Cílem bakalářské práce je zaměření zříceniny hradu Loučky jako součást ochrany historických památek České republiky pro potřeby Národního památkového ústavu. Výsledná účelová mapa může být v budoucnu využita především pro dokonalejší administrativní ochranu památky zapsané do Ústředního seznamu nemovitých kulturních památek, ale i pro případný archeologický výzkum. První část práce se zabývá přípravnými pracemi, které zahrnují popis hradu, rekognoskaci v terénu a výběr pomůcek. Měřických postupů se týká další část, v níž se zabývám vybudováním měřické sítě a popisem měření podrobných bodů. Poslední část je věnována zpracování naměřených dat a vyhotovením účelové mapy lokality v měřítku 1:500 ve 3. třídě přesnosti.The main object of bachelor thesis is making of castle ruins survey as part of a preservation of historical monuments of Czech Republic for The National Heritage Institute. The thematic map can be used for better administrative protection of heritage inscribed in Central Database of Cultural Heritage, but also in case of archeological excavation. First part is about preparations, which includes description of the castle, reconnaissance and selection of tools. Second part is mainly about fieldwork, which includes building geometric base and surveying itself. The last part describes data processing and creating map. Map itself is made in scale 1:500 in 3rd class of accuracy.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou účelové mapy zámeckého parku v Buchlovicích. Je zde popsán postup vyhotovení výsledné mapy v měřítku 1:500 ve 3. třídě přesnosti dle ČSN 01 3410 Mapy velkých měřítek - základní a účelové mapy. Přiblíženy jsou i teoretické základy, z nichž práce vychází. Výsledný elaborát bude sloužit k rekonstrukci a zahradním úpravám parku.The bachelor thesis deals with the thematical map of the castle´s park located in Buchlovice. The whole production process of the map is described in 1:500 scale of the 3rd accurency rating class (ČSN 01 3410). The main theoretical principles are explained as well. The final elaborate will be used for a reconstruction and an alteration of the park.

Creation of the thematic map in Microstation

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá zameraním a tvorbou účelovej mapy v meste Nové Mesto nad Váhom, lokalita park Dominika Štubňu - Zámockého - starý židovský cintorín. Vytvorená podľa smerníc pre tvorbu účelových máp. Výsledkom bakalárskej práce je účelová mapa, ktorá bude použitá ako podklad pre rekonštrukciu a úpravu okolia parku.This thesis deals with the geodetic survey and creation of the thematic map in town Nove Mesto nad Vahom, lokation the park - Dominik Stubnu - Zamocky - old jewish cemetery. Created according to direction for creating thematic maps. The result of the thesis is thematic map, which will be used as a basic for reconstruction and conversion of the area the park.

Creation of the thematic map in Microstation

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zaměřením, výpočetními pracemi a vyhotovením účelové mapy v lokalitě Brno – Chrlice. Výsledkem práce je digitální mapa v měřítku 1:500 vyhotovena v programech MicroStation a MGEO.This bachelor´s thesis is focused on surveying, computational work and making of thematic map in the lokality Brno - Chrlice. The output is a digital map at the scale of 1:500 made in MicroStation and MGEO.

How to Create an Effective Thematic Map

Considering the evolution of automatic mapping programs and the huge amount of available data, the key elements that go into creating thematic maps are presented so that those less familiar with map-making might be able to craft accurate, reliable and illustrative maps.Here, we used ArcGIS Pro in order to exemplify the process of creating thematic maps presenting correlations between the number of emergency/total 112 calls and the population of Romanian counties. These freely-available data were classified using Natural Brakes, Quantile, Equal Interval, Geometric Interval, Standard Deviation, Defined Interval and Manual Interval, so as to highlight their relevant aspects. The value of the goodness of absolute deviation fit was calculated for each method and each data set. The maps were then created using combined choropleth and proportional symbol methods. The ratio between the total number of 112 calls and the county populations, structured into five classes, has been represented using choropleth method. On the resulting map, emergency calls have been represented with proportional symbols. Furthermore, aspects related to the other map elements were presented all in one place, in order to create a thematic map that would be easy to understand and interpret.The findings of the present paper could be used by those who want to represent their own data in a very suggestive and reliable manner, without having had any cartographic training beforehand. They could also more easily interpret their datasets and be able to take the necessary steps in their own domains of activity

