Why a new journal
Mission statement: Church, Communication and Culture (CC&C) is an open access academic journal of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross' School of Church Communications. Published by Taylor & Francis (Routledge), the Journal is dedicated to deepening knowledge and understanding about the dialogue between religion, communication and culture in the public arena. Based on comprehensive data analysis and theoretical inquiry, it offers an international forum where researchers and practitioners can advance quality communication research on the Catholic Church and other religious communities
Why A New Journal?
Despite the fact that Pentecostal–Charismatic Christianity has existed for over a century, there is a surprising lack of scholarly discourse on its role and significance in Canada or the Canadian influence across the globe. We feel it is time for the scholarly engagement of Pentecostal and Charismatic movements in Canada. To this end we have initiated the Canadian Journal for Pen- tecostal-Charismatic Christianity as a forum for scholarly discussion. We hope it will be a vehicle to encourage and develop research in order to facilitate our understanding of the modern Pentecostal-Charismatic movement
