Novel Method for Denoising Medical Image Using 2nd Level Discrete Wavelet Transform and Bilinear Filter
Medical imaging is one of the crucial subfields in the world of science and technology. There must be genuine image quality of medical images as it is used to diagnose diverse types of illness and in medical image we cannot settlement or compromise in quality because it provide us important data of patients and if quality compromised then severe effects may come into existence which definitely harmful for patients. Developing a significant denoising method plays a crucial role in image processing. In this research paper, image is first decomposed using filter into eight subbands using 3D DWT and bilateral filter technique and in this process we got approximation coefficient using DWT and once again DWT technique used on approximation coefficient image then we applied bilateral filter and the detail coefficients are subjected to Wavelet Thresholding. After that there is requirement of image reconstructed and this process is executed by inverse wavelet transform (IDWT) of the resultant coefficients and then it is filtered using bilateral filter. In our research work two types of images are considered which are MRI images and Ultrasound images. In this work IDWT process carried out two times that is why our research work known as 2 level DWT process. In this process finally two parameters are calculated PSNR and MSE
Analytical and comparative study of using a CNC machine spindle motor power and infrared technology for the design of a cutting tool condition monitoring system
This paper outlines a comparative study to compare between using the power of the spindle and the infrared images of the cutting tool to design a condition monitoring system. This paper compares the two technologies for the development of a tool condition monitoring for milling processes. Wavelet analysis is used to process the power signal. Image gradient and Wavelet analyses are used to process the infrared images. The results show that the image gradient and wavelet analysis are powerful image processing techniques in detecting tool wear. The power of the motor of the spindle has shown less sensitivity to tool conditions in this case when compared to infrared thermography
Search Result Clustering via Randomized Partitioning of Query-Induced Subgraphs
In this paper, we present an approach to search result clustering, using
partitioning of underlying link graph. We define the notion of "query-induced
subgraph" and formulate the problem of search result clustering as a problem of
efficient partitioning of given subgraph into topic-related clusters. Also, we
propose a novel algorithm for approximative partitioning of such graph, which
results in cluster quality comparable to the one obtained by deterministic
algorithms, while operating in more efficient computation time, suitable for
practical implementations. Finally, we present a practical clustering search
engine developed as a part of this research and use it to get results about
real-world performance of proposed concepts.Comment: 16th Telecommunications Forum TELFOR 200
Determination of the Heat Distribution in the Raw Cotton Packed in the Coil
As a result of experimental studies, a special mathematical model of raw cotton is developed. The effect of density change on the thermal conductivity coefficient is determined. A nonlinear differential equation of heat propagation in coils is obtained. The dependence of the density of raw cotton on the coil height is determined experimentally. The heat flux is intense propagating from denser layers of raw cotton to less dense ones. In a saturated form, the effect of density changes on the propagation of heat is less than in the coils. Pocket spontaneous heating occurs locally with sharp boundaries. An expression is found, which is the general solution of the mathematical model of heat propagation in raw cotton in coils, on the basis of which a number of physical real models can be constructed. The model allows to preliminarily give an estimation of the likely picture of the temperature field in the given microvolumes of raw cotton
