    Nucleate pool boiling heat transfer coefficients have been measured when a surface - active agent was added into water. Those have been measured on a heated wire that PEEK (Poly Ether ·Ether ·Keton) resin was coated in ammonia. The experiment has been carried out using a thermosyphon with a plain heated surface and a pool boiling vessel with a heated fine wire. The effect of the surface - active agent and PEEK resin coating on the nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficient and time variation of the nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficient were investigated experimentally for the surfactant concentration, CS=0 and 1000 ppm. The result shows that the nucleate boiling heat transfer coefficient never changes for more than a month in pure water and in ammonia with the heated wire coated by PEEK resin. On the otherhand, the boiling heat transfer coefficient decreases gradually till the end of operation in water with the surfactant

    Bachmann束は冠静脈洞とともに洞調律時の心房間興奮伝搬に関わる主要な筋束であるが、肉眼的な定義・分布は必ずしも明確でない。ヒト剖検心において左房天蓋部におけるBachmann束の分布を検討した。頻脈性不整脈を認めない非循環器疾患の剖検心15例、平均年齢61.4歳(51~79歳、女性6例)について左房側の付着部位である天蓋部中央におけるBachmann束の筋束厚、幅を計測し周辺の組織性状を観察した。Bachmann束の平均厚は3.67mm、平均幅21.4mmで、心重量と筋束の厚みは相関係数-0.56で逆相関した。Bachmann束は左右心耳を結ぶ主幹部と、左右心耳の静脈側および房室弁輪側に伸展する周辺部に分けられた。主幹部は房室弁輪に平行に走行する筋束であるが、4例が上下に二分していた。また、上大静脈筋袖がBachmann束表層に伸展している例もみられた。Bachmann束は心重量と相関して菲薄化するが、各種不整脈との関連ではより詳細な検討が必要であると考えられた。(著者抄録

    Naturally shrunk visceral artery aneurysms by stenting for the superior mesenteric artery occlusion.

    A 77-year-old woman who had experienced postprandial abdominal pain for four years was admitted to our institution presenting sudden and severe abdominal pain. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) demonstrated complete short-segmented occlusion in the orifice of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA), and saccular aneurysms in the right hepatic artery and the anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery. She was diagnosed with abdominal angina due to occlusion of the SMA. The SMA was recanalized by stenting, and a CECT scan confirmed naturally shrunk aneurysms after eight months. The patency of the SMA was maintained at five years after endovascular treatment

    MRI findings of intra-ocular lesion were Studied on Seven cases: two cases of choroidal malignant melanoma, one case of choroidal tumor, two cases of retinal detachment with vitreous hemorrhage, and two cases of choroidal detachment. Intraocular lesions were clearly visualized by T1 weighted MRI which was of great benefit in visualizing morphological changes. T2 weighted images could not visualize morphological changes very well, but had some merits in differentiating the ocular pathology. MRI was a very useful examination for intra-ocular lesions

    The Ability of a Double-Sensored NIR Device to Detect Apples (\u27Fuji\u27 Cultivar) Injured by the Peach Fruit Moth, Carposina sasakii Matsumura (Lepidoptera: Carposinidae)

    We evaluated the ability of a near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy device to detect apples ("Fuji" cultivar) injured by the peach fruit moth, Carposina sasakii . The scanned NIR spectra of whole fruit were collected using two detectors located at the top and base of the inspection box in this device. Further, several calibration equations were developed using injured apples harvested in 2004 and 2005. The calibration developed with the apples harvested in 2004 predicted injured apples at 0.87±1.95 (r ±SEP). When validated, an accuracy of this calibration was calculated at 92.4%. The calibration developed with the apples harvested in 2005 predicted injured apples at 0.85±2.79. When validated, the accuracy of this calibration was calculated at 94.5% for the apples harvested in 2004 and 93.7% for apples in 2005, respectively.モモシンクイガに加害されたリンゴ(\u27ふじ\u27)を近赤外線分光法で識別できるか,上下で透過スペクトルを検出する近赤外線非破壊選果機を使って評価した.2004年および2005年に収穫した被害果の近赤外スペクトルデータと被害度を分析して検量線を作成したところ, 2004年のサンプルで作成したCalibration 2による予測値と実測の被害度との間に0.87 ± 1.95(相関係数±予測誤差)の相関関係があり,判別精度は92.4%であった.2005 年のサンプルで作成したCalibration 3を2004年のサンプルで評価すると,予測値と実測の被害度との間に0.85 ± 2.79の相関関係があり,判別精度は94.5%であった.Calibration 3を2005 年のサンプルで評価すると,予測値と実測の被害度との間に0.89 ± 1.39 の相関関係があり,判別精度は93.7%であった