Thematic map interpretation

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na jednu z mapových dovedností - interpretaci mapy. Cílem práce je charakterizovat postup řešení úloh zaměřených na interpretaci dvou druhů tematických map (kartogram a areálová metoda) studenty posledních ročníků gymnázií a prvních ročníků vysokých škol. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny mapové dovednosti - čtení, analýza, interpretace a tvorba mapy. Dále je definován pojem strategie práce s mapou a je popsáno, na základě čeho se tyto strategie určují. Práce se také věnuje využití eye-trackingové technologie ve výzkumech zaměřených na zkoumání mapových dovedností. Rovněž jsou popsány charakteristiky dvou metod tematické kartografie - kartogramu a areálové metody, které jsou použity ve výzkumu. Výzkum realizovaný v rámci této práce byl proveden na vzorku 19 participantů. Ti s využitím eye-trackingové technologie absolvovali didaktický test obsahující úlohy na interpretaci tematických map. Následně vyplňovali dotazník, ve kterém hodnotili např. obtížnost testu či práci s jednotlivými prvky stimulů. Také s nimi bylo vedeno polostrukturované interview, ve kterém se ohlíželi za absolvovaným testem a popisovali svoje uvažování při řešení jednotlivých úloh testu. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the process of solving tasks aimed at the interpretation of two types of thematic maps (chloropleth mapping and area-shading mapping) by students of final year high school and first year university. In the theoretical part of the thesis, map skills - reading, analysis, interpretation and map making - are characterized. Further, the concept of mapwork strategies is defined and the basis for determining these strategies is described. The thesis also discusses the application of eye-tracking technology in research aimed at investigating map skills. The characteristics of the two thematic cartography methods used in the experiment within this thesis - chloropleth mapping and area-shading mapping, are also described. The experiment conducted within this thesis was carried out on a sample of 19 participants. These participants completed, using eye-tracking technology, a didactic test containing tasks on the interpretation of thematic maps. Subsequently, they completed a questionnaire in which they evaluated e.g. the difficulty of the test or the way they handled the individual stimulus elements. Creation of thematic map of Castle park Židlochovice

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou účelové mapy centrální části zámeckého parku přilehlého k Zámku Židlochovice. Předpokládá se, že výsledná účelová mapa bude v budoucnu využita k dendrologickým studiím a jiným činnostem spojeným s péčí o dřeviny. Zámecký park je vlastnictvím státu Česká republika. Právo hospodařit s tímto státním majetkem náleží Lesnímu závodu Židlochovice, který spadá pod Lesy České republiky, s. p. Obsahem účelové mapy je polohopis, výškopis a popis. V polohopisné části je zvláště kladen důraz na podrobné rozlišení druhů dřevin. Dosažená přesnost měření byla testována třemi kontrolními profily. Výsledná účelová mapa centrální části zámeckého parku je vyhotovena v měřítku 1:500 ve 3. třídě přesnosti dle ČSN 01 3410.My bachelor thesis engages in making a thematic map of a park adjacent to Castle Židlochovice. It is supposed to be used for dendrological studies or other activites connected with wood care. The owner of the castle park is the Czech republic. The right of farming belongs to Lesní závod Židlochovice managed by Lesy České republiky a.s. This thematic map contains planimetry, altimetry and map lettering. The planimetric part is focused on detailed definition of wood species. The achieved exactness was tested by three control sections. The final thematic map is made in scale 1:5000 in the 3rd accuracy rating according to ČSN 01 3410.

Thematic map of a fire-fighting training area

Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo vyhotovení účelové mapy hasičského cvičiště v katastrálním území Perknov na okraji města Havlíčkův Brod. Jedná se o zaměření budov, hřiště a ostatních důležitých prvků lokality včetně nové příjezdové cesty. Na začátku měření byla zřízena pomocná měřická síť vycházející z bodů určených technologií GNSS. Podrobné body byly zaměřeny tachymetricky. Výsledkem je účelová mapa v měřítku 1 : 500, která bude sloužit pro potřeby Sboru dobrovolných hasičů Perknov.The main purpose of this bachelor diploma thesis was to create a thematic map of a fire – fighting training area in the Perknov cadastre, in the periphery of the town Havlíčkův Brod. It is about a survey of buildings and other important components of the locality including a new driveway. At the beginning it was necessary to create a surveying network, which was based on points set up with GNSS technology. Detail points were measured with tachometry method. The result is a thematic map in a scale 1 : 500, which will serve the needs of voluntary fire brigade Perknov.

Creation of thematic map in the "Strání" locality

Bakalářská práce se zabývá zaměřením polohopisu a výškopisu dané lokality. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje definici mapy, její dělení a metody měření při zpracování. Praktická část popisuje tvorbu účelové mapy. Nejdříve byla vybudována pomocná měřická síť, z které byly zaměřeny podrobné body. Z naměřených dat byly vypočítány souřadnice a výšky podrobných bodů. Poté bylo provedeno testování přesnosti mapy podle ČSN 01 3410. A na závěr byla vyhotovena účelová mapa v měřitku 1:500.The bachelor thesis deals with measuring planimetry and hypsography of the location. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the definition of map, its divisions and measurement methods during elaborating. The practical part describes an creation of thematic map. Auxiliary survey net was made first and then the detailed points was focused. From the measured data the coordinates and altitude of detailed points was calculated. After that testing the accuracy of the map was made according to ČSN 01 3410. At the end the thematic map in scale 1:500 was made.

The thematic map of the cemetery in Brankovice

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zaměření areálu hřbitova v Brankovicích pro tvorbu účelové mapy, a dále půdorysů a řezů kostela. První část zahrnuje přípravné práce, volbu nejvhodnější varianty měřické sítě a měření v terénu. Následuje kancelářské zpracování získaných dat. Hlavním výstupem je účelová mapa hřbitova v měřítku 1:200.The aim of this bachelor thesis is a survey of the cemetery in Brankovice for creating thematic map, ground plans and sectional plans of the church. The first part includes preparatory work, the choice of the best variant of surveying network and survey fieldwork. The following is data processing. The main output is the thematic map of the cemetery in scale of 1:200.
