Nowadays, franchising is the most significant part in the hospitality industry through hotels and fast food restaurant. Franchisor gives the right to the franchisee to sell their product and service also to sub franchise it and worked under their brand name. Furthermore, in franchising there must be a contract between the franchisor and the franchisee which include the term and condition. Franchises include some aspects such as, screening, site selection, operating manuals and the pre opening. However, there are some advantages and disadvantages for both the franchisor and the franchisee. The expansion of franchise can be achieved through different strategies of distribution and the knowledge of the targeted market. Focusing for Pronoun Resolution in English Discourse: An Implementation

Anaphora resolution is one of the most active research areas in natural language processing. This study examines focusing as a tool for the resolution of pronouns which are a kind of anaphora. Focusing is a discourse phenomenon like anaphora. Candy Sidner formalized focusing in her 1979 MIT PhD thesis and devised several algorithms to resolve definite anaphora including pronouns. She presented her theory in a computational framework but did not generally implement the algorithms. Her algorithms related to focusing and pronoun resolution are implemented in this thesis. This implementation provides a better comprehension of the theory both from a conceptual and a computational point of view. Uji Efektivitas Ekstrak Kulit Manggis (Garcinia mangostana L.) terhadap Fusarium oxysporum pada Kecambah Kelapa Sawit

Fusarium oxysporum is a pathogen that causes wilt in oil palm and can cause oil palm sprout decay. The study aimed to determine the effectivity of mangosteen peel extract (Garcinia mangostana L.) in inhibiting the growth of Fusarium oxysporum in vitro and in vivo. The research was conducted in November 2017 to June 2018 at the Politeknik Negeri Lampung. The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments, namely the concentration of mangosteen peel extract 0% (control), 15%, 30%, 45%,and 60%. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and further tests of mean values using the LSD test. The results showed that mangosteen peel extract affected the percentage of inhibitory zone extract in Fusarium oxysporum in vitro at concentrations of 15%, 30%, and 45% respectively at 25,92%, 29,06% and 35,95%. The treatment of mangosteen peel extract also affected the percentage of disease incidence and number of leaves in in vivo testing

Morse stretch potential charge equilibrium force field for ceramics: Application to the quartz-stishovite phase transition and to silica glass

To predict phase transitions in ceramics and minerals from molecular dynamics simulations, we have developed a force field in which the charges are allowed to readjust instantaneously to the atomic configurations. These charges are calculated using the charge equilibration (QEq) method. In addition to electrostatics, a two-body Morse stretch potential is included to account for short-range nonelectrostatic interactions. This MS-Q potential is applied herein to SiO_2, where we find that it describes well the fourfold coordinated and sixfold coordinated systems (such as quartz and stishovite), silica glass, and the pressure-induced phase transition from quartz to stishovite
