By using the method of Loewner chains, we establish some sufficient conditions for the analyticity and univalency of functions defined by an integral operator. Also, we refine the result to a quasiconformal extension criterion with the help of Beckers's method.Comment: 12 pages, submitted to a journal for publication (19 April 2012

One of vegetative production method is also reproduction with cutting. Inability kept at the desired level by conventional cutting methods of setting parameters rooting success is low as a percentage. In the studies, it is known that humidity value is the most important parameters on increasing the percentage of rooting ability of cuttings. Ambient temperature in the study of computer-aided automatic rooting system and kept at the desired level of humidity values are expressed with increased rooting success of cutting. In this study, measurements of the humidity value in the perlite media on automatic rooting system was compared with RSU adapter tensiometer, Watermark 200SS and Waterscout SM100 humidity sensors. Experiments were conducted in rooting table on low humidity (40%), moderate humidity (60%) and high humidity (80%) with low temperature (18 °C), moderate temperature (22 °C) and high temperature (26 °C) in value. Detecting the humidity of the sample taken from the perlite media were made by gravimetric method. Two moisture sensors in the experiment, it was found that the moisture measurement value was statistically significant differences between the perlite temperatures. The three sensors that measure perlite ambient humidity values on automatic rooting system were compared. As a result of the comparison, the most sensitive measurement of the sensor was RSU adapter tensiometer. Therefore, it is recommended to use the tensiometer RSU adapter tensiometer

Environmental quality and health expenditures efficiency in Turkiye: the role of natural resources

The environmental pollution caused by climate change and global warming pose significant risks to health. This raises the question how environmental disturbances can affect health expenditures. Based on this, this study examines the asymmetric effect of environmental quality on health expenditures in Turkiye using the non-linear ARDL (NARDL) model for the 1975-2019 period. In addition to environmental quality, natural resources, economic growth, and trade openness variables are also included in the health expenditure model. The findings support the existence of an asymmetric cointegration relationship between the series. The findings also indicate that positive environmental pollution shocks affect health expenditures positively in the long run, while negative environmental pollution shocks do not have a statistically significant effect on health expenditures. Positive and negative natural resource shocks affect health expenditures negatively in the long run. Despite the effect of positive economic growth shocks on health expenditures is positive but statistically insignificant, the effect of negative economic growth shocks is positive and significant. Besides, positive trade openness shocks have a negative effect on health expenditures and negative trade openness shocks have a positive effect. The findings prove that the steps to be taken to protect the environment in the current period will increase the effectiveness of health expenditures in the future. This situation has a guiding feature for policy-makers in terms of policy decisions

This study aimed to examine the basic psychological needs in exercise among adult exercisers regarding gender, type of exercise, age groups, and years of exercise. The Basic Psychological Needs in Exercise Scale was administered to 234 adult exercisers (Mage=25.11, SD = 8.89 years). The participants were classified into two age groups (18-29 and 30-45 years) and three groups based on years participating in exercise programs (6 months to less than one year, 1-3 years, and more than three years) and three types of exercise groups (individual, group, and both). We found statistically significant gender and age group differences on the relatedness subscale (
