    Peran Iklan Media Sosial Instagram dengan Perilaku Konsumtif Pada Mahasiswa

    Students have a fairly high consumptive behavior considering the large number of wills to make purchases that are not in accordance with their needs. Consumptive behavior is an act of making purchases without thinking about it and when someone buys something just to satisfy a want rather than a need. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between Instagram social media advertising and consumer behavior among students. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between Instagram social media advertising and consumer behavior in students. This research method uses correlational quantitative methods with research subjects totaling 162 people with data collection using purposive sampling technique. The measurement tools used are the Instagram social media advertising scale and the consumer behavior scale. Data analysis uses product moment analysis techniques. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Instagram social media advertising and consumptive behavior in students with a value of sig 1 tailed = 0.026 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study shows that social media advertising contributes to consumptive behavior. Keywords: Social Media Advertising, Consumptive Behavior, Student

    Penerimaan Sosial pada Keluarga dengan Anggota Penyandang Skizofrenia

    Family whose members have schizophrenia have the stigma and shame of the social environment so that the presence of schizophrenia in their family will really cause great disgrace. This study aims to determine the social acceptance of the community to a family with members who carry schizophrenia. This research is a qualitative approach research and carried out in the community by using five subjects who have neighbors who have schizophrenia. Data collection methods in this study used in-depth interviews. The result is that the community is able to carry out social acceptance to families with members of schizophrenia by interacting such as talking and greeting each other when meeting wherever they are. The concern that they reasoned they had pity and compassion as the reason for caring for their family. interacting with families with members of persons with such as with their other neighbors, this can be seen from how the subjects spend time and help each other together when there are social gathering events and so on in their environment so that any conflicts that occur can be resolved properly. The purpose of this study is to describe the aspects of social acceptance. Their social acceptance is concluded from how they accept acceptance along with the reasons they express, which in essence they interact with the subject's family as with their other neighbors, this can be seen from how the subjects spend time and help each other together

    Hubungan Antara Kepercayaan Pada Berita Hoax Dengan Motivasi Pembuatan Fake Identity Di Media Sosial Instagram

    Fake news or so-called hoaxes appear a lot and are generally spread through social media, groups, and personal accounts with fake identities. Trust in hoax news arises because hoax news is spread repeatedly, its content is in accordance with people's attitudes or opinions, limited knowledge, and lazy to seek the truth of information. This phenomenon suggests that trust is built through the dissemination of news that evokes emotions and not objective facts so that the line between lies and truth is very thin. This study aims to test the relationship between trust in hoax news and the motivation for making fake identity on Instagram social media. The research uses correlational quantitative methods. Respondents to this study were 110 adults who actively use social media on Instagram, aged 20-25 years, consisting of 88 women and 22 men. Data is collected through WhatsApp stories and personal chat, as well as Instagram stories and direct messages. Psychological scales and questionnaires are created using google forms. Data analysis using simple linear regression techniques. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between trust in hoax news and the motivation for making fake identity so that the hypothesis was accepted, with a significance value of 0.046 (p<0.05) and an effective contribution of 3.6%. This means that the higher the trust in hoax news, the higher the motivation for creating fake identity on Instagram social media. The small value of effective contributions can be due to the presence of other free variables outside the study that also affect the bound variables

    Pengaruh Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Transformasional Untuk Meningkatkan Kepuasan Kerja Karyawan Di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta

    Karyawan UMS yang berperan sebagai karyawan administrasi, dosen maupun yang menjalankan fungsi manajemen belum optimal, terbukti peran karyawan direspon secara tidak memuaskan oleh mahasiswa. Tidak optimalnya peran karyawan ini ada kemungkinan merupakan wujud nyata dari ketidakpuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh karyawan. Keberhasilan menciptakan kepuasan kerja karyawan tidak lepas dari peran kepemimpinan, karena pemimpin yang berhasil akan mampu mempengaruhi, menggerakan dan mengarahkan suatu tindakan pada diri seseorang atau sekelompok orang untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu pada situasi tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kepuasan kerja. Hipotesis yang diajukan: Ada perbedaan kepuasan kerja setelah diberi pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional dengan sebelum diberi pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional. Subjek penelitian yaitu karyawan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta sebanyak 31 orang, jumlah tersebut merupakan hasil screening dari 40 karyawan. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kepuasan kerja dan skala kepemimpinan transformasional. Perhitungan analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis non parametrik mann whitney U test dan independent sample test (uji-t). Hasil analisis data menggunakan t-test diperoleh nilai t sebesar -8.729; p=0,000 (p<0,01) menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja karyawan sebelum pemimpinnya diberikan pelatihan (pretest) kepemimpinan transformasional dengan pemimpin yang sudah diberikan pelatihan (postest) kepemimpinan transformasional. Rerata empirik kepuasan kerja sebelum diberi pelatihan sebesar 64,45 semantara rerata kepuasan kerja setelah diberikan pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional sebeasr 74,61, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan kepemimpinan transformasional efektif untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pada karyawan UMS

