    Dynamic Volatility Modeling of Indonesian Insurance Company Stocks

    The Indonesian capital market is one of the investment destination countries for investors in developed countries. The development of economic conditions in Indonesia itself is considered suitable for investors to invest. Insurance sector stocks are one of the sectors that are the target of investors. This study predicts the share price of insurance companies. Data in daily form from 2010 to 2020 uses the Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity - Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH - GARCH) method. The results showed that forecasting that was carried out until 2025 all the insurance companies studied experienced an upward trend in stock prices. Investors can manage their funds by increasing or decreasing the insurance stock portfolio and adjusting the asset allocation with the investment strategy

    ACCURACY ANALYSIS OF FIVE BANKRUPTCY PREDICTION MODELSWITH PROFITABILITY RATIO ON PT. ASURANSI HARTA AMAN PRATAMA, Tbk.

    The aim of this study is to analyze the accuracy of the five bankruptcy prediction models (Altman-Z, Ohlson, Grover, Zmijewski, and Springate) that have been done previously by the authors namely on PT. AsuransiHartaAmanPratama, Tbk. using the profitability ratio. The methodology of this study is qualitative with a quantitative approach using financial statement data that has been published on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2012 - 2016 as a prediction year and 2017 - 2018 as a year after prediction. The results of the analysis show that in 2017 -2018 the ratio of underwriting has decreased with a ratio below the average of the previous 5 years, the burden of claims has increased significantly, and the commission expense has continuously decreased from 48% in 2012 to 2% in 2018. While ROA, ROE and RNP reached the minus point during 2017-2018. From the 5 bankruptcy prediction models that have been done before and using the profitability ratio analysis, it can be concluded that the most appropriate Almant-Z model. Keyword: Bankruptcy Prediction Model, Profitability Rati

    Pengaruh Rasio Keuangan Early Warning System Terhadap Tingkat Solvabilitas Pada Perusahaan Asuransi Yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2017-2020

    Early Warning System is a tool that can be used to analyze financial statements and process them into useful information to be used as a monitoring system for the financial performance of the insurance company concerned. This study aims to examine the ratio of liquidity ratios, claims expense ratios, and the ratio of premium growth to solvency levels as proxied by Risk Based Capital (RBC). The population in this study were 16 insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sample used is 10 companies obtained by using purposive sampling method. The data obtained from the analysis of the company's annual report obtained from the IDX's official website, namely www.idx.co.id with the data method using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination test. The results of the study show that: (1) Liquidity has a positive and significant effect on risk based capital; (2) The claim expense ratio has a positive and significant effect on risk based capital; (3) Premium growth has a positive and significant effect on risk based capital.     Library websites popularity: does Facebook really matter?

    The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the utilization of social media (Facebook) is an important factor in increasing the visibility of the library site usage in Malaysian public universities. Nine top ranked Malaysian public universities involved in this research and number of Facebook followers for each library website is listed. Alexa software was used as the approach to study the issue of visibility. Alexa is able to determine web site usage, by showing the percentage of visitors of library related subdomain(s) as listed in the top subdomains for each University website (domain) over a month. It is found that Universiti Utara Malaysia library website scored the highest percentage of visitors based on the library related subdomain(s) as listed in the top subdomains for the University website in Alexa. To check such irregularities in access, this paper use EvalAccess 2.0 and it is found that Universiti Sains Malaysia’s library website scored higher irregularities. In term of number of Facebook followers, Univesity of Malaya library has the highest score. It is showed that the utilization of social media (Facebook) is not yet an important factor in increasing the visibility of the library websites. However, expectedly, top ranked universities’ library web sites, are more visible and popular. This research is limited to the situation in Malaysia where public universities are more noticeable and seldom face financial constraints rather than private universities. It is highly important for those universities’ library web sites that are not highly visible to initiate the necessary measures in improving the development of their web sites as the usage of the website is an indicator of online quality

    Purpose: The paper studies the way in which a SME integrates CSR into its corporate strategy, the practices it puts in place and how its CSR strategies reflect on its suppliers and customers relations. Methodology/Research limitations: A qualitative case study methodology is used. The use of a single case study limits the generalizing capacity of these findings. Findings: The entrepreneur’s ethical beliefs and value system play a fundamental role in shaping sustainable corporate strategy. Furthermore, the type of competitive strategy selected based on innovation, quality and responsibility clearly emerges both in terms of well defined management procedures and supply chain relations as a whole aimed at involving partners in the process of sustainable innovation. Originality/value: The paper presents a SME that has devised an original innovative business model. The study pivots on the issues of innovation and eco-sustainability in a context of drivers for CRS and business ethics. These values are considered fundamental at International level; the United Nations has declared 2011 the “International Year of Forestry”

    The globalization of markets, the fourth industrial revolution - Industry 4.0, and the post-pandemic business paradigm affected not only domestic enterprises but enterprises around the world as well. Forecasts regarding GDP growth, unemployment rates and competitiveness are provided and discussed by various organizations (World Bank, European Central Bank, World Economic Forum etc.). Additionally, a large number of quarterly reports on various metrics for almost every country are published. In this paper the existing data and reports published by some of the noted organizations are analyzed. The goal is to provide a concise and informative overview on potential domestic macro-economic trends, on national competitiveness and on the competitiveness of domestic enterprises. The overview is conceptualized through discussing existing and potential economic forecasts based on reports. The paper provides a solid basis for future research in the domain of domestic economy and national competitiveness. The paper also provides suggestions and guidelines for improving the competitiveness of domestic enterprises

    Factors Influencing Customer Satisfaction towards E-shopping in Malaysia

    Online shopping or e-shopping has changed the world of business and quite a few people have decided to work with these features. What their primary concerns precisely and the responses from the globalisation are the competency of incorporation while doing their businesses. E-shopping has also increased substantially in Malaysia in recent years. The rapid increase in the e-commerce industry in Malaysia has created the demand to emphasize on how to increase customer satisfaction while operating in the e-retailing environment. It is very important that customers are satisfied with the website, or else, they would not return. Therefore, a crucial fact to look into is that companies must ensure that their customers are satisfied with their purchases that are really essential from the ecommerce’s point of view. With is in mind, this study aimed at investigating customer satisfaction towards e-shopping in Malaysia. A total of 400 questionnaires were distributed among students randomly selected from various public and private universities located within Klang valley area. Total 369 questionnaires were returned, out of which 341 questionnaires were found usable for further analysis. Finally, SEM was employed to test the hypotheses. This study found that customer satisfaction towards e-shopping in Malaysia is to a great extent influenced by ease of use, trust, design of the website, online security and e-service quality.
