City has a declining population and an aging. Therefore, it has an established community development council in 13 districts, including the Okuura district. Through these councils, residents and the city hall are working together on area management in various areas. This has enabled them to take detailed initiatives that the government alone could not manage. As a result, the sustainability of the area is improved. On the other hand, in Goto City, some churches registered as World Heritage sites are attracting attention. In addition to supporting the lives of the elderly, the Okuura district, with its famous Dozaki church, has been conducting activities targeting tourists. As a result, cafes and guesthouses for tourists are increasing in the area and as the number of tourists puts on, the employment and transferees are increasing.In this way, the Okuura district is engaged in a variety of projects, and is considered to be one of the most advanced areas in Goto City

A study on the role of high school students in area management on remote islands targeting high schools with study abroad system on remote islands

Many schools on remote islands are closed due to the declining birthrate and aging population. However, the continuation of the school is necessary for regional revitalization. Therefore, a remote island study abroad system was established. Since Nagasaki Prefecture is an advanced region in the remote island study abroad system for high school students, the value of high school students in remote island areas was examined for high schools in Nagasaki Prefecture. As a result, it was found that high school students can contribute to the local community by providing opportunities to think about local issues in club activities and classes. On the other hand, in order to promote study abroad on remote islands, it was found that high school values and mental support for international students are also necessary

腹腔鏡下子宮全摘術は通常、砕石位で行われる。また、深部静脈血栓症予防として弾性ストッキングあるいは間欠的空気圧迫装置が用いられる(図1) 。しかし、この体位と予防法は下腿の圧迫により稀ではあるが、下肢コンパートメント症候群を発症するリスク要因となる。今回我々は、腹腔鏡下子宮全摘術後に下肢コンパートメント症候群を発症した1 例を経験したので報告する