    Koping Religius Mahasiswa Berdasar Jenis Kelamin

    Good coping strategies are needed by students when studying because not all coping strategies are effective in managing stress. Religious coping strategies are considered suitable for students because they can assess difficult situations with positive considerations. Previous research showed no difference in coping strategies between male and female students. The purpose of this study was to determine religious coping strategies in students based on gender. This research uses quantitative research. The data collection tool uses a religious coping scale that modifies aspects of Pargament and Alfakseir. The respondents of this study were 184 students. Independent sample t-test was used to analyze the data. The study showed that there was no difference in religious coping based on gender because the significance of religious coping was sig 2 tailed = 0.071 (p>0.05) so that the hypothesis was accepted. This means that there is no difference in religious coping between male and female students, both of whom carry out religious practices. Female students were found to be more likely to use religious coping strategies than male

    Flourishing is a high level of mental well-being and the growth of an individual physical and psychological state regardign positive aspects of life, as well as goals in self-actualization. Covid-19 pandeminc that is endemic throughout the country is forcing humans to adapt to new habits. Even education. Teach and learn activities are quite affected by this outbreak. The purpose of this study was to examine the interaction or variables of mindset, coping spirituality, and social support, for flourishing in students in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted at the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS). The population in this study were all UMS students consisting of 12 faculties and 35 study programs. With characteristics of being an active student fro mmthe 2017-2019 class, who experienced a shift from offline to online teaching and leraning system. This research use cluster random sampling with 250 samples. Data collected were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of this study show that there is a very significant relationship between minset, coping spirituality, and social support for flourishing. However, there are insignificant results from the partial relationship between copint spirituality variables and flourishing. The conclusion of this study proves that the hypothesis proposed by researcher is fulfiller or proven. Where when an individual has a high (God) mindset, spiritual coping, and social support, it actually has a role in fulfilling the flourishing concept.     Regulasi Diri dengan Intensitas Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram pada Remaja

    Instagram as a social media with various features makes it easy for users to share photos and short videos that can be fun, and not controlled can cause addiction. Teens who are addicted will become very dependent on social media, so they spend time just to achieve satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-regulation and the intensity the use of social media Instagram in adolescents. This study uses a quantitative approach with 134 subjects using a purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is the intensity scale of social media use and self-regulation, while to test the relationship between the two variables using the product-moment analysis method, which shows a positive relationship between self-regulation and the intensity of social media use to Instagram users with a value of sig 1 tailed = 0.531 (p>0.05) so that the hypothesis proposed by the researcher was rejected. That is, the higher the self-regulation a person has, the higher the intensity of using Instagram social media, and vice versa. This happens because teenagers are able to control their behavior and know the risks that will occur if they play instagram excessively. Keywords: self regulation, intensity, instagram, teenage

    Hubungan Kepuasan Kerja Dan Loyalitas Kerja Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) Pada Karyawan Satuan Keamanan

    Employees have an important role as a source of competitive advantage for the company. Security units (security guards) have a vital role in maintaining organizational security and order, as well as protecting company assets and employees. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), which is behavior that prioritizes the interests of others and supports organizational effectiveness, is influenced by employee job satisfaction and loyalty to the company where they work. This research aims to determine the relationship between job satisfaction, work environment, work loyalty, and OCB in security guard employees. Data obtained from previous research shows that the majority of employees have low levels of OCB. The research method used is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The results of the research show that there is a significant positive relationship between job satisfaction, work loyalty and OCB of security guard employees as proven by data analysis using multiple linear regression with an F result of 16,230, this figure shows more than the figure in F table 10 (F count> F table ) and a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.01) which means that between job satisfaction and job loyalty there is a significant relationship with OCB. Thus, this research provides evidence that increasing job satisfaction and job loyalty can contribute to increasing OCB, which in turn can improve organizational performance and productivity
